I used to go to lash ladies who hosted at their own apartment and they charge double what BeautyPlug charges... like what ? I've gone to Christine a handful of times and I love her customer service and the quality of her work is honestly worth more than what she charges. I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes where my eyes would stay red for days for the old lash ladies I used to go to. I eventually got scared to get lashes again. But Christine handles my lashes with so much care, I'm obsessed with doing my lashes with her now ! Another thing I love is that time flies by FAST. I can't fall asleep while doing lashes so it feels like a drag. Christine makes time go by because she's so funny and easy to talk to. Oh, also these lashes last PRETTY DANG LONG. The first time I did my lashes with her, it was right before going to Asia where it was HUMID and WINDY. And my lashes were intact and the same for the whole two weeks, bless. There are also water bottles and blankets for customers in case they get cold or thirsty. So considerate !! Honestly, Christine goes above and beyond for her clients. If you bring a friend or boyfriend with you, don't even worry. There's a couch and WiFi so they won't be bored. There's also a lot of parking which is convenient. I really hate writing bad reviews but with this I feel like I have to. I found Christine through the Sola Salons website and checked her instagram and liked her work so I made an appt last week on Monday 6/17. Christine was very sweet and started working on my lashes right away. I had old lashes on from another salon that I needed to be taken off and it took her maybe 2 mins to take them off because they were so old. My appointment was at 12 and I did not leave there until 3:00!! I understand lashes take a long time, I got volume so I know that usually takes about 2 hours, but 3 hours to me is insane. So upon finishing my eyes were burning really bad and my right eye would not stop watering. It felt like something was poking my eye. She assured me that nothing was there and it was probably my eyes being sensitive to the fumes. Ok whatever I've already been here 3 hours and I have to go to work I'll deal with it. My eyes felt irritated all night and when I woke up in the morning they were bloodshot and swollen. Not only that I could feel glue on my eyelids. I texted Christine in the morning and told her my concerns and she did not text me back until later that afternoon asking if I could come in so she could take a look at my lashes. I wasn't able to go in till the next morning so we agreed to meet on Wednesday 6/19 at 9am. She gave my lashes a "lash bath" and told me she would fix the lashes on the corners. Please tell me why I was there another 2 hours?! To fix the corner lashes?! I was so upset with my experience. Well here I am a week later and almost ALL of my lashes are completely off. Not only that, they are falling off in chunks. I feel like I wasted $110 bucks and needless to say I won't be back. So choose your lash gal wisely ladies. Pics attached. read more

I have gotten eyelash extensions three times before coming here and all experiences were horrible.Christine did my my lashes perfectly, it was beyond my imagination . This was my first time doing last extension which made me do a lot of researching and finding the right person to do my lashes. This was my first and enjoyable experience and it is nothing like what others described it. Christine is very knowledgeable and does the lash fast. Honestly the time went by so fast because she is so friendly and engages with her clients. It was so quick and painless and the result was amazing!!!! She gave suggestions and I'm glad I took her suggestions because I am in love with my lashes! Definitely going to come back and recommend her to my friends. I am probably the pickiest person when it comes to beauty investments. It's one of those things where if I decide to get something done, I want it done right and I want to LOVE it. I've been coveting extensions for a long time & doing A LOT of research. When I finally decided that I was ready to get them done, I moved on to looking for a lash tech whose technique I liked. After a month of searching and not really finding anything, I was seriously ready to give up, but then by chance I found BeautyPlug. I specifically wanted someone with a good wispy volume technique and Christine nailed it. I saw photos of her work and was like "THIS. IS. IT." Not only did she go over EVERYTHING with me, but she answered all of my questions. She was very patient and understanding. She taught me a lot of things I didn't know. And she's hilarious and easy to be around. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend the whole time. ... like for real, the girls got jokes! 15/10 would urge you to book an appointment with her. I'm posting an updated review about 2 months after going to this salon. If you care about your lashes at all, DO NOT GO HERE. Although the owner, Christine is nice, the quality of work is horrible. My first review was only written because she would ask me non stop to write one. I came to her about 3-4 times and each time I left I wasn't completely satisfied with the work. My lashes would either be to heavy, uneven, or on the occasion of my last visit, completely terrible. She didn't even give me a mirror to look at them after my appointment was over. My lashes were so uneven and the outer corner on my left eye was almost coming off and the picture attached is only 3 days after a fill, were you can clearly see how terrible they look. I went to get them removed (from someone else) 4 days after my fill and she had such a hard time removing them because of the amount of glue that was on them. When I texted Christine to ask for a refund because I was so unhappy with my product, she basically told me that she wouldn't and my lashes looked the way they did because of me and I didn't take care of them or clean them. This was not my first time getting lashes and I have never had this happen to me. Again, if you want your natural lashes to not be ruined, don't go here. read more

