I should start off by saying that I have experienced a wide array of chiropractic care all throughout Northern and Southern California. This experience provides me the ability to make a solid, unbiased review of TLC Chiropractic. I was seen by Dr. Chau to help adjust my lower and upper back issues. After waiting about 30 minutes after my appointment time (it was my first time there so paperwork took most of that time & it was busy), I began some PT, mainly just heat therapy and a massage to loosen up the muscles. Dr. Chau made sure to apologize to me about the wait time and ensured me that the physiological problems that I came in with today would end before the session was over. He was right. As for Dr. Chau, he was an amazing D.C and even a better person. He shared with me his life upbringings and a vast amount of knowledge about biology and anatomy (I told him I was a health science major). I came here on a Saturday by recommendation of my brother who visited this location in 2012. The doctors and staff here give exceptional service. We came here for an auto accident injury and our first visit was very thorough. Dr Kent was very helpful in helping us figure out a treatment plan and figuring out what would help us get better. Dr Ryan is great at making you feel comfortable and have a fun time while dealing with the pain. After the first session I immediately felt renewed and re-energized. Would 100% recommended. After getting my muscles relaxed by electrical stimulation and a massage by the staff, Dr.Chau and Dr. Cheng did my spinal adjustment. It was great and I feel 100% better then when I first walked in. I had lower back pain and some muscle stiffness and now that's all gone. Highly recommend!! Dr Tommy Chau took my pain away. For the last couple of weeks I had acute pain in my thoracic area of the spine. All left side of my back was in extreme pain. I couldn't bend, twist, turn, it hurt when I was sitting, laying down, I couldn't even breathe without suffering from pain. I stretched, used balms, waited, and it would get a bit better but then again got even worse. I understood it was probably something more then just stuff pulled muscle. So I scheduled an appointment next day. I was treated by Dr. Tommy Chau and he right away told me where I have problems, and it was straight in the aim. Not only he told me where the problem is that was hurting me, but also in my neck and lower back. He did his magic very professionally and asked me if I feel any better. As I was in pain for two weeks, my muscles got very stiff so I didn't feel the relief right away. And I understood it'll no just magically disappear on the spot. But that night I slept well and in the morning I was pain free and it was such a good feeling! I was skeptical about the adjustment because a few times before (even with the course of 14 adjustments) I didn't get any results, but I was desperate so I went to a different clinic this time and I can't be happier I did. Dr Tommy Chau is amazing and I will go see him for my adjustments regularly from now on. I was also paying out of pocket (bc I have a crappy insurance) and it was less then I would pay for my co-payment. Highly recommend!!! read more

I had a bad tension headache a couple weeks ago and it was the worst feeling ever. I was looking up local chiropractic places then TLC messaged me saying they were able to take me in right away. When I came in for the first time I was a little nervous because I've never been to a chiropractor before. He is very knowledgeable in his craft and was able to tell what was wrong with me just by palpating my body. I went to TLC Chiropractic today for the first time to be evaluated for a lower back and sciatica problem that was recently aggravated. I was seen by Dr. Chau, who was very thorough with me and helped alleviate some of my pain. I didn't even realize I had so much tension in my neck and shoulders until he adjusted me. Dr. Chau also gave me many different exercises to try at home to help stretch different parts of my body out and keep it from stiffening. I know that my long-term back and sciatica issue can't be resolved in just one visit, so I will be going back to TLC over the next several weeks in the hopes of getting my body back in alignment.
