My first time at HomeGoods. This store is huge with lots of selections. My friend loves to shop at HomeGoods, so we came by after dinner and started shopping. So many household interior decor items, beddings, pillows, paintings, etc. Very seasonal so easy to shop for holidays. We saw so many Halloween, Thanksgiving, Autumn and Christmas decorations when we visited. I can't wait to visit another HomeGoods, but nearer me. This location almost has TOO much stuff lol. They had carts of boxes and stuff everywhere that I'm assuming they were trying to stock the store with. This made navigating the store a bit more tight. I was able to find some items I was keeping an eye out for so that was a win for me! read more

Brunch + HomeGoods = retail therapy with a side of serotonin My best friend and I have a post-brunch tradition that we take very seriously: a trip to HomeGoods. It helps us walk off the food (kind of), and let's be real, who doesn't love the thrill of a fantastic HomeGoods find? This location is one of our favorites. It's big, clean, well stocked, and has a great mix of items, some reasonably priced, some a little "really??" but that's part of the adventure. The fun is in the hunt, and when you do find that perfect piece? Instant serotonin. Do we always need the stuff? Absolutely not. Does that stop us? Not even a little. Quick backstory for context: my best friend of 30 years and I have always had a thing, she's all about strawberries, I'm all about cherries. Finding anything with both (that isn't hideous) is a rare miracle. So imagine our joy when we stumbled upon a 2-pack of pool innertubes, one strawberry, one cherry. It was fate. We were practically squealing in the aisle! Every time we visit this store, we leave with something great, sometimes practical, sometimes just joyful. The staff is friendly and welcoming (shoutout to the cashier who admired our innertube find, we see you!). I'll absolutely be back! Especially since I've got a few rooms to redecorate soon. Highly recommend this place to shop all things for Home Decors & Furnitures. HomeGoods is a godsend just like Hobby Lobby. Ahhhhh!!!! I literally spent almost 2hrs just browsing and second decisioning myself if I "need" it or if I "want" it that bad. Ahhhh! This is the worse decision skills I've ever encounter vs if I need to get gas or nahhhh! LMFAO! Pros: -Friendly Staff/Manager -Lots of variety on home decor/furniture/rugs/snacks -Lots of clearance items -You have the option of "pay" to hold if you are having doubts if furniture will/might fit at your home. -Trucks comes once a week to replenish what needs replenishing Cons: -No Military Discount, since it's already a discounted store. -Store Credit Card isn't worth it, if you plan having your first credit 'store' card. APR is above 30%, YIIIIIKES! Not worth to save a one time 10% off your whole purchase. Lol. Now the question is, will I be back? One hundred percent I shall be back... way better than Marshall's or TJ Maxx in terms of variety of what HomeGoods has to offer even though they fall in the same in umbrella corporations. I'm writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at your store on July 11th. I arrived well before closing and was still shopping at 9:25 PM when I was abruptly told--quite rudely--by an employee that "our registers are shutting down," even though the store closes at 9:30 PM. The tone and delivery felt unwelcoming and unnecessary. To make matters worse, as I was approaching the front to check out around 9:27 PM, another associate stood staring at me with a harsh, judgmental look, scanning the items in my cart. I felt so uncomfortable and pushed out that I left my full cart behind and walked out of the store. This was by far the rudest customer service I've ever experienced at any of your locations. It was clear your employees were more concerned with leaving on time than treating customers with basic respect. If they don't want to be kind or helpful, they shouldn't be working in customer-facing roles. I will not be returning to this location, and I hope you seriously consider retraining your staff on professionalism and courtesy. read more

Love Home Goods! So many cute decorations, esp around holidays. A bit overwhelming for me bc I am terrible when faced with too many choices for items and I also overthink whether i should buy something or not. I really like the items they have for kitchenware, decor, and organizing the home. Yesterday when I went i was sad to see the kids section is gone. They used to have 1 dedicated aisle to it. I also like the greeting cards - cute cards for about $2.50-$3 ea. Oh, I wouldn't want to go on the weekends though, gets pretty crowded. read more

I would like to start off by saying that I Love HomeGoods... When I do have a list of things I need I will grab a shopping cart. I am writing this review to let the sales associates know that there will be carts in the way when you are merchandising during open store hours. I get it because I have been a merchandiser for 15 years, but on three occasions now I grab something to put in my cart and it is nowhere to be found. I even witnessed the gal grab a cart from the Isle that had an umbrella in it and put the umbrella and cart away. It is just super frustrating and the supervisor (hopefully that was NOT the supervisor) will teach the associates that customers are here to spend money in your store period. read more

I love love Home Goods! There are so many great treasures to find here. It is the best place to go for home decorating and finding essentials at great prices! There are things for every room in your house and for every member of the family. There are cute baby things, rugs, furniture, wall decor, kitchen and food items...too many to list. I stopped by here to look at their Christmas knick knacks and saw so many cute things to decorate the home, gifts, snacks, kitchen ware and toys. I really had to stop myself from buying everything. hi-ya! So I had no idea what a homegoods was--but I went in on a friends suggestion when I was shopping for lamps. The place is like a Ross, but with no clothes just household things. The selection was so good and they have so many neat accessories that would be great in a home. I didn't need much and their lamp selection (tall standing) were really limited, but they have a lot of a selection and makes you stop and shop for stuff you didn't realize you might need. I enjoyed the shopping experience there as I went to both the Roseville and the Sunrise locations. Good selection and oddly found a puzzle there that we picked up. This may seem like a duplicate review, but I hit up both stores and both were pretty much identical. haha read more

