Right when we walked in the door, we were hit with the smell of freshly baking bread. We ordered a variety of items from a chicken salad salad, a tuna salad salad, a tuna salad wrap with avocado, a toasted grilled cheese and a turkey avocado sandwich on a croissant. The stars of the show may have been the potato salad and the pasta salad. All and all everything tasted fresh and delicious. My 4-year-old picky eater requested we go back the next day and that's how I knew it was top notch. As if this place couldn't get any better, we had impeccable service from the husband and wife owners each day. They informed us they've been in business over 25 years and the long line developing behind us was a testament just to house special this place actually is. The corned beef/pastrami was solid but the highlight was definitely the French dip. It really impressed me and had amazing flavors. The clam chowder side was really tasty as well. Service was good but the food did take about 15-20 minutes to come out. Overall it's a good lunch spot and the outdoor patio seating overlooking Main Street was really nice. The owner here is really sweet. Found this gem tucked away in the heart of downtown just around the corner from Mission Inn. I ordered their roast beef dip and got their soup of the day. The sandwich was very delicious. The bread was nice and warm and the roast beef to bread ratio was awesome. They're a juice sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. Each came with a side of pasta salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, carrots sticks, coleslaw or fresh fruit. Soup costs an extra buck. We had the Thai noodle soup and it was delicious! We were greeted by the owner (didn't catch her name) who gave us the full spiel on her restaurant, and she was just the sweetest lady!!!!!
