Let me start by saying that I'm my family's personal urber eats delivery driver!! No thats not what I do for a living! But damn that's sure how I feel ! Where do I begin I recently started following Tkb on IG so it's been blowing up on my feed the food looks amazing but so does everything else that's comes on here right! So it's a lazy Saturday and like always everyone tells me just bring whatever you want back home and like always I'm left deciding for everyone what we're having for lunch. So I roll up to TKB food truck and there's already a line forming! Always a good sign of good food in my opinion! So I ordered a dirty Riverside TKB Classic and it a Tuna sandwich For dessert I got 2 lemon bars and a walnut brownie, clearly got everything to go. When I opened all the containers I couldn't believe how massive these sandwiches were I was seriously amazed! Now for how they tasted FrEaKeN DELICIOUS!! Everyone was loving their food, I chose the dirty Riverside roast beef was super flavorful I enjoyed the soft jalapeño bread and all the fixings. Not sure if it's called dirty Riverside cause it hard to eat because it's pounded with so much beef and everything else food gets all over the place!! Not complaining! Just saying. Like I previously said the other two sandwiches were bomb AF TOO !! So after indulging in my massive dirty Riverside I had to try at least one bite of the lemon bar and one bite became two bites and When I least expected it. It was all gone !!! Saw it on social media and had to give it a shot. So glad I did. Asked for their best sandwich and they said to get the dirty Riverside. It's on the spicy side with the jalapeño bread but it's very delicious. Messy sandwich but worth getting dirty for. I definitely have to come try the rest of the menu. read more

First of all, i have been let down by food influencers... but this one is not one to dismiss! I had been seeing all this chatter on IG about this food truck and so glad I sent my husband out to get us dinner from them. My husband got the pastrami and kept saying "man i shoulda got the same sandwich as you." Get the TKB classic. You wont regret it. Its huge! Its like 2 meals! And freaking delicious! After seeing the sandwiches on Tik Tok I told myself i had to try it!!! I finally stopped at the riverside location today. My husband and I got the Brooklyn pastrami sandwich on the butter garlic roll and the riverside sandwich. I will say we definitely were not disappointed at all. The bread was fresh and delicious, the pastrami seem to be good quality and just the taste of both sandwiches we fire We will definitely be back when in the mood for a sandwich. Hopefully they get a store here in riverside . Definitely our new sandwich spot. I'd highly recommend!!! The service was great and we got our food in a timely manner. read more

I recently found out TKB had a food truck here in Riverside! I've been to their storefront in Indio before and I was blown away by how classy it seemed and the multiple options they had. The food truck, although obviously limited, holds up! I decided to place an order ahead of time on DoorDash (glad to have this option!) I order the TKB classic and the calypso strawberry lemonade. On the app, the TKB classic comes with jalapeño kettle chips. It also costs extra ($1.25) to split it in half. Once it was time, I drove over, the cross street being Buchanan. I saw the truck was in a tiny business park. Barely any parking but I managed to find a spot. No customers were around, this was around 5pm, an hour before closing on a weekday. I walked to the truck and called out and said I was there to pick up my order. The staff were nice and handed me my order. I opened up my order and saw two boxes and a cookie and brownie. It was so nice that included! No chips. I am not sure if the TKB classic was not supposed to be included with chips or if it was a mistake on DoorDash. My sandwich was delicious! All the ingredients used are typical for a sandwich, but the way it's prepared and the sauce make it a league of its own. I also really enjoyed my strawberry lemonade. My order total was $25 with some change. It is a bit pricey but the sandwich is big and fills you up while being satisfying. I enjoyed it! Went here again for a quick shared lunch while running errands. We tried the Sexy Italian Sandwich this time and it was AMAZING. Service spectacular as well, very quick, super nice and even offered to run it to our car. I can't give enough praise for both the quality of their food and service. Out of the two sandwiches I have tried--I think the TKB Classic is in the lead as their best sandwich. Highly recommend coming here and bringing your business to them! This is a food truck from the TKB Bakery and Deli, the #1 deli and bakery in the US, according to Yelp Top 100 of 2018. It really should be #1 every year, but let's not be greedy. The restaurant is located out in the desert, in the city of Indio. We've been there once, and I have have raved and drooled ever since. Just the other day I got lucky and found out they also have a food truck that comes to Riverside on Saturdays. But as food trucks are known to do, not every Saturday. The cashier mentioned this location is not year round (sad), only summer hours, and every other Saturday, but looking at their Instagram page, I found it was different. This was our first time here and we came for the OG Pastrami, a freshly baked roll from their bakery, heaped with hot pastrami and melted cheese. It comes with a side of their signature, wonderfully fresh potato chips. I requested the lettuce, tomato, and onions be put on the side. The fun part of this experience was they also offered free tastes of some of their baked goods. This time we got brownie bites, and the guy behind me in line offered me his free pumpkin cheesecake muffin. I also succumbed to buying one of their lemon bars, large enough to fill the entire bottom of the to-go container. They have just a few small tables (with umbrellas) set up on the sidewalk. Most people we saw picked up their food to eat elsewhere. And one mentioned he had ordered either by phone or online. Not sure quite yet which way. They have a loyalty program where customers get 1 point for every dollar spent. The best reward is a free sandwich for 600 points, but there are other smaller rewards, making it well worth signing up. read more

Today my husband, father in law and I drove to this food truck. There was a few chairs and 2 tables set up in front of it. Very friendly people who run it, we ordered our sandwich's, which came with chips, and a cookie. I had the Ruben, my husband had the OG and my father in law had the turkey, they were all delicious, better than we had expected. I would have given a 5 but I went today to pick up sandwiches that I had ordered on the phone , I was in a hurry so I preordered to quickly pick up . I tried calling the local number on their website and received a msg saying their mailbox was full so I decided to call the other number that's posted on the lunch truck , I put the order in and they said it'd be ready in 10 mins , I gave them extra time and went 20 mins later. When I got there I told them I was there for a pickup , I gave them my name and they asked me three different times if it was for another persons name after I told them over and over again my name . Then , they said they didn't have an order for me , I told them I had called and put the order in and was told I'd pick up in 10 mins , after a bit they said they didn't have the order . I was going to leave but my daughter really wanted one so they told me they would have to make them for me . It was quite a mess and kinda disappointing that whoever took my order didn't put it down . Anyway , they made the sandwiches and gave me a great discount of 35 cents for the inconvenience . I took the drive to TKB food truck in Riverside to have one of there sandwiches. The weather was triple digits so a nice cold sandwich would definitely hit the spot. I ordered the Dirty Riverside its served hot so I specifically told the person taking my order to serve it cold not hot. He assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. After a few minute wait my name was called so I can pick up my order. First thing I noticed was the hot soda that was handed to me. Theres no way I can drink a warm soda with my meal especially in this heat. Unfortunately they had no cold cokes on hand. So I decided to take the sandwich to my office so I can get ice for my drink. Once I was ready to dig in to my sandwich I seen that that I received the Sandwich totally hot which is what I didn't want. Cheese was melted and the veggies were hot and wilted from the hot sandwich. It's pretty frustrating because I was looking forward to enjoying a cold sandwich with a nice cold Coke. I could not eat the sandwich as it wasn't what I ordered plus I was looking forward to eating a nice cold sandwich. I couldn't drive back to the TKB truck do to time restraints in my schedule. Amazing sandwiches. Every bit as good as the main TKB in Indio. Got the TKB classic and the Brooklyn Pastrami. Very friendly service and order was ready right on time. The TKB in Indio is a place that takes real pride in what they do and the flavor and quality speak loud. This food truck is exactly the same quality and passion for excellent sandwiches.
