We love the Mulligan room the staff and service is great! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is layback.

We thought we would give them another chance, bad idea. All the orders were correct but the way it was prepared, good god. First of all the girl in the red shirt ringing up all the "to go" orders had a bad attitude. Then all the food was absolute garbage. All of our fries were undercooked and soggy. The pasta for the Alfredo was hardly cooked, the burgers patties were burnt hockey pucks, and the hamburger buns were also hard as a rock because it was left in the toaster too long. Most of the food was hardly edible, not even our dogs would eat it. Horrible Mother's Day dinner, just horrible. No more Mulligan room for us, yuck. read more

We love this place. The food is always delicious and the ambience is cozy and warm with a great view of the golf course. We have always enjoyed their excellent staff, especially Ashley, as they are all very professional and bend over backwards to ensure a pleasant and perfect meal. Their selection of dishes is plentiful and their prices are exceptionally reasonable; especially with their generous portions. Last night I ordered my usual Friday evening Grilled Salmon, Baked Potato, and a giant and delicious bowl of their Clam Chowder; and everything was - PERFECT! My mother, my two boys and I came to eat lunch here and it was delicious. We chose to sit outside because it was such a beautiful day. The waitresses were kind and quick. They got our drink orders right away then gave us some time to look at the menu. My mom and I shared the French dip sandwich with French fries and my boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and cheeseburger with fries. Everything was tasty. The beef in my French dip was so good. My mom and I both enjoyed it. The quesadilla was packed with chicken and my son loved it. The cheeseburger was really good too and my youngest said he would order it again next time we stopped by. Yes! Home cooked joy, right here! They have a fabulous outdoor covered patio dining area. There is fresh air and beautiful views of this open, airy diner. Our breakfast was incredible! We had the "twozies" with 2 eggs, 2 bacon or sausage, a toast or pancake, hash browns or country potatoes. For $10?? How do they do it? So great, huge portions, amazing taste and super reasonable. You can't get in here unless you own property here or know someone who does that can get you in here. Drove here based on good yelp reviews only to find out it was a gated community and gate attendant could not let us in. Upset to have wasted my time driving there but more disappointing is they don't publish on their website or tell that they are a gated community. No surprise, we weren't the first people she has had to turn away and it was frustrating for her as well to have to be the one to turn us away because they don't publish the fact that they are a gated community and the general public is not welcome to eat at their establishment. read more

Chorizo scramble! Overlooking a green putting spot and scenic mountain views, all that needs to happen now is an elk crossing the path, and it would be perfect. I went there for the first time since living here, and I enjoyed it! We sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed watching the squirrels attempt to steal french fries from the trash. We could have done without the lawn mower, but everyone just talked through it until he was done. I picked an easy choice this time--BLT--and it was delicious. The Mulligan Room is nestled in the Bear Valley Springs community. They have a lot of variety on their menus and mostly really good prices. The food tastes fresh and has a homemade flavor. Their burgers are a particular favorite of mine as they are thick and juicy. I have never had a bad meal there. The decor is somewhat dated inside so if the weather is favorable, I prefer to eat outdoors where I can take in the fresh air and beautiful views of the golf course and mountains. They do have a fireplace which makes the indoor dining area toasty and cozy in the colder months. The employees are friendly and attentive but I've had slow service on occasion. They offer take out, which is very prompt and always accurate. If you're in the area, you should certainly given them a try. Like me, you'll probably be back often. read more

My step mom is a huge fan of this place so we were excited to have a family dinner here while my recent visit to Tehachapi. We were a table of 8. The staff is very friendly and smile a lot . I can see why she loves that , it's nice . But they are unorganized. Our food took an hour and 15 minutes . After an hour they finally brought out 1 salad . The other 3 took about 15 minutes more . So I got to stare at my niece eat her salad , while I was starving . Luckily we are all happy to see each other so that passed the time . But it was ridiculous. I had the fried chicken with vegetables and a baked potato. It was not bad . The chicken was a bit over cooked tho . Next time we are in town I will gladly go here because my step mom loves it here . We bought a place here in March. We have been exploring our new area and absolutely love Bear Valley Springs. We specifically love the Mulligan Room. Breakfast is delicious and we love the biscuits and gravy. Lunch is well priced, food is good and many choices are offered. Dinner is great too! Previous review was 5 star & hugely complimentary I'm not really that obsessed with Mushroom sauce but the first time was crave worthy but now it is consistently bad. Today i messed my specials calender up and thought it was "yesterday" so when i sat I thought i knew what I was going to order. I asked Beth if the mushroom sauce was good or split, message from the kitchen was good at the moment!. When i ordered the pork I asked for extra sauce on the side. When the food was ran , no sauce on side, Beth went to get it and returned with a quarter filled ramekin of melted butter with a message, you can have this but if you want more, they'll have to charge. My response was, that is not a sauce, that's scraps of split sauce, which she conceded, it was. My pork was not coated with any sauce, it was wet with the improperly drained broccoli. Food was OK and resonably priced. I know the plan is to double the size of the Mulligan room, this should be the time to work on food consistency and build a portfolio of regulars antisipating a lar9ger space to fill. Had another great meal at the Mullie Room today. I had a monster burger with a little bit of everything they had in the kitchen hold the Bun and a croutonless salad. Server was Sadie and the new trainee was Chloe who happened to be on her first day as a M.R. rookie. Both Sadie and Chloe did a great job staying on top of things on what looked to be a very busy day inside and outside. Is great to see people back to work! Feels more normal! However, since Covid some of their items the portions have shrunk even though the dollar amount has gone up a couple bucks well others like when they have a special they gave you a generous sized portion. I would like to see them expand the menu again to more than just burgers fries and pizza. They used to have healthy options like vegan Asian tacos, pastas and meatloaf stay on the menu all the time The pancakes used to be the most fabulous fluffy buttery pancake that you could ever want and they're not as good anymore more like IHOP pancakes. After a minute all three of us said bland flavor. Asked for more dressing and it appeared to be mayonnaise. We the. Asked for for sauce and had to ask for rice vinegar. Mixed the 3 and kinda ok. My wife, daughter, and I recently moved to Bear Valley, about 2-3 months ago. During our first visit to the Mulligan Room, our waitress Ashley, decided to banter about a club member and sharing him with another waitress. Which my family and I thought was very unprofessional and ludicrous, especially considering how I noticed she was wearing a wedding ring. The second and last time we will ever go there, was when the same waitress Ashley was very passive aggressive towards my wife and daughter about sitting on the patio. I'm not understanding how we moved out here to accommodate a beautiful life, yet a Mulligan Room would hire such a person to work in a well known establishment. Wish we would've done more research before moving out there. I hope nobody else gets this same treatment we've endured. My 10 year daughter shouldn't have experienced this behavior. First the room was very noisy. Then our food took over 45 minutes to get after we ordered. I had the fish and chips. The fish was barely warm. Waitress never asked us how our food was. Our party of six had the first two served, then in a few minutes, the next couple and five minutes later the last couple. When the bill came I had to ask for a pen to sign it.
