Last time here,sometime in 2018 not memorable enough to remember exact dates but, I ordered A large half cheese and half pepperoni extra cheese. I think they may have run outta cheese making my pizza.There wasn't enough cheese and I swore to never come back. Sauce tasted horrible and crust was too crisp.. burnt to be exact and they still handed it to me like it was good enough. I get it.. perfection takes time, fast forward to March 2020, this time around I was almost impressed with the staff and their cordiality, the taste of the pizza and the presentation. This Pizza was tasty and crust was crisp Chicken was not chewy and cooked perfectly. I didnt eat it all , (I ordered a medium) and before I left I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza with tomatoes and olives to give it a try.. The cashiers are always polite and nice and the food always looks good, but... I don't know what they put in the sauce but it has so much sugar and some spice (nutmeg?) that it could be in a pumpkin pie. It really detracts from the other flavors of the pizza. Ive tried the pizza three times and the best one was the Mediterranean, which if you can get past the sauce is pretty good. Unless you're an absolute cheese fiend I'd order 'light cheese.' Two of the three time the crusts were soggy in the middle like they weren't cocked all the way through :/ No diners or workers wear masks, and the workers dont wear hairnets or gloves which is something to think about before you order. read more

A few of the people that I'm working with at the California state prison have raved about this place. But tonight I'm so annoyed after my 13 hour shift I decided to stop by and order some wings nothing crazy. Upon eating my chicken I came across a few pieces of chicken feathers on my wings. Usually if it's one I wouldn't have really cared but about 8 is beyond nasty I'll never eat here again. Got food poisoning!!!! Visited Tehachapi over the weekend to attend their Apple Festival and decided to stop here to avoid "festival" food. Not familiar with Tehachapi or their restaurants, I opened Yelp and TK sounded good with overall good reviews. I should have read more into detail on the reviews. I order their strawberry walnut salad with chicken. I soon realized (like previous reviews) that their chicken was UNDERCOOKED. It was too late. Within two hours and on our way back towards Bakersfield, I was extremely uncomfortable with extreme stomach pain. I have spend the last 24hrs in bed. I didn't eat anything else prior to this besides a cup of coffee from Starbucks hours before. I would not recommend eating here. I struggled between rating the establishment a three and a four. I moved here about a year ago from Huntington Beach California and the food in Orange County is pretty exceptional. It's hard to find comparable meals in this small town. But I have eaten here somewhere around a dozen times without exaggeration. I have eaten inside twice and the rest of the times picked up and brought it home. The spaghetti, meatballs, salads, garlic, bread, and chicken leave a lot to be desired. But the pizza is pretty good. Ultimately I gave it to four because pizza is in the name of the restaurant and that's their strongest product. We came here on a whim after we were unable to get lunch at another place. The parking lot was fairly empty at 11:45am, but that lasted all of 5 minutes. By noon this place was packed! Clearly a local favorite. The service was great; everyone was super nice and friendly. We put in our order online for lunch, which was very convenient. The online portal said it was a 45 minute wait, but the staff assured us it would only be 10-15 minutes after we arrived, and they were spot on. We had our food 20 minutes after placing the order. Only draw back to online ordering is I did not see a way to order drinks. We got a pepperoni pizza, fried green beans, and sweet potato fries. Everything was good, and the pizza wasn't too greasy which was really nice. We got our food to go and everything was packaged really well. When my husband and I entered, we were blasted with the loud sound of heavy metal music! It was horribly noisy! We wanted to leave but decided to stay since we were hungry and heard their pizza was great! We found it to be a bit crazy inside, with children yelling and running all over the place! Super crowded and chaotic both inside and out and the tables were not cleaned. Empty dirty plates and cups left on tables. Yuck! With that being said,the pizza was terrific! Nothing positive to say. This place is an embarrassment to pizza, pasta, and your high risk and elderly grandparents . Masks are not enforced here at all. The cooks were wearing masks below their nose and the lady who took our order wore hers below her chin, mouth exposed. Music was stupidly loud, you could barely hear anything else, let alone the person taking your order. Food came out fast, but it wasn't good. The fettuccini tasted like water despite the amount of cheese they put on it. The barbecue chicken pizza had the thinnest crust i've ever seen but it had so much toppings on it that you couldn't taste anything, it felt blank. The salad came in a small bowl and unmixed, lettuce at the bottom and toppings on the top overflowing. We had to put it on a plate to mix it. the spaghetti however, tasted like something you would feed to a preschooler. The marinara sauce was very watery and chunky, more so than any decent sauce you'd ever get. The lady who brought our food to us was the one with their mask below the chin. Breathing over the food. The weirdest thing however was that the plate it was on was burning hot so they put a plate under it instead of just switching the plate. The spaghetti and the sauce weren't consistent with temperature. Some parts were lukewarm and others slightly warm, which doesn't make sense considering the temperature of the plate. If you sit outside they have you put your food trash and other trash into a trash can and separate your dishes and cups. This wouldn't be so bad if they secured the trash bag in place. The darn thing came off. Prices for everything should be a lot lower than they actually are considering how shit the food and experience once. Do yourself a favor and skip this place while looking for a place to eat. read more

My wife was Finished eating by the time they brought my 10 inch pizza with no toppings on it. I don't know anything really about running a restaurant business but I should think that they would find a way to triage orders as they come in. I was so angry about waiting 45 minutes for a little pizza with no toppings that I just took it to go as soon as It came to the table. A relatively old guy like me remembers when restaurants understood how to make the service work for each particular demographic of customer. Although my wife's anti-pasta salad was fine, I can't really say the same about the pizza. Very thick crust should be seen as toxic to your body granted all we have learned about how the body processes carbohydrate. My son Dominic took his mom and I for the first time to "TK." We ordered a large pizza with everything on it a "IPA" beer for me. That was the "BEST PIZZA" we have ever had. We have eaten pizza's from Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside County and City of Merced, and none even comes close to "TK's". The beers are just as good.
