Well totally not my experience. I was greeted IMMEDIATELY & directed to sign in on the kiosk and pick my color .Then I was to go sit..a very professional woman did my nails , exactly as I requested. She even suggested a different color then i originally wanted & it looked great.. the lady who took my payment was super friendly & welcomed me to come back . the place is HUGE,clean & had many staff available to service u..I had zero issues . I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. I came in for a simple nail repair. When I walked in, the receptionist was on the phone, but I clearly stated that I needed a nail repair. Shortly after, a white woman and her daughter came in requesting a pedicure for the mother and acrylic tips for the daughter. They were immediately helped. When I asked why they were being taken before me, I was told that all of the technicians who do acrylic were with clients. However, while I was still waiting, another white woman and her daughter came in requesting a polish change and a fill-in -- and they were also taken before me. At that point, it became clear that I was being overlooked. I decided to leave. Only then did one of the technicians offer to fix my nail, and another receptionist apologized. The original receptionist who told me no one was available said nothing. There were Black women in the salon receiving services, so clearly money is accepted from everyone -- but my experience made me feel invisible and dismissed. Being passed over multiple times, while being told something that was clearly not true, felt discriminatory and disrespectful. This company has disappointed me again. Every single time I come in here they have messed up on either my nails my appointment time and I asked for the simplest things such as a French tip. For a nail place that's been in business for a good amount of time people should know how to do a regular French tip. Service was horrible, I asked for gel polish change and was charged $50 for a pedicure and a additional fee of $15 for "extra gel" which I did not ask for and the polish they did doesn't even look like gel, looks like it has no top coat. I asked for a french tip color change on my fingernails they decided to do a french tip manicure. the tips on my nails are uneven and ugly and my total ended up being $105 for something i don't even like. 2 weeks later 3 of my nails are broken, this hasn't been an issue you for me all year all of a sudden i come to them now my nails are thin and look horrible! read more

Came here in a pinch at the suggestion of my mother-in-law who had a pretty french manicure that she said was a month old. When realizing I had a commitment and was in desperate need of a pedicure I came here and left relatively satisfied. I was serviced immediately, my tech was friendly and efficient. I'm never a fan of nail establishments that don't open open fresh set of sanitized tools in front of the customer, but again, I came in here in a pinch since my normal place was booked and deep into Richmond. The next week, which was today, I realized that while I thought I'd be okay not having my nails done for NYE, that I did indeed want at minimum a quick gel mani, so I came here. Let's just say. I should have saved my $40 ($35 + tip) and did them myself. Very messy application, but for the price and time constraints I accepted it because this really is a churn and burn place. They work quickly to get you in and out. It's not where you come for detailed, precise work. It's where you come when you didn't prepare in advance by getting an appointment at your usual spot, so needing something to get you by. Came here for a manicure. Yes I am a man, yet everyone acts like no men come in here. I still didn't judge the reactions. Was taken to an older woman and I can't recall her name. After half way through I was kind of on edge which should not be the case. The more the lady cut from my nails, cuticles, etc it got more and more painful. This was absolutely rushed. My hands were in COLD water no more that ten seconds before she dug in. (Let me start by saying this is not my first and I get them every other week or so. Not a new person rant. ) Tools were definitely not pulled from a sealed package in front of me because it was open in her hand when she sat down. Customers NEED to see that. This is not how manicures are done. There should be a standard across the board for all but I don't think that's the case. Again a basic manicure no gel,fillers, or polish. Clear polish doesn't even bother me. I'm a simple person. But don't get it all over my skin which she did. Today I came in again and asked for another manicure. I was asked if it was a gel and I said no. I got the hey I need a basic manicure. So I asked the lady by saying, "I don't want to sound like a snob but which person is your best? My intentions were to make an appointment if necessary. However the lady at the front desk says to she can't tell me that. There is a "rotation" So I told the receptionist or whatever she is called I will just leave than if that's the case. She had no problem with it and as I walked out she mumbled something about come back and do something. How about no thanks because you have a rotation to stick to.. Soooo this is my regular nail salon that I have been going to for a while now. I went in yesterday to get "Christmas nails" done. I showed the nail tech my inspo picture and she was like okay and started doing my fill in. When it came time to do the designs, she started to get a little flustered. Mind you, the design I chose was just a reference, it didn't need to look EXACTLY like the photo, but obviously I wanted them to look GOOD. Anyways, by the time she was "done" they looked like my 7 year old had done them... I was trying to be nice about it and I was, I simply requested that they be fixed and just painted a solid color instead... the nail tech was FURIOUS! She kept speaking loudly to the other nail techs (in a different language) IN FRONT OF ME, laughing, talking about I just didn't want to "pay for my nails"!! I was FLOORED! And she was super rude about fixing her MESS on MY NAILS! I had NO PROBLEM PAYING! If she would have just told me from the start that she couldn't do the designs, someone else could have instead of wasting my time and essentially the money I still had to pay ($50 for a fill in). I'm posting the inspo picture, what my nails looked like after she "tried" to do them, and then the final SOLID color I had no other choice but to end up with... these nails are for my family Christmas photos and I really wanted them done RIGHT! They do a good job on nails, however, they are a bit pricey and not really customer centric. It's more of a revolving door first in first out atmosphere. The consistency is not always the best. I have had more good experiences than bad here but there have been a few times my polish did not last for more than a few days or had imperfections I could not see until I was in the sunlight. read more

