SERVICE. I am a repeat customer of Leonardo's Tailoring in Costa Mesa. I needed some custom embroidery sewed onto some clothing. The placement of the embroidery had to be carefully sewn onto the clothing, using an identical color of sewing thread. When I arrived at the shop, I was greeted by Leo at the front counter. After seeing the clothing, Leo took the time to position the embroidery on the clothing. He told me the clothing would be ready for pick-up the following day. When I picked-up the clothing a day later, I noticed the embroidery needed some very minor adjustments. So Leo asked me to wait at the shop for a few minutes so he could complete the proper adjustments to the embroidery. Once again, service was very fast and all of the work was completed to my satisfaction. Great customer service! Everything looked fantastic! Thank you to Leo! LOCATION. $109 to shorten a pair of pants and a beach cover up. I almost spit my coffee out this morning getting the bill. Cash or check only - so obviously not paying taxes - hiding money from the government is never a good idea. The place is so messy!!! Dusty and cluttered with crap. Every time was fast, quality service with good prices. They altered pants, dresses, and other formal and casual-wear for me. This place is great! I had to do an original hem on a pair of expensive jeans and the gentlemen was able to accommodate me with a very quick turnaround. The way he measures your pants is unlike anything I've experienced. Rathing than folding the pants from the bottom, he folds it from the shin and you're able to see how the hem rests on your shoes. It's very accurate and I am very pleased with the results. I will be only doing my tailoring here from now on. read more

As a 5' tall woman I cannot live without a good tailor! Having lived in many cities due to my previous job, I've also consequently seen at least 30 different tailors with varied skillsets and pricing. When I settled as a Costa Mesa resident in 2017 I found Leonardo's and have taken every item to this shop since! I know a good value. Their work is flawless and price is SUPER reasonable. Fast turn around time (even last minute but don't abuse it) and always with a smile. Stopped by to get the sleeves on a dress shirt taken in and some pants hemmed. Both were pricey items so I was willing to drive all the way up from San Juan to get these done at a well reviewed tailor.
