Not a bad place to check out the latest discount items on clothing, bath/body care, home decor and other things. It's really hit or miss at TJ Maxx. This location is pretty easy to get to, lots of parking and spacious. The store is fairly organized as expected and if you're familiar with Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls they're set up pretty much the same. I was here with my husband as we had extra time on our hands and were trying to kill time. I found some discounted name brand Shiseido facial cleanser (originally $25) for $12.99. I usually try to grab items I see that I need because oftentimes if I come back, it won't be here. I almost always try to hit up TJ Maxx or Marshalls for my shiseido products before I try the department stores. The clothing selection and name brands sold here vary. When I looked, there wasn't anything that really called to me. I could see that if we had more time, I could probably find a few pieces to take home. Apperantly this particular TJ-MAXX that is located on Douglas boulevard is pretty amazing. It's bigger than the other locations. In addition it always has more nice looking stuff I live near antelope and I always go here even tho it's like 10 miles away from my house. I still choose this location because they are always slow and it gives me an opportunity to get more stuff for myself. They are always full of nice t shirts pants shorts they even have watches like real Armani or diesel. You can also find there phone cases chargers ear phones. So many different stuff for such a good price. read more

I don't normally shop this location because it isn't a very nice store, rundown & unorganized. I happened to be in the area and had a return from another tjmaxx. So it would be convenient to stop and do the return. I had my receipt and tags on never worn clothing. The clerk started the return and then said she needed mgr approval since the return was over $100 (never heard of this rule). The rude mgr comes up and just says no as she looks at the items. Says the tags are wrong and the brand wasn't correct-on all 3 items The only thing written on the tags is contemporary (not a brand). I asked several questions trying to figure out what she was talking about, I was then told to go back to the tjmaxx I purchased the items from. Like I lots of free time to just jet back to the other tjmaxx. This rude mgr needs a Lesson in customer service. If your going to jack up prices then offer a good shopping experience. Never shopping this location again. FYI I did make it to the original location and the return was done with no issues. No nasty mgr approval needed. read more

TJ Maxx is a great place to find higher end products for marked down prices. They have a little of everything and a whole lot of clothes. This store is clean and organized. There's some really good discounts on beauty products so you can buy a whole bunch for what you normally pay for just one. This is also the place to buy some unique kitchen supplies. I like to do my Christmas shopping early here because there's something for everyone and it doesn't break the bank. Cashiers are very friendly as well. read more

I like TJ Maxx and stop by every few months, however, it just seems like lately the stock has been really low. The shelves are pretty jumbled and when I was asking an employee for help in jewelry, they went to go find someone to help me...then, disappeared. Later, I saw them and they looked at me, then turned around and disappeared in the back...?? Weird. There are other stores in the area that carry basically the same goods (since they are the same parent company) that I'd rather go to. I wouldn't make a special visit here to look for something. I love this TJ Maxx. Not particularly for their clothing department, but all of their other departments are off the hook. I do find lots of work slacks here for about $20, and they surprisingly fit pretty well. They have a decent selection of designer clothing, like Paige, Joe Jeans, French Connection, and Free People. Besides that, they have an awesome home section and an even better purse selection. Their purses are marked pretty great- they have Michael Kors priced around $150 that you'd buy in store for well over $300, and I've even spotted a few B. Makowsky and Frye purses. The purse section is very organized (by color) which makes it easy to direct you to what you're looking for. Their accessories are pretty good too and shoes also. The home section takes up the entire back of the store, where you can find so many goodies! I get lots of dog stuff here (toys, beds, even treats). I love the location too. It's in a semi-busy strip mall... which is a good alternative to venturing into mall territory or the shopping centers around the Galleria. Save the headache and hit TJ! read more

I might be a little biased because this was my first grown-up job but I Love TJ Maxx. Always a good selection and good prices. I love to just browse. I wish they had a better fine jewelry selection as now half the case is "fashion" jewelry vs. real gold and silver. I suppose the junk jewelry sells faster but I like things to last. The remodel they did a few years ago is great. Love the small carts and automated register line. Some of the people I worked with 15 years ago are still there. What I am not fond of is ironically their trying their shot at customer service by asking "you finding everything ok" line. This is still a discount store so that seems a little pushy to me. I used to do that when I was working commission at Penneys when you are forced to create a client book. Not necessary here. Yes smile at me and say hello but thats all I need. I really want to be left alone to wander. This store brought me a lot of memories and a lot of great friends I still have today so it will always have a soft spot for me. This is my candy store! I have such a great time coming over here in my free time and searching for treasures I do not really need. The clothes are really cute, but hit or miss on if I will find something in my size that looks flattering off the hanger (and maybe on the floor...) Awhile back I found the cutest zebra print suitcase which I LOVE flying with since it is so easy to find in the baggage terminal. I have also found this is a great place to get work out gear like kettle balls. I paid $10 each for my ten pound balls opposed to $50 each at a local sporting goods store. Score! read more

I like TJ Maxx as a whole but this one is good for a few reasons. Pros: Quick checkout, good clearance section, decent furniture selection and some high end watches. Cons: Parking lot and store can get crowded especially on the weekends. Overall: I work close by, but it's my go to TJ Maxx. read more

I was at this terrible TJMaxx in roseville to return a watch and ring I had bought on impulse the day before in Southern California. The "manager" who refused to provide me her name (white overweight female in her 60's), refused to make my return even though it met all of their policy guidelines (original receipt, tags still in place etc etc). She said "you need to take it to the tjmaxx you bought it from". As if these stores are individually owned or something. Which they are absolutely not. When I advised her of how far away the store was where I'd made the purchase, she looked at me as if say "and?" with the dirtiest, most appalled look I've seen in a long time plastered across her fatface . Acting like I stole her birthday or something. After giving me the devils eye, she promptly stormed off in the middle of our conversation, whispering and giggling with one of her little minions the whole way. Very unprofessional, very rude and poor leadership. This place is as big of a joke as this "manager" is. I won't be coming here again, nor will my family or friends. read more

I couldn't believe I walked out with a big flowing frilly peasant skirt on clearance for $5. Something you would find at UO. Got some awesome deals on elf makeup, however one of the eyeliners I bought had been taken out of the box, my mistake should have checked. I love discount stores. I came by this location on a Friday morning, not expecting anyone to be there. The place was swarming with customers, mostly shopping for shoes and purses. I made my way to the home section and found a small, but nice assortment of decorative baskets. Luckily there were only two people in line, so I got in and out quickly. I bought a pair of shoes yesterday that I tried on in the store but once I got home and walked around in them for a few minutes, I realized that they were not nearly as comfortable as I thought. So I took them back today with the receipt and the cashier gave me a huge attitude about it. After spending a few minutes talking about it with her manager she said they would take them back but they usually don't take back things that have been used even with the receipt. I nicely repeated they were never worn outside just inside for a few minutes and I just bought them the day before. Isn't that how you know you don't want something? By using it and seeing if it works for you? It was also her rude attitude and her sneering at me about the return. She was the blonde heavy set girl with long hair. Love this Store no matter what State or City I am in. I especially wanted to give praise where praise is due. The employees at this location were by far the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A young man went all the way from the back f the store, upfront, to get me a cart. Very sweet. The ladies on the floor were most helpful in finding me things I was looking for, the cashier was more than accommodating, and He even helped me take my bags to my car! And as I was leaving there was a nice lady thanking me and exchanging pleasantries. This is a first in just about any store nowadays.
