I always go to different T J Maxx. To look at things for the house. This T J Maxx has separate exclusive items. I always find something good. The store was clean and staff were friendly. They had a good selection of items and it was worth the money. So, you will get a good buy. They also have Gucci, Prada, Fendi,Loewe and other exclusive items. Oh, I met a super awesome associate she work's in the jewelry department and another associate that was just working in all parts of the store.

Not to be confused with BJ Max, which leaves Mr. Headroom, Mr. Von Sydow, or Mr. Martin the songwriter, pretty damn happy. TJ's is *the* place to Maxx out your credit card. At least it seems to be, if Barbie is anything to go by. And she's something I always go by. If you know what I mean. Yes, Barbie looks this good everywhere she goes. It's not just TJ Maxx. This is a decent TJ Maxx. It's in a great location with lots of different stores in the same strip mall. They have a great selection of clothes and home decor. The cashier line gets long at peak shopping times. And Barbie gets loud at her, um, peak moments. Ahem. Now speaking of peaks and shopping, I usually make sure that as soon as Barbie gets home from shopping, she has a few peaks of her own.

When I pulled up I thought that I would never find a decent parking spot but the reality of it was that as fast as someone pulled in the lot a spot opened up. When I walked in I pleasantly surprised to see such organization and cleanliness. The store has a nice open concept bright and lively. From the Jewelry Counter to the purses truly inviting. The women's section throughout the store was organized. Not many clothes on the floor and there were no purses on the floor or hanging off the racks. Even the displays were full. As I walked the children's are esp. the toy department needed some attention. The layout of the store was unique and pretty cool. The clearance aisle looked like clearance The men-that's a different matter. Displays kinda like -whatever. Most Clothes on the racks with some off the racks it didn't matter but to give credence it was still one of the best Men Departments that I've seen in a TJ Maxx. The staff here was on their game... They were making things happen -all for the good. From the stockers, managers to the cashiers A1. For example when the lines got long the cashiers got them through quickly. I will be back but not for clothing- they do not carry anything for the muscular larger athletic types like me.

This tj maxx is okay. Selection isn't as large as the one on west gray. It's a lot messier too but it's not too bad. A little disorganized.

Every time I go in this place, it smells of mold. Not at all appealing to shoppers. It may be because it is always so hot in this store.

They have great designer deals (Gucci, Fendi, Longchamp, Tory Burch) along with the average Tj Maxx/Marshalls clothing deals.

I quickly pulled out the app and bingo! I found it and bought a shirt for $2.98 on that day. I came back today and hoping to strike another luck. Not necessarily the coupon but I had a good experience on the clearance rack at the other Nordstrom Rack in Westchase. But there weren't any thing for me at this Galleria store. Then, I went to the shoe clearance racks but there weren't any clearance shoes. Ok. I found a couple of shoes with special tags on the regular priced racks. Ugh. So unorganized. Back in the summer, it was my first time here after shopped at Westchase Nordstrom Rack and really liked the merchandise. I found a shirt with price tag from Kohls. After I pointed it out to the dressing room attendant, she found a Nordstrom tag to put on there. Then upon check out, the cashier tried so hard to sell me the store credit card. I told her politely as I needed to pay off my current credit card debt before I would apply for their credit card. She said "I'll be watching you next time you come in. You're going to apply for the credit card." I stopped going there during the day.

In the past, I would say shopping at Nordstrom Rack was always a good experience. I've been able to find gifts here and also items for myself. During previous shopping trips, the clothing and accessories selection was top notch. The Madewell earrings I purchased here were reasonably priced - like a real sale and good value. However, during my latest trip, I was actually unable to find any jewelry I liked and almost all of it was overpriced. The purses were also overpriced, and the main discounted items in that section were basically Steve Madden brand, which makes me laugh. I was able to find a beautiful scarf, but most of the other scarves I looked at were unremarkable. Hardly anyone else was in the accessories section aside from me. In fact, there were very few shoppers in the store on a Friday evening, which is a bad sign. In the past, this store would be crowded. In the shoes selection, there was no middle ground between heels/platform shoes and more sporty shoes. Hardly any flats! This is so odd and off to me, but maybe other people like it. Regarding clothing, I was able to find a cool brown shirt, but the way most clothing is organized in this store is counterintuitive and not helpful. The cashier did not greet me at all and had very little to say on the back end, so I just grabbed my bag and walked out. I doubt I would return to this location and have found shopping online or in person at the regular Nordstrom to be a much better experience.

I was introduced to Parfums de Marly. He recommended Valaya Exclusif, but I chose Delina La Rosee instead. After wearing it at home, I realized it wasn't the right scent for me. I still had the scent of the Valaya Exclusif on my other arm and liked how this settled on me! I should have listened to his recommendations. I returned the next day, and the exchange for Valaya Exclusif was quick and easy, even though I had opened the packaging.. Hamzah's recommendation ended up being what I was looking for. He made the whole experience feel welcoming instead of intimidating, and I will for sure be coming back to him for perfume shopping!

After checking their site, I saw a pair of shoes in the sizes I wanted to try available here, so I made the effort to drive on over. I knew what department to head to after seeing a directory and once I approached the area, I saw a woman behind the counter talking to a younger guy (late teens, early 20's) about non-work related stuff (concert tickets). I wasn't aware if he worked there or not but it took me a moment to get her attention. Once I did, she kind of looked me over and went to check stock in the back. She brought out a couple pairs, different colors, in one size although I requested two different sizes. She practically argued with me, saying these would fit, they run large, etc. so I shut it and just tried them on since I really wanted the shoes. I will say she was right, and they fit perfectly (I was running around all day so I wanted to wait after I was active for an accurate fit). She somewhat relaxed and I decided to look at a couple other styles of shoes of the same brand. She then asked if she could ring me up and I let her know I was going to continue shopping and if she could hold them for me. This is where her attitude changed back to the negative. Right then, I decided I was definitely not buying them from her. Shame since other associates seemed to return from break at this time who I feel I would have been pleasant to shop with but at this point, it was too late. Thankfully I found the shoes at another company where the service was on-point, and even though they don't make commission there, I was glad to give another business a sale. Even in a place such as Texas, Nordstrom still manages to fail in customer service (regardless of the department).

My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

My friends and I…read moreare dedicated bargain shoppers, and despite our best efforts, the Houston Galleria wasn't giving up any deals. With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.
