I've definitely had a lot more complex designs and there were zero problems for me getting it done here as Lisa is really good. I've been going to TK for a few months now, and I'm so happy to have found Lisa and the rest of the team at this gem of a beauty salon! The team works fast while providing the best service. I always look forward to my pamper days because I know they're going to take care of me. Lisa's nail designs blow me away every time. I was getting my lashes done with Christine for the last 7 months. Amazing retention. She creates beautiful wispy lash sets. She is super fast as well! Which I loved. Super sweet lady. Would book me in for appointments super fast. Within these 7 months, i've always noticed i would get lashes that are stuck together or more than one natural lash attached to the fan throughout my lash line. I've told her a few times that i've noticed that happening. She would blame it on either it being too cold in the room and the glue not drying fast enough or she switched to a new glue. I also noticed she would glue the extensions super close to my lash line, basically touching my skin. To my knowledge, lash extensions should be glued 0.5-0.7mm AWAY from your lash line. My lash health is super important to me and I noticed my lash line was getting damaged. (i've been getting my lashes done for the past two years and never had a problem with my lash line getting sparse /damaged) This last time I went to her was the last straw for me. All of the above happened to me but x2. I walked out of there immediately in discomfort. It would hurt to blink and brush my lashes. I texted her if she could fix them for me because of how much pain I was in. All the other times i would just deal with it, but this time was just too much. She told me to come back in an hour. I went back in and she tried to pull apart the lashes that were stuck together. This was a very painful process. Even though she did pull some apart, she did not take her time so check every single lash to make sure it was isolated correctly. As I went home and double checked and noticed a lot still stuck together. The next day when I woke up, my eyes were swollen and irritated. The lower part of my eyeball was super red and sore to touch. I thought i woke up with pink eye. Thank god it wasn't. The redness and soreness went away in 3 days. Overall, I am super bummed. I loved coming to TK Beauty & getting my lashes done with Christine. It was only 5 minutes away from my house, super convenient, but I choose my lash health over anything else. I do recommend you trying it out for yourself. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did. Picture shows how many fans had more than 1 natural lash attached to it. I went into TK Nail Spa with a positive mindset today because l've been going to the same girls for so long and they always do a great job. However!!, this time there was a different employee (Tina is what she told me her name was) who left me confused and upset. There seems to be false advertising based on what she told me. The price on the services menu didn't match what I was charged, and it really ruined my experience. Not only was it the prices that were not reflected the same as the menu, but the services that were supposed to be done for the package I chose weren't completed. She only did a couple of things off the list, which bothered me because I have had the same routine of choosing that package and getting all of it done during my visits. I feel like it was rushed towards the end because other customers came in, which I understand, but it's unfortunate that I had to deal with that. I was going to leave a tip of $10 as per usual, but I refrained from doing so this time around because even though I spoke up about the change, I was dismissed. I was basically told that those things were wrong. I'm not sure if she was trying to charge an automatic tip I hope they address this issue soon. I got my lashes done here a couple weeks ago and I was not impressed. Showed a picture of lashes she had posted (Cat eye) and was told ok when she was done they were short, and the ends were missing. She mentioned she had gone too short & 'next time' she would do longer. They looked decent so I figured I'd be fine until my girl got back. As soon as I sat in the car a lash fell out and they haven't stopped since! Would not recommend coming here at all not worth the $130 paid! read more

I had an acrylic overlay done on Tuesday of this week at this salon, and I was pleased with the outcome. However, on Thursday, all of my nails started to lift and some fell off, so I made the decision to get them fixed. The employees decided to begin soaking off all the nails after agreeing to fix them. Everything seemed okay until the older woman who was supposed to do my nails started using a drill to remove the acrylic that had soaked off and said she also wanted to use a cuticle nipper to remove the acrylic. Some nail techs use a cuticle pusher to remove the lifted acrylic during a soak off based on my past experiences. The drill kept bouncing and spinning around my finger. I'm not sure if this is a sign of an inexperienced nail technician. My nails are now severely damaged due to improper soak off, and as you can see in the above images, there is still product residue on them. Even though I had gone to that salon to get my nails done and no nail should only last two days, they wanted to charge me to do them again. In addition, they wanted to charge me for the removal, which I had not requested, but they did it anyway as they thought it was the best option. Even though I wasn't charged at the end, I do not think it was fair, and I didn't think the soak off was done appropriately. I had a bad experience here, I truly wanted to like their work since the place is close to me and very pretty. read more

I've been coming here before the nail salon got re-owned, the past 3 times my nails have fallen off under a week and are fully off by the week, don't recommend, all though shaping is good and design not worth it and for the price being on the pricy side for simple things. Would not be coming back. I also got a pedicure here twice , Second time i got an infection on my big toe from the tools which led to me having pus oozing for a whole week following and lost half the nail. read more
