Festive atmosphere, super friendly service, great drinks & delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine! Probably the best $10 lunch menu combination platters in town!

Great Service all around, our favorite is lunch the lunch specials! Highly recommend the pork Chimichangas! Ambiance was welcoming and authentic.

It just wasn't appetizing. Service was slow but they were really nice and helpful.

not appetizing. Tbey didn't have any house made sauce.. Its not a knock on them but they just used a bottled hot sauce.. Service was slow but they were really nice.

Welp...... this was disappointing... let me begin by saying the outdoor patio area was quite cool compared to the scorching sun of the parking lot. The chairs were comfortable... when we first got to our seats, we were greeted with a bowl of stale chips and tasty salsa. Our waitress did not seem like she was wanting to be at work and she seemed quite miserable, and very annoyed. We were a party of 4. Two adults 2 young teens (12&13). We ordered Diet Pepsi, root beer and water. The soda was unfortunately extremely flat and watered down. One tasted like it was a combo of many types of sodas? And came with 3 ice pieces. Maybe it came from another table?? Could be... our waitress did seem frustrated with our thirst. It was 96 degrees, we were outside, and your salsa was hottttt! We placed our orders and were quite impressed with the vast menu. We all decided on fajitas. They come as an individual meal and family style double portions. My son and I split a double with steak and chicken. But unfortunately the chicken was not served with our order, but she did fix that and brought some out as we ate. Once the chicken came out, we could immediately tell something was not right. And we started to become anxious about potential food poisoning. The chicken was very blah... seemed like it was boiled? No color at all. And still floppy. It was shaved strips of unflavored anemic looking meat. The onions and peppers were good, the meals just lacked the fajita seering typically expected with the meal. The steak? Or dog food was not good. The shrimp in my daughters meal was overcooked and "tasted like rubber". We arrived for a late lunch, and left with horrific stomach aches. The fan at some points during our loooooog and dissatisfying meal started shaking violently and there was a high pitched whistle throughout our meal it was very annoying The only thing good about today's meal were the TOGO CONTAINERS. This place was much better in years past. But now. Not so much. We will not be back.

Oh yeah... Spicy Chicken chimichanga and Dos Burritos Supremos

The menu has changed, it grew even bigger. So many choices to choose from. Last time I was here I simply couldn't decide what I wanted off the old menu, so I asked if the cook would choose a dinner for me and so #23 was the chosen meal I got, which was delicious, but I cannot remember what it was called and unfortunately #23 on the new menu is not the same. I guess I should have tried it, but instead I ate #80 the chicken chimichanga lunch deal which included 1 soda for $7. The staff is so friendly here. We drive an hour just to dine here and have never been disappointed. They have outdoor seating and live music in the warmer weather days. Give it a try...they are so good here Just found out old #23 is now #39 and is called Pollo Con Rajas $14.99... it was fantastic too!

Loved this table. Can't wait to come back with a larger party and sit here

Was showing homes in the area and this place looked intriguing so we yelped it. Reviews looked good so we tried it. Yummy Yummy I had enchiladas And my client had the supreme quesadilla I brought a chicken fajita home for the hubs Everything was soooo good I can't wait to come back and eat again :) We enjoyed the tables and ambiance too

Cinco de Mayo, looking for a decent Mexican restaurant and stopped into this mid-1800's hotel converted into a Mexican restaurant. Outstanding fajita's, best margaritas, and excellent Salad Mexicanos. Great service, fine decorations, will definitely return for more, Soon!

So once again local flavor coupons led me to try another restaurant. This time Mexican-I So it's more like a 2.5 stars, but the service makes me go to a two. To be honest, I think my true love of Mexican food is more like a burrito bowl from well a well known chain ooor Cali Burrito. But occasionally I do like to hit up some tacos and such. The decor in here is pretty fun. I don't really judge restaurants based off this aspect, but it was definitely something for the eyes. Of course my Yelp partner in crime came with for today's visit. I was pretty excited at the complimentary chips and salsa we received, but I mean fresh (not stale) chips would've been nice. The condiments however were awesome. A salsa verde and a spicy vinegar like coleslaw, the latter being delicious! As for the meals, Kenisha went with something new, a chimichanga, and I decided on the chicken and shrimp fajitas (at $17 I wouldn't splurge but again.. The coupon) and an a la cart tamale because I've never had one before. I can't exactly review the tamale because I don't know what an authentic one is but it was just okay for me. It's nothing I would order again to be honest. The fajitas were very tasty, although the chicken was slightly salty and the greasiness of the dish had me very grateful I'd just spent the last hour at the gym. I was appreciative of the sides, but the refried beans definitely weren't the best I've had. As for service... There was basically no one else there, including our server. She disappeared for good chunks of time, but this wasn't a big deal because Kenisha and I always have plenty to talk about. I did find it annoying however that when I showed them my coupon they raised Kenisha's lunch special to regular price and then charged us for the drink it came with. Considering lunch portions are smaller I feel they should have comped the soda.. But whatever, that's just me maybe (Kenisha was a little annoyed too though). I suppose I might try again, especially during summer months when I can chill on their patio, but I'm in no rush to come back

Not a huge place, but it looks to have a separate seating area towards the front where they can open the windows and get some nice Weather to come inside based on their name of course we had to get a couple cocktails so we each got a margarita they were massive and reasonably priced since it was $.85 wing day we took advantage and tried five different types. Happy to see they are offering Bell and Evans, but the downside is they are extremely small wings, but very crispy and flavorful except for the roasted garlic option. Those were bland as can be, but my Chipotle Cinnamon, which is more of a dry rub were fantastic as were the Cajun Ranch which had sauce. The hot were not extremely hot and their special was a strawberry Sriracha, which were amazing. Super friendly waitress taking great care of us, but towards the end of our meal, she was cleaning and disappeared for a bit so we had to wait some time to get our bill. No problem, we are in no rush. I would gladly return time and time again to try some more menu items, a real gem in the middle of nowhere.

The interior dining area is relatively small and clean, though I would not recommend it for large gatherings. I thoroughly enjoyed the "get that corn outta my face" and was thankful to have the option for it in a bowl (otherwise I wouldn't have tried it.) it was a unique blend of flavors and textures that had me questioning the first bite or two, but the more I ate it, the more I liked it. (If you get the bowl, I recommend stirring it up first to evenly distribute the ingredients.) Service was prompt and courteous when they brought each of the meals to our table. This is a counter style establishment, so that was appreciated. The theme of the restaurant focuses on the Nacho Libre movie (menu items named after key movie points) and other movies focused on luchadores. It is unfortunate that the thumb wrestling rings never returned to the tables following Covid. This is a fun and laidback place to grab a quick bite. I love the quirky atmosphere and the delicious food. My recommendation would be to go during down times so you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere without the wait.
