This is my family's favorite pizza place! We don't even live in Tehachapi, but we make the drive about once a month just to eat here! They have indoor and patio seating. The outdoor area does include heating elements to keep you warm in the cool Tehachapi air. The tables inside are huge, so you can bring a group and all sit together. As an added plus, the outdoor seating does allow for you to bring your pooch! There are a couple arcade games - not enough to say it has an arcade, but enough to keep the kids entertained for a while. They also have several TVs showing various sporting events. If you come here, you have to try the pastrami pizza! It has mustard instead of pizza sauce and its topped with pastrami and pickles! Definitely unique, but I absolutely love it! They also have plenty of salads, fried appetizers, and pastas to try. We love the mozzarella sticks and fried green beans. The sodas, plates, etc., are self serve which is nice because you can help yourself instead of waiting on staff to come around to fill drinks. This allows them to focus more on getting orders right and out quickly. I recommend this place to people all the time! 10/10 stars! read more

She explained their menu very nicely. I had a vegetarian pizza with artichokes and sausage as add ins. My husband tried the pastrami sandwich. The pizza was nothing to write home about, and the sandwich was not up to par. That was disappointing. The seating - well, the chair seats are metal so bring a pillow. I came to TK's with my mom and stepdad on a Friday night during baseball season and football pre-season. This is a sports bar type place. So pizza + sports x Friday night = a busy restaurant. At least busy for a restaurant in Tehachapi, CA. There were a lot of people but it was not completely packed. Just packed enough to take a little while for our pizza to bake. We ordered an extra large supreme pizza. Other's smaller pizzas came out quicker. But when ours did come out, I could see why. There was a lot of stuff on this pie. A hefty amount of cheese. Pepperoni, ham, olives and mushrooms. Even tomatoes. The crust was charred and slightly chewy. Nicely bubbled up around the edges. A good yeasty taste. It was delicious. The only complaint any of us had was that the bubbled up crust pushed all the toppings to the center of the pizza. We had to redistribute them a bit. We ordered an extra large pizza for just 3 of us. As you can imagine we had leftovers. Only a few slices though. It was so good fresh that we kept eating. The leftovers were not as good but still pretty good. A quick reheat in the microwave re-gooified the cheese. I needed to use a fork to usher the slices into my mouth. Just as I had done the night before. The prices are a little high here but the price and the quality reflect one another. Service is alright. Not overly attentive. The counter staff takes your order and somebody brings your food. This visit to TK's was a bummer. When we arrived there was only one person in line (you order at the counter then they bring out your food). Due to this you would think we would get our food relatively quick. Unfortunately, this was not the case and we ended up waiting for quite some time while they focused on delivery orders instead of the dine in orders. Several tables were marked reserved, fortunately, we were able to find a table in the corner by the exit. During the hour we were there the reserve tables sat empty and the lunch crowd had extreme problems finding seating. After spending some time looking for utensils, straws and napkins, we ended up having to ask for all three at the counter. I love fountain drinks, but was taken back by how dirty the machine was. Getting down to brass taxes. The fried pickles and ranch were awesome, but the pizzas, fries and calzone were totally not worth the price. There was not enough sauce on the pizzas or calzones making the crust very dry. The chicken on the hubs' pizza was so dry it was picked off and ate around. As for the fries, they were really soggy and the topping did not stay on them. We used the left over ranch to dip everything in which, as ranch does, made everything better. Next time we are in Tehachapi we will be trying a different joint. Happy eating Yelpers! read more

We ordered the spicy fried cauliflower. It was piping hot and quite tasty. We also ordered an extra-large meat lovers pizza. It was okay. Unfortunately, most of the toppings were in the middle 2/3 of the pie, so the other area was dry. With all of the toppings where they were, the crust was flaccid. (I, myself, am not fond of anything flaccid.) The next time I go, I will ask for the crust to be well done. I have had the same experience with other pizzas from here. My husband had the orange Poptart beer and he absolutely loved it! I had the Campfire beer and it was delightful. We will definitely come back for beer. read more

This was a great find on our road trip back home! It feels like a great and homey restaurant that is often frequented by both locals and tourists alike. The food comes out fairly quickly after you order, and it is PIPING HOT! They also have a great selection of alcohol, so I also got a pineapple cider which was very tasty and refreshing alongside our meal. We ordered the fried green beans as appetizers based on our cashier's recommendation, and those were AMAZING, totally revolutionized my way of looking at green beans. They're basically the leaner, greener, healthier version of French fries (but yknow... still fried). We also got their black pepper chicken Alfredo pizza, and the lasagna. The pizza was a large but it fed 4 people quite easily! The flavor was definitely unique but not heavy, and we enjoyed it as much as any other slice of hot piping oven-baked pizza.