WORST PEDICURE I EVER GOT!!!! I was shopping at Publix and decided to try the nail shop next door. I just got a regular pedicure. i was a nail tech a few years ago so I know I have the easiest pedicure! No callouses or anything weird. The tech, Don, cut my nails uneven. He barely pushed and cut my cuticle. Did not polish edge of nail. I gave him a tip before finding out the price. My slip said $36 under that it said $2. When i asked at check out what the $2 was for, I was told it was for supplies. When do you ever pay extra for supplies and even if they want to charge the client for supplies it should be included in the price without the client seeing it!!! I'm currently sitting here and just got the worse pedi in my life! I was greeted immediately and I had literally 5 seconds to pick a color as I had just walked thru the door. The lady kept forcing me to get gel when I clearly didn't want it. She took me to a chair in the very back. Started the water and my feet weren't in the bowl 2 mins before she started working on my feet. Water still running. Barely luke warm. She didn't look at me. Offer me anything to drink or eat but the two women beside me got offered food. She did a quick scrub with the pumice stone quick scrub with the callus remover slight scrub on my legs and feet before rinsing and polishing. That was it! Still she hasn't said a word to me or looked my direction. She got up after polishing spoke to two other ladies and I knew she was talking about me cause they both looked directly at me. I got here at 352pm she was done at 425 and it's currently 452 and I'm still sitting here. She hasn't come over to check with me or even look my direction. She's scrolling on her phone. I now have to go home and scrub my own feet which I should have done from the start...great start to my birthday in 2 days it's currently 517 and I am still in this chair. People keep walking by looking at me but nobody has said a word! I AM PISSED!! I literally had to check my own toes and I finally got up to leave since the lady didn't come back. My socks snagged on my toes when putting them on. She started another pedi RIGHT BESIDE ME and still did not acknowledge me at all!! I noticed the other lady beside me received a book to look through to pick her pedicure which I did not get and I was also sitting there long enough to see that she also did not offer her anything to drink or eat. We arrived later in the day. Everything was rushed. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was great . The fill was not. After the acrylic application my nails looked like I they did when I just walked in. I asked the lady to fix a few nails & she was going back and forth about which nailed need a touch up. So I politely asked another nail tech to do my fill. After that everyone had an attitude. The Second Lady did a good Job but rushing. They were telling me the color I chose wouldn't look good because of the color of the powder acrylic and wanted me to change my color. I said no. They try to up-charge you when you ask for specific services and bully you into getting things you do not need or want to make more money. The customer service is horrible and the techs really don't do a good job with manicures, they only want to do acrylic and they are not even good at it. I come here for the convenience every now and then. It's a hit or miss really. Today, I actually had a good pedicure experience with Trisha. Toward the end of that service she asked if I wanted my nails done. I told her that I'd like to just get my cuticles trimmed. Well that cost me $20. I was expecting between $5-10, but they charge a full manicure cost for just cuticles. And she didn't even file my nails. When I got to the counter to pay and noticed the $20 on the ticket, I asked the girl at the counter and she said it's a manicure. Lol. I received a cuticle trim and a splash of cuticle oil for $20. No polish, scrub, etc. Not saying don't come here, just be aware of the prices. Don't assume. And keep your receipt! If anything happens to your nails, they will not fix without a receipt. read more

I was looking for a pedicure on a Sunday, and most places were not open, so I ended up here. TL actually has a good rating average on Google, so I chose to ignore Yelp's rating average. This place is huge and looks fairly nice. The customers vastly outnumbered the staff though. As I sat in my chair, I noticed how many people were walking in and sitting there, just waiting for an available person. This is when I began to notice how rushed my pedicure felt. The lady doing it was very nice; however, she quickly trimmed my nails and barely filed them. The edges were visibly jagged and crooked. Then she didn't like the nail polish I picked out because she thought it was too sheer, and I didn't really care. She went to pick another color which was not at all what I wanted, but at that point, I just really wanted to get out of there, so I went with it. On a positive note, the people working here were very pleasant, except for the girl taking payment at the front. She definitely gave the impression that she would rather be anywhere else. So the ambience in this salon is gorgeous! However, the customer service is lacking and the quality of work needs improvement. I've gone here 3 times now and have finally decided to never return. First of all they keep trying to up sale you. I picked a pedi package and multiple times the tech attempted to pressure me into a higher price pedicure that included the same stuff a cheaper pedi cost. Then my feet never got scrubbed properly. They offer wine and fruit which is cute. But only one of the 3 times I went did they offer it. The other times I had to say something. And when it was mentioned that the customer shouldn't have to ask, I was told that the customer needing to ask was an acceptable outcome to them. If you advertise a service the customer shouldn't need to remind you. Then the guy who did my nails complained about who did my nails before, which is a huge turn off to me. He states my nails were too thick and old. So then he filed them down paper thin. The very next day I broke a nail tip. The following week I broke two nail tips. Never have I had nails break