What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. My first visit - I had the chilaquiles and a latte. The chilaquiles were fantastic and very tasty. The foam on the latte was very thick and rich! I took friend there for brunch a few days later and tried one of the crepes -- it was a wheat crepe stuffed with portobello mushrooms and a delicious light tomato sauce. So tasty! I even bought some of the churritos that they have packaged by the cash register and they made an awesome snack. Great spot for lunch and brunch -- I hope to visit again on my next visit to CDMX!

I will say that the employees are super polite..and can't imagine them running after a customer because they did not tip enough. With that said, the man did go ahead to add 15% to my card as I was signing out, and I said it was fine because I was going to leave that much or more anyway, but they should not have assumed. The tofu was not plentiful enough, nor prepared all that well. Satisyfing enough, but again, overpriced. My wife got the Enfrijoladas (265 pesos), a dish with pink tortillas filled with plantains, coconut cheese and almonds, all sitting in a black bean sauce. The tastes I had were pretty solid, but lacked flavour depth and needed some spices to amp it up. All in all, not worth the hype, especially if you're looking for authentic vegan Mexican. There are many other places worth prioritizing in town.

The food came out fairly decently, but all at different times. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, but neither space is very big. The service was a little mixed; one waitress seemed to initially have a negative attitude, but then later was fine; the other waitress who helped us was more friendly; I'll chalk it up to the fact that it was a Sunday night one hour before closing.
