Pretty large store but didn't have much furniture at all lots of purses though which are my favorite thing to hunt down and lots of parking

My daughter and I have been coming here for a years . A few weeks ago I was FOLLOWED around the store by several employees. They followed me to the point that two of them ran into each other coming down the opposite isle. There had to be at least 6 different People following me . Now as I get closer to the check out line I find my daughter who stops me to show me a few shirts she wanted me to help her decide to buy. I wondered off to get a rug for my home . Now the manger is standing right next to us PRETENDING to do her hair etc in the mirror while TWO other employees walking in the same area . I didn't find out she was the manager until I complained . Anyway I assume she was standing there to attack us in case we were going to run for it . Meanwhile as I was walking around being followed I passed by a older man that was stuffing his pants with items in the dog department (how tragic ) . I hope these people are not getting paid to follow people and make shoppers feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE . At what point do you idiots realize someone is NOT STEALING and continue to follow them around the store THE WHOLE time they are shopping . Let this be a warning the next time I will make you my personal shopper . read more

The store is well stocked & the dressing rooms are clean. I didn't see that many employees on the floor but there is one directing "traffic" when you are waiting to check out. Very odd since each cashier has the option of pressing a button when they are open and there is a automate voice calling out which cashier is available. Seems like there could be a better use of his time. read more

This TJ Maxx is like any other. There was nothing that stood out as special. I still think the best TJ Maxx is in Moraga, CA. The employees were kind. Store was clean. Check out was quick. What did I learn today? There needs to be more chairs the dressing room waiting area. Too many guys standing and waiting for their ladies. read more

Do like bargain hunting? Then TJ Maxx is your place, and this location is one of the best! Skip the Ross in the same center (disgusting!) and check out TJ Maxx instead. The handbag section is the best! They are always getting in Coach and Dooney & Bourke, but they go really fast, usually the same day they hit the shelves. If you see something you like, grab it right away or it will be gone. You can always return it if you change your mind. They also have a pretty good selection of shoes and men's clothes. I don't usually find many women's clothes I like, but they have a good home section and also lots of lotions and soaps that are great for gifts. Definitely the best handbag selection I've seen at a discount store. read more

So hard to leave this store without buying something. I don't go frequently because I always find something cool. Some odd things that i found: a clothes mannequin, polka dot porcelain bowl set, and the biggest, cutest, scrapbook I've ever seen by Martha Stewart. Their kitchenware is ok. I like the fun decoration stuff a lot more than their pots and pans. There are a ton of different random plate sets, glassware, cookbooks, nirrors, artwork, and other knick knacks in the back that i love to browse through. The scrapbooks and boxes for photos are my favorite. The workout clothes are cool too. Lots of color and sizes. Yoga pants aplenty. The yoga mats are thick and pretty cheap. The bands and yoga balls are cheaper than Target even. read more

Poor customer service yesterday especially in the jewelry section. Associate giving me an attitude for asking that I would like to see similar items to see the bull of it and I am actually paying for it. She gave me a sharp look, slammed the items in front of me and I asked for the Manager who also did not want to entertain me. A hispanic lady who doesn't seemed to care of the situation. This store just simply deteriorated in terms of customer service. People you are are mostly the ones who will sink the ship. read more

This review is purely based on their dress selection - which always seems to be comprised of 30 pieces that are 5-7 styles (and all unknown brands and hideous). Why even have a sign for dresses if it's one small rack and then packed full of back racks of puffy winter jackets to make it look full? I've been here 3 times looking for a dress over different seasons and it's always the same. If you need a dress DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BY GOING HERE! read more

The store is old looking, can use some remodeling but hey.. not really complaining. Came here looking for a dress. I have a wedding in NYC to go to in a couple months and have been on the prowl. There's not a good selection of dresses here. I was VERY disappointed. Was it ROSS that has good dress selections? Anyways not sure. Although there's a ROSS in the same plaza, like 2 stores down but I didn't go check. However, I did end up buying quite a few things. I went in looking for a dress and came out with a pair of jeans, two shirts, an active tank, and a cardigan... whaaaaat? But I felt like I've seen all and bought all the things this TJ Maxx has to offer but apparently the TJ Maxx at the district is good?? I will definitely go there sometime soon. I only stopped by this store in order to locate a bow tie for a work event. I was dissapointed to not locate one in the store but as I searched the for my bow tie I did notice numerous other items that I wouldn't mind taking a second look at. Unfortunately I was on my lunch break so I was unable to take my time and look around some more. I'm sure if I had more time I would have eventually found something I would have purchased. read more