Homegoods was hype. One of the employees greeted us immediately when we walked in, I truly appreciated that. They had a good selection of Halloween decorations and cute salt and pepper shakers. I was in absolute shock when I saw this gorilla head statue. I've never seen something like it plus it was only $30 !! I would've paid any amount for it so I'm glad it was cheap. read more

This is our favorite store for all the home basics and decor. It's easy to find quality products at really low prices. They have a great selection of quality linens and kitchen goods. We've also found decor items like art, mirrors and furniture there. We also find so many seasonal decor items at great prices. I shop there often for gift items as well. They used to have more of a selection of baby/kids items so that would be a nice thing to bring back. read more

I was so saddened to see that 99.9% of your pillows you carry are stuffed with duck feathers from China. No wonder they're so cheap! For those that do not know, China has no animal cruelty laws and they rip the feathers out of ducks alive and they literally bleed to death. Why would you sell this?!!! What a shame read more

Decorated the Hubster's bathroom in Americana & Homage to his Naval service. These are just some of my finds. He's NO bells & whistles guy, and the 5 star bathroom is MINE. This is just perfect for him, and our guests. The RWB theme is loved by all, and makes our adult children smile when they come home to visit on weekends. Shop often, stock changes weekly. I unfairly pre-judged Homegoods, anticipating a rage-inducing maze of "Live Laugh Love" wall plaques and "Mommy Juice" stemless wine glasses. Yes, Homegoods is lousy with those items BUT there is also a fine selection of tasteful and cheap office decor and, to my delight, a beautiful media console that my husband and I scooped up for a fraction of the competitors' price (1/4 the price to be annoyingly exact). I also fell prey to the impulse rack brimming with cutesy silicone cell phone cases. I do wish they accepted Apple Pay, but this is not an indictment of Homegoods, just retailers in general - get with it! read more

This Homegoods is a holy grail - I have found SO many scores at this location. I've been to the Los Angeles branches as well as other Norcal ones, and this is the best in my opinion. They have a fair amount of tacky decor, but if you look past it you can find true gems. I've even found high-quality food items for low prices. They really have everything. I've only been in the summer and fall, but I can imagine that they would have a really nice holiday selection as well. Come with $100 and you will leave with a whole apartment's worth of decor LOL. read more

It's like Ross and Pier One had a baby and named it HomeGoods :) My girlfriend introduced me to this place when she found out that I'd be moving. The most awesome and affordable place to buy things for your home. From decorative pieces like art work, clocks, lamps; to bedding kitchen supplies and furniture. Brand name items too! I took my parents for the first time last week and we literally shopped for 3 hours. My dad was soo overwhelmed! He was sad that we went grocery shopping first because he couldn't fit all the things he wanted into the car! hahaha. And that man never gets excited about this kind of stuff. I think he was just overjoyed that he wasn't paying full price for anything. My mom of course had a ball and just continued to put stuff in the cart. I love this store! Hands down my favorite Home Decor store around. But as with other reviewers, I agree that timing is important! Some days are hit and miss. Sunday doesn't seem to be a good day, but Saturday morning does. Hit or miss during the middle of the week. I try and come about twice a month, and every time I come the whole store is filled with all new stuff! I barely ever see something that I have seen already on a previous trip. They have a huge kitchen section, a smaller pets section, a big bed and bath section, a small lamps section, a smaller furniture section, a medium sized wall decor section and a large sized home decor section with other misc items mixed in. I also love how I can find seasonal decorations for the current season! I can find Fall decor come September, Halloween in October, Christmas decor in November, etc. Prices are pretty competitive, but I wouldn't consider them outlet prices, maybe sales prices. Customer service on the sales floor is almost non existent. The only employees i have seen have been too busy stocking the shelves to do anything else. And the cashiers aren't overly friendly ether. Oh well. Definitely worth the drive, and if you have to chose one Homegoods to go to, come here and not the Folsom store, WAY better selection, bigger and not picked over. read more

I love this place! This is the best home goods I've been to, by far. They have a lot more of everything and it is clean and organized. There are multiple clearance sections as opposed to the other Home Goods stores I've been too. Although, I'm not saying the other stores are bad(I love them all), this one just happens to be my favorite. On top of that, it's right next to a TJ Maxx, Petsmart, Walmart, Bass Pro Shop, Smoosh Ice cream parlor, Mel's, In N Out... then across the street from target, Ross, and so much more! read more

This place has been my most recent obsession. It's a great place to find decor, furniture and housewares. If you haven't been yet, Homegoods is like the section of Marshalls that is dedicated to items for the home, except 50 times larger. The merchandise is priced well considering that many items are from well known labels. I've found dinnerware from Kate Spade and Vera Wang, and Calvin Klein bedding at incredibly reasonable prices. I also like that the merchandise is on trend. I've found that most furniture stores in Sacramento carry more traditional styles, so Homegoods has been a great resource for current trends. If you find something you like at Homegoods, don't wait to buy it because it might not be there the next day. Learn from my mistake - they don't have extra stock stored in the back room. The inventory also changes frequently, so visit often for seasonal items. I am a huge fan of this store and will continue to be a regular shopper. read more
