My wife grew up on OC eating at a Tummy Stuffer as a youngster. She was excited to find a Tummy Stuffer in Riverside close to her work. We went togethjer as she was a bit nostalgic for food plaaces she went to growing cup. The location is in a business district, but the familiar design and interior of the resteraunt made my wife happy. We arrived when it opened and were glad we did becuase it got busy very fast from many wokers in the area. We both ordered the roast beef sandwich and my wife said that it totally reminded her of the one she grew up with. Personally the food was ok, and I probably wouldnt go back, but service was fine and the resteraunt was clean. read more

While running around town gots a little hungry and had to hydrate. Stopped in for a light lunch and ordered a roast beef with cheese. Guess what im having for dinner tonight. This spot is a hidden gem! It's sandwiches. And they do the sandwiches well. The menu is very straightforward, the seating arrangements and ambience of the place is giving "grab your luncheon go" but the service is great. The cashier answered all of my questions about what came on the sandwich and what did not, let me add a few extra veggies, and I was out of there! I wanted to like it more. But for my first time here, it was kind of a fiasco. I did a grubhub order for like $2 more. Which is the same price as a 12" sub. The taste wasn't worth coming back to. I even like the veggie sub from Jimmy John's better. read more

Paid $19.72 for a 12 inch Pastrami sandwich meal. Bummer to say they barely put any pastrami in the roll. The bread was nice and soft. Too bad they couldn't stuff it with meat to make it a full roll. 2nd time here and same. read more

The BEST sandwich I've ever had in my entire life! It was 3 of us that came in for our first time and we all LOVE everything we got. The staff is also very friendly and management is incredible and very kind as well. It's a small and quiet place but everything from the staff to the food is amazing and we will definitely be coming back often after the great experience here. read more

I've been coming here for years, and every time the service is consistently great. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out quick without sacrificing quality. Everything I've had tastes really good. I usually go with the #30 (steak and cheese) or the #52 (roast beef and cheese), and they never disappoint. I always recommend this place to friends definitely worth checking out. read more

Absolutely welcoming hospitality! First time trying this place out. I've had it on the bookmarks forever. Nice menu to please every sandwich enthusiast.. if it was up to the hubs he would have sandwiches everyday. All sandwiches are customizable with whatever toppings you'd like to intertwine. The bread is so pillowy soft and had a nice chew to it. Meatball & cheese had nice sized albondigas! I was missing some of that melty cheese with that nice red tomato sauce. I'd probably add some crushed red if you like a little spice and a touch of salt. The monster was packed full of tasty contrasting textures. Reminded me of a club sandwich that jumped to hit the question mark box and got a mushroom to grow larger. It's definitely satisfying for a man meal. One of the original community staples since the 80's. Located in the business district side of town. Nice seating indoors for a lunch break. Best sandwich I've had from a local deli in the IE! The bread was perfect and the sandwich was STACKED. Perfect sandwich and perfect lunch spot. Nice calming experience. Its a nice hidden sandwich spot I always go to after going to class at UCR. Service is always nice. Its run by a really sweet lady and the ambiance is pretty chill. Recommend going here for a chill spot and for sanwiches or salads. Tuna salads here are pretty good. Recommend a try 100%. Support this sweet lady. read more

After along search for a good sandwich shop in our area, we stumbled upon this shop. Right away we were attracted by their large variety of sandwich combinations. Staff were very friendly and very clean environment. We tried the monster on sourdough and it was the most delicious and crunchy fresh sandwich i've possibly had. I love the chopped pickles. The macaroni salad was very tasteful and complimentary to the sandwich. We also tried their #28 which is a BLT with avocado and that avocado spread was fresh and yummy! Most definitely will be coming back to try more of their amazing menu. Great find! So many wonderful options. read more

This place is horrible. This is one of the most nastiest plain sandwiches I have ever had in my life I really don't know how they stay in business. You're better off staying home and making a peanut butter jelly sandwich because this sandwich had no flavor cold when it was supposed to be a hot sandwich. It was horrible. very disappointed in the quality the presentation the taste of it. I would not be going here ever again. I do not recommend this place. I would give it a zero store. If I could you're better off stopping at a gas station and getting a hot dog that's how bad this place is good luck to anyone that comes here. But I really wouldn't waste my time. Subway is better. Jersey Mike's is better. Hell, Stater Brothers already made sandwiches are better than this. read more

I have been coming to the Tummy Stuffer Restaurant for over 28 years and I don't think there is a better sandwich restaurant anywhere in Riverside! They offer such a wide variety of choices with over 101 sandwiches and they use top quality ingredients to make sure each sandwich is delicious. I also love their potato salad. The staff is also top of the line and treat you with kindness and respect making sure they get your order just right. Thank you for many years of excellent lunches! read more

Definitely worth checking out for some good submarine sandwiches! The Monster and Italian Cold Cuts subs were delicious. We used to visit the one in Costa Mesa until it closed and were fortunate to find this location while driving by Riverside. The kosher pickles are crunchy and the ingredients served fresh daily. This little gem is located in a business district, so check the hours before visiting. I was told by the owner's son that the owner acquired the business in 2020 and had been an employee of the store for over 25 years. She was really friendly and sweet as well as the entire staff. read more

Tummy Stuffers is located in a commercial building off Iowa. There is plenty of unpaid parking (no electric charging stations). They operate during daytime only. The inside features all low top booth and non booth seats and is indoor only. Tummy Stuffers has an extensive menu so you will have plenty of choices and when making it a combo you can choose from chips , pasta salad or mac salad . There are also several options for bread and wraps. They also offered bottled drinks or Pepsi fountain products. No beer. I ordered the # 91 - Turkey & Cheese. This was your average sandwich . Not bad but not the greatest. I like that they chop the pickles on the sandwich ! Never seen that Before... I wished they had olive oil and vinegar topping. The stars of the show may have been the potato salad and the pasta salad. All and all everything tasted fresh and delicious. My 4-year-old picky eater requested we go back the next day and that's how I knew it was top notch. As if this place couldn't get any better, we had impeccable service from the husband and wife owners each day. They informed us they've been in business over 25 years and the long line developing behind us was a testament just to house special this place actually is. Definitely give this spot a try!

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I did not like the fact that it wasn't mentioned that the beans are made with bacon until AFTER we received our food! My dad doesn't eat meat and the rice is made with chicken as well. The server did bring him something else but this needs to be stated on the menu or upon ordering! We were sat right next to where they made the tortillas and can see them being made since they had glass windows around it. However, there was one gentleman that was making tortillas who was on his cell phone texting or whatever CONSTANTLY at the same time while doing this. He had a glove on one hand and no glove on the other, and was touching the tortilla dough.....We all know how dirty a cell phone is! And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. Definitely made my stomach turn and what caused me to go and write this review. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Also, maybe give the option of meatless beans and rice for the non-meat eaters

Food is always great! Just be cautious when using Grub Hub to order. My order was only about half right and about $2 more when I picked it than what was stated on the order. Probably better off calling your order in, there seems to be some disconnect in using the app. As i said though, food is always amazing! Even though it wasn't as I ordered, it still tasted great! And the staff is friendly. They are working hard to keep things sanitized during this time. read more
