We came for the $25 brunch buffet and highly recommend you sit this one out. The brunch was not replenished so once the pan of shrimp and grits was out that was it. The smoked salmon was apparently never replenished either as all I saw was a plate with capers and bagels left behind. They also advertise avocado toast and there was none. This was our second time at TK's Club. I love the fact they have 4 or more comedians. TK and his wife performed the night we were there and they were very funny as were the other comics. Drink prices are reasonable and no minimum!' We love to have dinner in the restaurant and then be escorted to our seats in the showroom. We will definitely be back. read more

Where do I begin... I came here for a birthday party (of 9) and let me be clear, NONE OF US WILL EVER BE BACK. The waiter is the only reason there is one star (that, and yelp not letting me leave ZERO STARS) even though he made several mistakes himself, AT LEAST he was apologetic. The main issue was the service & quality of food. We ordered oysters, sliders, several drinks, and entrees. The oysters were almost inedible. We didn't complain. The drinks were "off". We didn't, really, complain. What got us were the entrees. 3 of our steaks, ordered medium, were served to us either medium well or well-done. When we complained to the owner, TK, he responded very abrasive and combatively. Not once did he ever apologize, not once did he ever say how can I make it right, we told him what we wanted, we told him this is inedible, this is not what we ordered, can you remake it. He again was combative, and said, "I am a steak person, I order steak all the time, and this is definitely medium." I am appalled. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where the waiter argued with me, let alone the "owner". LOL first of all, if you were working in a business that focuses on customer service, the customer should be satisfied. It is always your fault. I'm not even an owner of a restaurant, and I know better than to argue with a customer. But, not only did the owner come out and ARGUE with us, HE SENT the cookout to argue with us, and the cook Said, (ALSO WITH NO APOLOGY) "I held the steak up to the light, and it is medium I've been cooking for 11 years". First of all, why do you need a hold up to the light to see the pink??? The pink should be pretty visible? And, IF 3/3 people said this isn't how we like our steaks, we've been to way nicer restaurants and never had this problem, WHY ARE YOU ARGUING WITH US????? 3/3!!!! No.... if, 3.... T H R E E... I came across this place because I was looking for something different for a date night. I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance and large space but even more impressed when the owner TK introduced himself and greeted us at the door. We sat at the bar for a drink before the comedy show and the bar staff was very friendly as well. The comedy show was great and definitely worth every penny. We got vip tickets and sat in a booth. After the show, we went down to the speakeasy where there was live music. A great date night out. We had dinner followed by a stand-up comedy show on a Saturday night. The speakeasy had a quirky fun vibe and the musicians were fabulous. TK himself is a great host and funnier than he looks! Great location and easy to get to off the tollway. The drinks are very reasonably priced, and in the comedy club there is no minimum. The drink menu is solid and The Matador and Smokey Oakey are standouts. We like going to comedy clubs like Hyenas but the drinks typically are never very good, the minimums are oppressive, and the food is nonexistent or worse. We made a reservation at 6pm and we're the first to arrive. We waited a few minutes as the staff was arriving. The decor of the restaurant is unique but nicely appointed. We received a table with the view of the water and enjoyed the peaceful emptiness of the restaurant for a few minutes. We ordered the deviled egg appetizers with four different unusual flavors. I enjoyed the one they called RedHot the most. There were two that were deep fried that were delicious as well. For the entrees, my wife ordered the filet mignot with lump crab meat and béarnaise sauce. It was accompanied by a croquette potato and wilted spinach. Absolutely amazing taste and texture. I ordered the bone-in ribeye that had a fully loaded baked potato and sautéed carrots. Mine as well was delicious and plenty of food for two people if you're so desired. We ordered wine and martinis to round out the meal. Next, around 7:30 we entered the comedy club and ordered more drinks. The comedy included three different comedians including TK (owner of the restaurant) himself. They were all pretty good stand up routines but the last guy was about of LA and had been on Comedy Central previously. After the show, TK opened his secret Speakeasy downstairs and the journey to the bar downstairs did not disappoint. Beautifully appointed area downstairs was really decked out and wildly decorated. There is space for some private dining downstairs as well as a fully stocked bar. TK came down to serve but his bartender upstairs was not yet available to serve the folks down there so we decided to call it a night. Very interesting place and TK is a very hospitable host. I booked way in advance for a party of 2 to celebrate a friend's birthday knowing full well that during the Christmas season reservations book up fast. Every thing seemed to go according to plan, but a week before my reservation I got a call from the owner- TK, saying that my reservation needs to moved to another day or I could a full refund. I paid over $200 to get the full experience of having dinner & comedy show. I must say, I am thankful that the owner personally reached out to me. He said my guest & I would be taken care of if I decided to change the date, which I decided to do so. It was my first time there and I automatically loved the outdoor & indoor decor. Upon entering the establishment there was no one there to greet us and the host wasn't aware about my new reservation. TK finally came over & explained the situation. TK did treat us to free champagne & we basically got freedom to order anything off of the menu. Unfortunately, some items I did want wasn't available and come to find out my guest & I were given 2 different menus. The restaurant wasn't packed but the biggest downside was that they were understaffed. Therefore service was horrible! I understand that management has to help in order for their restaurant succeed, but TK was all over the place- host, serving, greeting, & top it off he was one of the comedians (he was one of best ones). So I was there Sunday night (July 31, 2022) with some friends. We paid for the VIP seats (right in front of the stage), but it wasn't necessary since the place wasn't that full. It was Sunday night, the place isn't popular yet, and a lot of folks still aren't going out for stuff like this. The comedy room is pretty small. It's awesome for those who prefer to watch comedians in a more intimate setting as opposed to large rooms. I would have preferred better seating-- it felt "cheap" compared to the rest of the place. The actual restaurant/bar was classy, and they have a downstairs (Speakeasy) spot for get-togethers and such which is really nice, as well, and it's great for hanging out with friends, and the comedians (definite perk). 4 Comedians took the stage, including TK, himself, and we really liked all but one. All of them really engaged the audience which made it a lot more fun-- thus why the intimate setting is a huge plus, to me. But the real surprise, and I'm not kidding, it surprised the hell out of me... was the Filet and garlic fries. Seriously, lose the mashed potatoes and asparagus and pair their Filet (mine was a perfect Medium) with those fries! I was not expecting a meal that good at a comedy club. Came here for a comedy show and arrived early. I sat at a busy bar and the bar tender was so busy she didn't see me. TK the owner walked up and asked me if I had been helped yet. I told him I hadn't. He then checked my ticket and gave me a wrist band for later. He then went to the bar tender and made sure she knew I was there and what I wanted. He came to check on me at least 4 more times until I had my drink. The bar tender was extremely busy with big orders.
