Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting every single time I go. I talked to the manager tonight Chris P, told him there was toilet paper everywhere and crap in the toilets, all he did was shrug his shoulders and asked what I wanted him to do about it. Said "no offense, but it's always the women's room that's disgusting. We clean it every day and it still ends up looking like that." So not only is he aware, but he doesn't care. I witnessed multiple employees coming in and out of the bathroom and not a single one of them bothered to clean it. My husband called the other manager Amber later on, acted like she couldn't be bothered and when asked if there was an interval bathroom cleaning schedule she wouldn't answer the question just "umm.. umm.. we clean it when the customers complain about it" but then said "every 2 hours it's cleaned" Make up your mind it's either cleaned routinely or someone has to do your job for you and remind you, pick one. Management has absolutely NO regard for cleanliness and waits to be told to do their jobs by customers. I'm starting to think TJ Maxx hired these managers out of pure desperation and nothing else cause the lights are on but no one's home. Very dim people. Also doesn't know who the health inspector is for the store, but best believe they're going to be very well acquainted very soon! Attached to my review is a few pictures of what my many visits to this store has looked like.

I like shopping at TJ Maxx because they have great prices and a variety of stuff. The clothing is nice. I just wish they offered more in their plus section. Household items are plentiful and you can always find something unique. It's a place I like to shop for gifts for others. During the holiday season, more specifically Christmas, you can always find products that you wouldn't think of being sold here. It's a great place to shop and hold on to your wallets because you will be spending money.

I always love coming here to buy nice little gifts for friends and family. They have a huge selection of beauty products, kitchen items, clothing, and home decor. There's something for everyone, men, women, children and pets. Halloween items are already out in August. The employees are always quick at the registers and the line moves fast, no matter how long. There is always a sense of clutter though and no order to certain sections. You really have to dig around to see things and it creates a mess. I like it here and enjoy shopping for gifts.

A favorite place for me to find great name brand shirts and lucky jeans! Very reasonable with prices and generally not too crowded at this location.

This store carries a nice variety of items. All the store tend to have most of the same beauty, household, and stationary products. I find that the clothes and shoes vary the most from store to store. It's pretty clean but kinda old. This store is small compared to other locations I've been too. I didn't see many employees on the floor, all were at the registers. If you're looking for Halloween decorations, this is the place to go! They have a ton of stuff out already.

TJ Maxx Summerville is a great place to shop for all of the clothes, home goods, and gift items that you could ever need a low prices. There is always new inventory coming in and quality items on display. I look forward to being able to come here and shop and always seem to be coming away with some cool clothes and items. This is a well run and organized store that I always enjoy shopping at.

Nice selection of bath/beauty items and home decor. Not such a big variety of clothing and shoes though. Very nice dressing rooms.

What I really like about the place, besides low prices are that the people that work there are extremely nice. Not only are they pleasant, but they're more than willing to help you find anything you need. In fact, I had a lady basically drop what she was doing to show me to the belts. Come on, that's customer service!!! That said, the back isles were extremely cramped, products all over the place and lots of bare space. Ross seems to have a lot of resale items, which I'm not sure if that's accurate but that's the vibe I got. What I do like is I found most of what I needed discounted to some level or another. While I'm not a fan of the toy section having items just thrown on the shelves I didn't mind as I enjoyed the hunt. Anyways, I was able to locate a couple toys for my youngest girl. Also considering the diversity of products they have, I was able to get some nicely priced art supplies such as canvases, paint brushes and acrylic paints. Next my oldest is getting close to being on her own so I bought her some cooking supplies. In fact I got her a Cuisinart pot and lid that I currently use at a price that's cheaper than I found at other places! Not only that I got her an 8" chef knife for a cheap price which will serve her well in all her cutting needs as the most versatile knife a cook can have in their kitchen. I debated buying some clothes too however I learned a long time ago getting clothes for a 17 & 14 yr old girls without their input isn't smart therefore I let them do that shopping on their own. As for me personally, I was on the hunt for belts. Of the top I'll admit clothing is EXTREMELY subjective which means I didn't find a brown belt to my liking. Moreover, there selection of clothing wasn't to my taste either. But at least they have a decent selection. Ross is a great place to shop for a plethora of items for relatively cheap all under one roof. Most of the items aren't things a customer would find at say Dollar Tree but things that are of higher quality. I highly recommend dropping by if there's something you need and you want to save a buck or two. Also being able to shop in a clean and secure place with a friendly staff can't be overstated. Stop on by and save!

Going in I knew they added a lot of merchandise so I was ready to hunt! The employees and security were nice and helpful. However I was amazed at how quickly folks trash this store. workers are stocking, arranging and tagging items in this store, however as soon as they're done the same area is trashed. I will never understand how and why people just throw items on the floor. Despite all of the above Ross has tons of hidden treasures.

One place that will always dominate any neighborhood besides that other depressing behemoth store…read moreis Target. A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. This brings me to Target in Summerville, SC. Located in a safe albeit busy part of town this place will have, almost anything you need since it's a Super Target. They're aren't many people walking around so if you need something be prepared to "hunt." Finally the place is always clean and stocked so that's a huge bonus. As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Target, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is always needs a lot of washing. The baked and homemade food items are average but better than that other "blue" store! I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Target as it's the cheapest. Overall, Target is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Other than those items, it's Target so you already know what you want.

That Starbucks is crazy busy so I avoid going there. I always find at least a few things from the back sales rack for great prices which I love. The grocery sometimes can be a little lacking depending on the season I can't find certain things but they have a decent selection. I was returning some things this visit, it did take a bit longer of a wait given the holidays, but the gentleman that helped me was very nice and friendly despite the piles of returns surrounding him. Very solid target!

Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location in the Azalea Square…read moreshopping center, Kohls is there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.
