Every question I asked, they answered "don't know, but we need your information...". Also, they don't do some compression

Just visited a couple of times this week, once on Monday, and then again on Friday to help alleviate some serious shoulder/neck pain. For context: I just randomly woke up one day with a crazy kink in my left shoulder/neck. I could barely move my neck around without a stabbing discomfort in my left shoulder. I tried to endure it for a couple of weeks to see if it'd go away on its own but eventually, I decided to see a doctor and compared between orthopedists and chiropractors. I concluded it wasn't too serious so went with the chiropractor option and found good reviews on TLC, so alright back to the chiropractor! Both visits were very pleasant. It was my first visit so I got all signed up (actually messaged on Yelp the day before because I wanted to go asap, and they quickly helped me make an appointment for the following day, very nice), and the wait time wasn't very long for both visits. Dr. Chau was very thorough and examined me while asking questions about the pain, and then the other people give you heating pads and a very relieving massage. Finally, Dr. Chau does his chiropractor things and cracked my neck and back (try your best to relax), and showed me some stretches that I've been trying to do every morning now. So all in all, a great chiropractor business! Just to add a disclaimer for other people's information, don't expect a chiropractor to solve all your problems. You have to take care of yourself, too, on a daily basis. For me personally, my pain was not permanently resolved, as the next morning I still woke up with some pain, because guess what, my pillow was not supporting my neck. So that's on me to find the right pillow, which my purple pillow just arrived today so hoping that works out, but I will say the pain did subside more and more throughout the week after my first visit. Partly I'm sure from the chiropractor, and partly I think because every night I used a rolled-up towel to sleep on a bit before sleeping on my normal pillow to help the curvature of my neck/spine, which is actually another recommendation from Dr. Chau. My husband went to TLC after a car accident. He suggested that I go when I started having back pain. I was a walk-in. The office staff was able to take me in, were friendly and helpful. I was taken into a room, had an assessment done and laid down with cold packs on my back. Dr. Tommy Chau was my doctor, who was able to pin point where the pain was coming from and did everything to make me feel better. While adjusting me, he kept asking how I felt to ensure that the pain was decreasing and that I was comfortable. The pain instantly decrease by half by the time he was done. Let me start by saying I've never seen a chiropractor before, Ive been suffering from random back and neck issues for almost 20yrs, I decided to call tlc after reading their reviews. Front desk was very helpful, I have Kaiser and Lori researched and found my policy covered with a copay. Doc tommy saw me right away he took his time was very informative explained eveyintghing he was doing and why. After the initial visit and adjustment I felt better. I found this office on Christmas Eve morning by chance (and luck!) Because I threw out my back Saturday afternoon and had to wait for offices to open on Monday. Two days passed of me laying on the floor and finally Monday morning I messaged through Yelp to see if they were open and received an almost immediate response that I could come in. Dr. Ryan Truong knew exactly what had happened and started treating me right away. After some icing and adjustments I felt SO much better. I was able to walk on my own and didn't have sharp pains from small movements anymore. On top of that he has a fantastic way of getting you comfortable and laughing in an otherwise crap situation! Dr. Ryan was the one that helped me out. He eased you in by making jokes but he was also very detailed about the pain so he can pin point what is it that i have. First session went very well, he corrected my bones and joints. I was referred out to have an MRI done so they know for sure what's wrong with it. This was the first spot that worked for me when looking into a lifting injury. The other offices I called referred me elsewhere or turned me away because they didn't specialize in minor lifting injury. TLC was very convenient and flexible with my schedule and was able to see me Immediately. Once I arrived for my initial appointment Dr. Kent sat me down to identified my injury and the cause. Highly recommended place! It's my first time to try chiropractic services ever, I am glad a had my first experience here. Questionnaire and interview are pretty thorough (important to not leave things out from your history), place is clean, the patient room is super informative with all its posters and diagrams. Procedures are explained well and in detail, performed procedures that were discussed. Doc is attentive and takes time to educate, to me that is important. Dr. Tommy Chau helped me out, my pain is slowly subsiding. One thing to improve... maybe the front office staff could smile more? Introduce their names? Say hi first when patient comes in and bye when leaving the office? and more importantly let patient know what you're gonna do first before doing it, especially when patients are face down and can't see you. My mom was having the worst sciatica flare up and her family doctor just wasn't helping. After some research, I found TLC Chiropractic and it was the best decision ever. Dr. O was really nice and explained everything that he was about to do and what my mom's condition is like, and when he started to adjust her spine, she felt relief immediately! First time here at TLC Chiropractic. The front girls were very friendly and greeted me upon arrival. The office is very clean. Dr. Chau & Dr. Andrew Cheng helped me, they were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I've been having pain for the longest time due to slouching and they knew exactly what to do to make me feel better right away. After the initial assessment, they did heat therapy for 15min followed by another massage from the assistant. Then came the cracking haha.
