Always a great place to find good quality, discounted name brands. TJ Maxx is my go to for workout…read moregear, luggage and socks. Since these are items that typically wear out fast anyway, I prefer to not spend an arm and a leg. I've not been so lucky on clothing finds here. Every now and then I find a cute top or fun jeans, but it's rare. One suggestion at the checkout: please stop over selling the TJ Maxx credit card. The first girl gave her spiel and I politely declined, but then the other girl helping the first girl went into the spiel too. Sometimes it's too much and it personally makes me uncomfortable having to say no; especially multiple times. I worked retail when I was younger, so I know they probably have a quota to get to keep their progress up, but please don't repeat it. Maybe the second girl didn't hear the first girl. Just putting it out there.

There were points in my life when my mother would take the 4 of us kiddos and take us to the mall…read morerandomly for new clothes. Random mall runs for new clothes always meant a vacation! If it was one set... we were going to an amusement park from 7 to 11. If it was more that 1, we were going to the different peaks around Disneyland, going out of the country ( the 4 of us are still world travelers), we were going to spend time with my family and have fun with my cousins a whole week and my health conscious Mom would pretend to not see the junk we ate, or my Dad read up on a State with a lot of history, museums, and wonderful restaurants ( my fellow foodie!) and decided to take us to that state. Now TJ Maxx was the last stop on the route. That was for accessories and moreover it was for my Mom to pick up cute pieces for my Dad and herself. She spent most of her budget on us and she was such a fashionista on getting her and my Dad great outfits on sale. TJ Maxxx has a whole lot know!!! Im using them to redecorate my house. Not just them but the have a LOT of cool things!! Plus it smells so good in the store. Will be back. Today.

I had purchased 2 items and paid a portion by store credit, and the rest by credit card (roughly 15% of the total by store credit and 85% by credit card). My return was about half the cost of what I paid, which was fully covered by the credit card portion. Since the item I wanted to return was fully covered by the amount I paid on my credit card, the entire refund should have gone back to my card, per standard policy and logic. However, the Assistant Manager Megan A refused to process the refund correctly, insisting on wanting to issue a new store credit for what I had originally used while only putting the remainder on my card. Her reasoning was because it was store policy. She then refused to process my refund entirely after our argument. I then went to the TJ Maxx on Memorial Dr and had completely no issues with the return, with the full amount of the item entirely on my credit card. I didn't even have to ask to do this as it was automatic. Worse than Megan A.'s obviously incorrect 'policy' was the treatment. Her tone and demeanor made me feel publicly scrutinized and humiliated while standing at the busy cashier, as if I was trying to cheat the system. I was left feeling deeply embarrassed and frustrated in front of other shoppers. This is a failure on two counts: 1. Policy Failure: The manager lacked basic understanding of how split-tender returns work when the return value is less than the credit card portion. 2. Service Failure: Treating a long-time customer with such unprofessionalism and public derision is inexcusable.

However, after my experience yesterday at Anthropologie in Town & Country, I feel compelled to share it. I shop with Anthropologie frequently and spend a significant amount online because my work schedule doesn't allow me much time to shop in stores. Like many customers, I order multiple sizes and styles online because sizing can vary so much. Yesterday, I went into the Town & Country store to return a jacket and a pair of pants. I was immediately told they were final sale, which I knew was incorrect. Instead of helping me, the associate argued with me until a manager became involved. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. The most frustrating part involved a pair of sandals I purchased at full price for $168. After wearing them for only a couple of hours, a portion of the footbed began lifting. I brought them in because they were clearly defective and expected an exchange or replacement. Instead, I was told the shoes would be damaged out, but I would still have to purchase a brand-new pair. That made absolutely no sense to me. If a product is defective, why would the customer be required to pay again for the same item? Throughout the entire visit, I felt like I was being judged simply because I had returns. Unfortunately, this isn't the first uncomfortable experience my husband and I have had at this location. I understand that retail employees deal with returns every day, but online shopping and returns are part of today's retail environment. Customers should never feel like an inconvenience for following the store's return process. This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I've had at an Anthropologie store, and because of it, I will not return to the Town & Country location.

There's a big selection of denim (different styles, lengths, colors). While most of the store is for women, there is an area for men's and kids' clothing as well + socks and jewelry, and a clearance section. There wasn't much to browse for dresses though. Service was amazing-- the two staff members there were super courteous and nice (Alex helped me on the floor + checked up on me in the dressing room and the cashier helped me make an online purchase for a pair of jeans that didn't have my size in store). Happy with my productive visit-- easy, quiet place to shop and definitely cheaper than the actual J. Crew stores. Would return! :D

They are ridiculously comfortable, fit great, hold up well, and are just about perfect for working out. What in the heck happened to the dude who grew up in Algiers? As for the Rice Village location, it's a nice store with a good selection and plenty of people working to help. It was absolutely packed when we were there, but that really didn't bother me. The team here has always been really nice with helping out at the dressing room or answering questions while letting you have your personal space when browsing. They've been super nice and understanding with exchanges and returns-- I had a pair of shorts with the plastic tag that broke off that still accepted. Only downside is that I've noticed that they don't carry a lot of sizes so end up ordering it online in store for you to ship to your home. Park in the nearby garages for free 2 hour parking!

One day I came in the store and put my personal belongings near the Amazon locker. I was followed by the security guard that stands outside the store. He was following me around the aisle telling me to leave the store because I have been 'trespassed' by the manager. I have been shopping here for many months, I know the cashier Lesedi, I always check out with him, he never had any suspicions, I always leave my bag beside him when coming in and buy my stuff.