like this. And to top it off, I was charged $85 for a fill! They said it's because my nails are long, which they are not and because he has to replace 3 nails, 2 of which he complained about so much and pressured me into letting him remove and replace, I only came in with one nail needing repair because I had lost the entire nail from hitting it hard on an object. I will say, yes my nails were older, but never did the tips of my nails break so easily. After spending almost $100 for a simple fill and basic design I feel it's unacceptable for me to keep losing the very tips of my nails. Ridiculous! I have only been to this nail salon twice and both times I have been disappointed. You really do get what you pay for. It is way cheaper than the place I usually go and I now see why. I came in for a simple black gel polish and my boyfriend just wanted a cleaning and file. Both of ours were questionable and just not up to par. I had to go back in for a second coat because I walked outside and could see my real nail right through the black. The lady ended up making them look even worse and rough by filing them and putting the second coat all sloppy. I didn't even get an apology for having to come back or anything. The lady even had the audacity to laugh in my face and get other technicians to come over and look at my nails. I just think you are better off going elsewhere. Something this simple shouldn't have been a problem. I asked for a refund, mostly for the rudeness and unprofessional attitudes. I was denied and told they would have to take the gel off. Went in for a pedicure but ended upgrading my service to a spa pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was awesome, great massage, my feet are soft and cleaned up great. The manicure on the other hand was not so great hence the 3 star rating. He did a good job but he cut my cuticles up pretty bad, that they sting every time I wash my hands or just get them wet. I would go back obviously because the pedicure was great but I won't be getting my hands done. I love their complementary grapes, strawberries and water. I got a full set and pedi. My pedi was good although online the coconut pedi come with a warm neck wrap, i did not get this service in the store, no big deal. My full set on the other was done poorly. It has not been 24hrs and the gel is lifting. Extremely annoyed, the technician was extremely rough and unprofessional. I decided to get regular polish because I'm only going to keep it on for a few days for Halloween And of course you know getting regular polish these days is like a sin if you choose not to get gel because they always push it for the up charge and because it's faster. I have been getting regular polish since I was younger and my nails have never looked like this. The reason why my nails look at lumpy an unfinished is because the technician let them air dry while I was getting my pedicure instead of placing me under the fan like I should have been. Been there 4 times. Each time gets worst than the time before. Have had 3 different nail techs. Le is the absolute best. The others I've had... horrible. Dip manicure... the tech kept telling me to pick another color after I picked white. Several back and forth before she gave up and then picked a different brand and shade of white. To take my previous dip off, she cut each nail down and then used a tip, digging under the layers and ripping the polish off. After 3 plus years of dip... this is the first time I've had someone take off my polish this way. My nails were sore and hurting after this. The tech kept complaining I was too tense and to relax... I kept telling her my nails were sore from her ripping the polish off before. She got angry. And then she kept nicking my finger. Money is the best nail tech I have ever had. I've never had nails this good. She makes my nails look like a million bucks. Reasonably priced for the quality you get. The salon is the cleanest I have seen in the area. And BEAUTIFUL. They have liners in the pedicure bowls as well. NOTE: tips are only in cash. Once I got to my home I realized that the nail polish on my toes we're completely spackled even though I did not put on shoes and let them dry for hours I also attempted to take the acrylic that was stuck on my fingers off this unfortunately broke my nails I came in the next day to get them fixed and she just cut them down. I am at day number three and I'll have to return because all of my nails have lifted I also was charged $100 for my basic pedicure and my full set manicure I am beyond pissed off and will never go back to this establishment again or so I thought. When I called and explained how upset I was the manager offered to fix the problem although this is already something that clearly cannot be fixed.I requested a refund and she said in the policy they do not give refunds if I don't like some thing I need to let them fix it. The lady that fixed my toe yelled at my mother when asked for assistance for a nail polish color that my sister in law asked her to get while she was getting her feet done. I had an nice experience going to TL Nails and Glamour spa. I love how my nails turned out. It is only day one, but everything looks very nice. Trisha was my technician, and she did a dip ombré. She was very attentive, the color and shape was flattering to my hand. The only small issue I have is that there was a tiny bit of blue from the previous gel nail polish I had on left and you can see just a piece of it. Other than that, I have no complaints so far. Today was my second visit to this nail salon, I had an appointment 2 weeks ago with Marisa and scheduled my fill in and pedicure for this morning at 0900. I walk in to the nail salon this morning at 0851 for my appointment and was told that my tech wasn't there yet, they then proceeded to call her in front of me and said she apologizes she'll be here at 0930, I say no problem they offer to let someone else start on my feet.. she ends up coming in at 0940 while I'm getting my feet painted and comes to me apologetic saying how sorry she is and that "it's traffic" I said it's fine because I was getting my feet done still but she was finishing up, she was like I'll take you when she's done I said ok. So she's finishing my feet and I see that Marisa, the person that I'm scheduled with to do my nails talking to someone else. I'm assuming she noticed me looking at her, she then walks over to me at 0957 and says my appointment is here so I have to take her maybe someone else can do your nails and I'll get you next time I said oh no just cancel me that's unprofessional.