I actually exclaimed out loud when I saw Lacoste sheets for $17 in the exact colorway I was lusting after not more than 3 weeks ago. Un freakin believable! Also picked up a bunch of cute baby stuff for friend's new baby. Go to Loehmans for nice clothes, go to Ross for cheap clothes. Kind of like Ross! A dress for less kind of store. The store is well kept, the bathroom nice and smell free, and the staff were very helpful. They have a big section on Workout clothes, and a large majority of womens clothes. On the other hand, the mens section needs to grow a bit! This store is nice and clean but they wouldn't return a pair of black heels I bought last week because they were damaged merchandise. I didn't understand how they could be damaged being that I wore them for less than few hours and gave me the worst blister, I had the receipt in the same TJ Maxx bag when I purchased them and then the cashier called for the manager who spoke to me in a demeaning way saying this is a merchandise store, not a convenience store. I came here and purchased some active t-shirts and workout gear. The selection was not bad. When I went to checkout the nightmare began. While the cashiers were taking out the sensors on one of the shirts it ripped the neck part of the shirt. There is a Ross in this shopping center and they are just a little cheaper than here. read more

Honestly you can get stuff cheaper household stuff at Big Lots or Ross. But I do like their selection on WORKOUT clothes. A little pricier than Ross but they have cuter workout stuff so its understandable. read more

I was rushing to walk up to the store to make a quick return. I made eye contact with the security guard and he saw me rushing to try to make it before closing time. It was 1 min prior to 10pm, as I got to the door the security guy would not let me in because by the time I reached the door it was a few seconds past 10 o'clock. He was so unreasonably rude. He said you can even ask the manager she's right there. She was standing at the doorway looking at me, then when she heard him reference her she literally turned her back and stood in the doorway with her back to me as if I didn't exist. Worst T.J. This is a good store for bargain hunting. It is more expensive than Ross but it carries better brands and cool styles. So you pay for what you get. It's a nice shopping experience. The store is not super crowded and it is pretty organized. I like looking through the t-shirts and exercise clothing. Their selection could be bigger but you can usually find some deals especially in the clearance sections. read more

I dont know how new this place is, but it is new to me. I really love tj maxx rather then say, ross. TJ Maxx is always brighter, more room, more spacious, more spread out. I never feel rushed like i do at ross, and there is usually more of a selection at TJ Maxx. read more

TJ Max has the glasses at $12.00 a piece on sale; they were originally $16.00. However, last week I picked up the exact glasses at Home Goods for $3.99 a piece. I spoke to the manager, Karen, and after showing her pictures of the price tags from Home Goods on my iPhone, she agreed to sell the glasses for $4 a piece. I received a robe for my birthday. I went into the store to return it. The manager advised I could not return it unless I found it in the store. I went to lingerie department found the exact thing and showed the manager. As the item, I found, did not have a price ticket, she advised she would not return my item. How is pricing of your merchandise my problem! She was rude and short with me. I am stuck with an item I can't use because you failed to maintain prices on your merchandise! I've been coming here for sometime thinking this place was okay. Now that I've experienced other locations, like the one in Tustin, I come back to this one finding that it is very bleh. I've always had it in mind that Santa Ana's location was the typical layout for these stores; turns out I was wrong and I have just opened my eyes. Many times have I picked up items with misplaced price tags, and they never honor the actual price tags! But now that I have found the better stores, I'll just have to sacrifice convenience over quality read more

OK.. I wouldn't normally write a review for a place like this but it would be a disservice if I didn't let all the gals out there know of all the great finds here. I'm sure you know.. But, I didn't know that you can find the same Betsey Johnson bag that I paid $150 for at Nordstrom and buy the same exact bag for $69 here.. Oh, the best thing was finding the Wacoal bras here. I pay anywhere form $50 to $70 and some change at Nordstrom and Macy's for this bra... Here I found it for $14.99... I originally came to exchange some jeans that have been sitting in the back seat for sometime now.. I needed something smaller and found them! For a great steal... I also walked out with tons of sexy panties and bras!! I love it here.. I can't say that I am a fan so much of the clothing.. It's kind of bland and boring.. But, the bras and panties and the home department offer some good stuff.... I also found Ralph Lauren sheets here! I bought them as well! read more
