Non-virgin to professional eyelash extensions now. Jill is a very sweet girl. Very friendly and prettier than the picture posted! (No offense!) I asked for the glam set and i'm glammy. She makes sure you're 110% happy with your lashes and i'm 115% happy! She also gives you a cleaning kit w/ instructions that comes in a cute organza bag :) The place is kind of hard to spot. Its a very low brown building right next to some type of auto place. Tires or something like Daniel Goodyear? I recommend Jill to get your lashes done professionally. She doesnt rush. Shes not sloppy. Shes amazing! I also saw her SUV that has lashes on the headlights. Very cool and unique. I would come back here if I ever want my lashes done. Unfortunately, it will only be for ultra special occasions. I'm Asian and... I got hidden monolids which means I have fat droopy eyelids that go over my lash line rendering these type of extensions pretty much useless. TLC, tender loving caring. Is that what the tlc stands for, because in my opinion it totally does I think I fell in love with Jill, and I don't fall in love easily. I 'researched' a bit before I made the jump to come here. And I'm so glad I found this place. I have to admit I was a little nervous because Jill's website is very professional, strict, and straight to the point. You have to book beforehand with your credit card information (I booked in November and she was at least 2.5-3 weeks booked already). Also, you HAVE to come in early if you want as much time with Jill. I have a very bad habit of being slightly late, but to this appointment I gave myself an hour leeway for my lagging ass. Made it ten minutes early, perfect :) Jill is a fricking tall, gorgeous bombshell sweetheart who is also super friendly and professional. I was expecting someone older because the tone of her site just seemed like it. She quickly guided me and I never felt pressured, Since my eyelashes are quite sparse and thin, though long enough, I started off with the starter set. Just noticeable is what I was seeking, nothing too dramatic. Quickly got comfortable on the chair thingy and then for a while talked about black friday shopping, thanksgiving, family, and why I'm getting extensions. Talked for a good amount; I was surprised because I'm more of a listener but something about Jill just made me want to keep talking. Finally I got really sleepy because of the christmas music and the tv in the background +one lash at a time. Jill seemed like a perfectionist +so relaxing and comfortable I fell asleep. Honestly such a good nap +while I napped she did her magic +I woke myself up because I slightly snored, I never snore wtf hahaa +it took an hour but seemed so much shorter +Jill said she added extra because I was so easy to lash up :) +at first eyelashes poked me a little and I wasn't used to it. Also a few of the lashes would kind of turn upside down and look kind of dumb. haha had to adjust a little +last very well/long. Still have most of them and it's almost been 3 weeks! +no one knows I have extensions on; that's how natural they look. But oh do they make a difference +/- I want to keep this place a secret because I'm sure she's getting booked quickly as is! Tip: have a breath mint or chew gum. My breath was kicking cause I tried to keep my mouth closed. I'm totally a mouth breather not a nose breather... hehe :) damn it, I think I'm going to have to be a loyal customer. You would totally miss this place just driving by... but once your inside it's a cozy location. Inside is super cute, CLEAN and welcoming. Yesterday I tried the new CryBaby Semi-Permanent Mascara. I'm a little anal about my lashes but I'm so happy to say the product didn't let me down :) It is suppose to last 2 weeks & it's waterproof. It's only day 2 so I'm in the trail in error period of this new product. I'm also a professional that offers similar services as Jill and I went to her to try this new product, I trusted in all her 5 star reviews and every one of them is right! I let her know I was trying it out to see if I wanted to offer this product to my clients as well. She was so helpful and really a true professional (hard too find now days). She insured my lashes were perfect and too my likely before I left. I arrived early and she took me before my appointment time.... I love when people are on time and don't make their clients wait. This was my first time getting lash extensions. At first I went somewhere else and I had the worst experience. The girl ran her business from her home and every lash she applied felt like sharp needles. She didn't give me what I asked for so I had her remove everything. I found Jill through Yelp. Judging by her website, she seemed very knowledgeable about lash extensions. She even had pictures of how lash extensions shouldn't look like. Jill was great when I first met her. I was even 20 min late and she still took me in. She is so nice, very easy to talk to and most importantly.. she was very gentle!!!! She runs her business out of a studio and everything was very professionally done. I will definitely go back for all of my touch-ups and even recommend her to all of my friends!!! I just got my lashes done by Jill last week. All I have to say is that I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee them! I used to get it done at 40lashes in Downtown Fullerton but it was just wayyy tooo pricey! This chick is straightup amazing. If you want to know why just read the other reviews. She let me know right up front what was possible with what I'm already workin' with and what was not insofar as eyelash extensions go. I appreciate the honesty as there's nothing worse than utter disappointment after you've been excited to get something done, I've had to pretend far too many other times with detailed pedicures and hairstyles. My friends had all given me little warnings beforehand, such as "it's going to sting." "It smells" etc... It didn't smell and I didn't feel a thing! My lashes look AMAZING! I know I'm about to be hooked on lashes like forever. She gets extra points for listening to me blab for over an hour and still managing to sound interested while doing exceptional work. She gets many extra points because for some reason my phone got loudly stuck on some horrendous Indian jam I have on there (Indian Thriller, y'all!!!) and it kept repeating and repeating for like 10 minutes and she did not throw it - or myself - out the window. Went here today and am very very happy with my results!! Jill is super nice and very girly so I knew I was in good hands!! Got the flirty set with a Yelp upgrade and now I have a full and luscious set of lashes! She operates out of the nail salon next to the Goodyear, there are a couple of nail salons on that street so make sure you are directly across the street from that adorable animal hospital! The bed was very comfy and not at all like those hard vinyl-covered slats at 40lashes!! I have hesitated getting lashes for a long time because I was in sooo much pain from lying on that super uncomfortable slat at 40 lashes for 2.5 hrs, but with JILL, I was very comfy (theres a nice pillow for your head too) AND she only took a little over an hour! Jill's spray tans are the best. No one can compare, seriously. I have tried others when she isnt available and always end up extremely disappointed. I know she gets busy so I will book out a month in advance now just to make sure I get sprayed by her. There are so many lash ladies out there, but Jill at TLC Lashes knows what she is doing and she does it well! Unless you know someone personally who can attest to the quality and credibility of a particular lash lady, it is pretty much a gamble to try someone new or unknown. For over a year, I was driving all the way to Irvine from north OC to get my lashes done by someone I was referred to and the service was okay, but once I discovered TLC Lashes, my life (and lashes) improved significantly. The location is much more convenient for me and it is a super cute, clean environment. From the moment I walked in, Jill was extremely friendly and helpful. Even though I had gotten lashes at other places before, she took the time to explain each step of the process in detail and she was willing to answer any questions I had. They last for about 4 weeks, but I have gone as long as 6 weeks before a touch up, and still looked good.
