I told her I do not rub my eyes and this had to be glue or something that happened during my refill. I told her please take them off. They took no accountability. I told them it was for my birthday. They gave me a refund but I am still very upset and my eye feels and looks horrible.

One constant issue with this place and their other locations is that they frequently move their lash techs. To continue seeing Hannah, I had to go to Pasadena, SGV, Brea, and Monterey Park (she's still amazing). When Hannah was sent to the Whittier location, I tried a new tech who cut my bottom lashes without telling me, was rude, and did a poor job on my new set. I discovered the cut lashes only after getting home and checking in a larger mirror. I never returned to SGV after that horrifying experience. I then found Serena at the SGV location after Hannah left. While Serena did decent work, she overcharged me every time. Recently, I went back 6 days after a refill because chunks of my lashes had fallen off. Despite asking her to use more glue, the lashes kept falling off easily. She tried to charge me $53 for a fix when I had paid $65 just 6 days earlier. Hannah always charged me reasonably. After making another appointment with Serene, I received a text saying she no longer wanted to do my lashes. I was always polite, even when Serene was late. I complimented her work and was flexible with appointment changes. I'm upset because I've been a loyal customer for so long, referred many people, and never complained, yet I feel there's no customer loyalty in return.

I wanted to write this review because I am so pleasantly surprised how adding eyelash extensions has made me feel about myself. I was scared at first, but making the initial try has been one of the best things I have done to enhance my looks. As I began to reach the age of a "senior citizen" I no longer felt attractive and just thought I was all washed up. By just adding eyelash extensions I now feel more youthful and more confident about the way I look and feel. The best part of all of this is " Estela" who is so kind and caring with her clients that you look forward to her working on you. I call her my Beauty Angel. I know that she takes pride in work by continuing to improve on her already expert background. I still wear make-up, but the time spent is no longer trying to get rid of the clumps of mascara that have accummulated between my already thin lashes. I get so many compliments now on my looks and how rested I appear. Estela is now moving towards a new product -using mink lashes which has the appearances of a real human lash. I am so excited about this because they are lighter and look even better. If you have any qualms abouth trying eyelash extensions just remember we are never too old to help ourselves feel and look better. Estela, doesn't look at this as just a job, but she looks at it as a work of art and we are her canvas. I just want to thank my "Beauty Angel" for using the best products. . read more

If you've never had eyelash extensions, you have got to do it. BUT you have to do it with Estela. She takes great pride in her work and wants you to be completely satisfied. Well, with her expertise its not hard. She has been doing my lashes for 8 mos and I absolutely love them. My eyes look fabulous all the time, with or without make-up. You'll wake up looking beautiful. You'll come out of the shower looking beautiful. The best part is.....the lashes are so soft and natural looking, like you were born with thick long beautiful lashes. No more raccoon eyes because you don't need mascara!! Love it. When they first opened up I came to check it out then bc of my real lashes falling out I stopped coming here and drove all the way to Newport Beach (Japanese studied techniques that help with lash regrowth) but do to the travel time I decided to give this place another try. Today was my 7th visit and I can't say things are better. They had my name down as someone else and after 6 visits of me mentioning this today was the day I decided I won't ever return. When I arrived she had me sit and wait for 15 mins. I had an appointment at 3pm. As you can see I'm typing this at 3:32pm so I didn't stay. She couldn't find my records and asked me to go through my phone to find a reminder text (which I delete things bc I need the memory on my phone) which at this point now I'm frustrated. I am unable to find it and I begin to look through my deleted messages when I stop and say wait I don't have it. I explain to her that every time I come on they call me by a different name and I've asked for that to be corrected (it never was) so she finally finds me and is telling me she has the records but at this point I'm not comfortable laying down for an hour with her working on me after 15 mins of arguing with me over if I've ever been there; shifting blame on others who didn't update my name; and all this happening while there are other patrons. Needless to say when she asked me if I want to do it or not (legitimately how she asked me) I decided to leave and this is the video I took as I was leaving because she snatched the cover on the bed I was laying on showing she was upset (all the while speaking in her native language under her breath which after translating she was saying: "How is this my fault ‍" To the owner Jasmin, Do Better!