I scheduled my appointment the first time 2 weeks ago on Thursday March 28th I got there on time , I waited about 20 mins I decided to call her to see what was happening, well she had another appointment at the same time but never called to tell me she was running ning late or to apologize for her mistake , so she rescheduled me for today at 9am again , she never showed up , never called I waited 30 mins for her and nothing !!! After having a bad experience with lash extensions a year ago, I was hesitant to try them again. I searched through Sola Salons and found Beauty Plug Salon. I contacted Christine. She answered all of my questions and quickly worked with my schedule. I told her about my first eye irritation at a different salon so she was nice enough to sample her sensitive glue on me before my full set appointment. My eyes had no bad reaction to her glue. I came in for my Cat-eye volume set appointment the next day and her service was lovely. She put me at ease because she took her time to customize my set of lashes and she was so informative throughout the entire process. I came here a few months ago. Recommend by someone. She was a few minutes late to my appointment. I asked for light volume wispy cat eye. After like 2hrs+ she finished and I looked at myself and did not look like me. My lashes almost touched my my eyebrows. I've been getting my lashes done for about 2 yrs and this was a bit too heavy for me. Not sure if the curl or length was the problem or maybe she was just learning and did not know how to mix them and make it look good. I told her I did not like it and if she could remove some of the fans. She said she would need to remove the whole thing, which to me looked like it was all the same size from inner eye to outer. I told her I would come the next day to remove them. She said she shouldn't charge me to remove my lashes, and would do a new set for $110. I was shocked, since I just had paid for a new set, that i did not like. I believe as a paying customer she should of been able to fix it at no additional cost. So I came back the following day. When she finished removing them, I told her that I was not getting a new set. The removal process burned my eyes by the way and has never happened before. She insisted I get a new set with her, but at this point I was upset about the whole situation of having to pay again the next day for a new set. So I said no, Christine then proceded to tell me that she would do the new set for $60. Like now went from $110 to $60. I said no and left, she did say the offer of $60 was there If I came back. At least she didn't charge for the removal. Never came back! I felt like the whole thing was wrong. read more

My first time getting lash extensions has scarred me until I went to Christine. Because I was so traumatized, she suggested I start with a lash lift first then maybe decide later on when I'm ready to get extensions. Lash lift is like life changing. It makes me feel like I am ready without putting on makeup. Christine was so sweet and when I finally decided to get lash extensions, I wanted the natural lash look instead of the full on lashes. Those lashes stayed on so well. When I take off my makeup, I pretty much scrub the crap out my face but the lashes didn't budge. I definitely recommend coming here. I found their account on Instagram and requested an appointment with them for a full set of volume lashes with a removal of my old set. In total it was 110$ for the set and 15$ for removal, the girl was sweet and nice but after I got my set done and they were itchy I ignored it my mistake for doing so, I woke up the next morning with the top of my eyelids swollen and the bottom of the inside of my eyes bloodshot red and irritated. I texted i believe it was Christine about it and let her know and sent her a picture she asked me to come in to see what she can do. I get there and she gives me a lash bath says that'll help and that if it worsens to let her know. Later on in the day I let her know it hasn't gotten better and asked if I can get a removal for them and at what time, she didn't respond to me til the next day, by then I already got my lashes removed by a different tech and she let me know that the glue was too close to my skin and that some of the lashes were actually glued on to my skin that's why I had gotten irritated, plus the removal took an hour because of the glue. I let her know and asked for a refund not on the whole set but something partially for the reaction I had. She said no they can only give me another set and then she left me on read and blocked me through text so I couldn't message her. Be careful where and who you get your lashes done by. read more

She did an amazing job on my lashes & even asked if I wanted her to "va voom" my lashes for free because we had time!
