I was not offered to use the massage chair and my pedicure felt rushed. I was not sure if the tools she was using were clean as she was not opening them from a new package. I visited on October 16. I picked this location because it was near Costco, I needed to kill time while I got my tire fixed. I call ahead to see if they do hard gel, the employee said yes. I walked in and told her I needed a fill only. She said is going to a removal and put on a new set. I told I didn't need one, there's no lifting and the set was 4 weeks old, it was a fill either. She proceeds to soak them off, hard gel does not soak off. But I'm not going to sit there and tell her how to do her job. The gel doesn't lift off soften with the soak off because you can't soak off hard gel. That took more time. Also these are an overlay on my natural nails. I requested taper squared, but if she didn't understand what that was, I'll do square square with deep curved French tip, I got neither. 1 week in, I realized she did soft gel on my nails. Soft gel is flexible, chips and cracks as if you were to get a gel manicure. Pictured as the set she did, I went home and reshaped them. The 2 stars is because for the decent price, I got a manicure as well. Most places don't do manicures on their sets unless you ask. read more

The customer service was absolutely amazing. I had my nails and feet done a couple weeks ago in Rancho and they charged me $116 and it looked like my three year-old granddaughter had done my toes. The lady who did them was really old and so I didn't wanna say anything because I felt bad for her. today I went to TLC to see if they could just repaint my toenails and give me a fill. Danny completely restored my toes. They look amazing probably the best fill and shape I've ever had on my nails and I spent less money. I don't know how TLC has a lower rating than the salon that I went to. I would highly recommend TLC. read more

The only nail shop I will visit! This has been my nail shop for more than 4 years. I have the healthiest, longest nails I ever had since I let them take care of my nails. Sandy does my dip manicures and Tracey does my pedicures. I get 3-4 weeks out if my dip nail manicures, 4-6 on my pedicures. The shop is always clean and the staff follows cleaning protocols. For all the bad reviews on here, let me say this- If you don't have an appointment, yes you are going to wait a while. They will work you in between clients that have an appointment. Their sister store is down the street, on busy days they will call for extra help or they will refer you down the street, but they will do their best to take care of you. Had a long day of mommy-ing so decided to treat myself to a pedi. Was charged $55 for a classic pedicure w gel (one color). I felt the pedicure was rushed and basic w no foot massage or hot towel wraps. I asked to see the service menu on my way out to read description which did describe the classic pedicure to include 10 min massage & hot towels. When I told the lady on the front that I didn't receive those two services, the lady who did my pedicure responded from across the room... "yes I did; look lotion is here (it was on the cart next to her) and here are the towels" (she lifted the dry towels she used for me to place my feet on/protect the chair). I said yes that's lotion and towels but I didn't get a massage or lotion put on me and I did not get hot towels. Lady kept insisting that I did. It was going in circles and became embarrassing in front of other customers and technicians all staring. Left feeling very anxious and upset. Won't come back. Why do I continue to try new places? I love this place and the owner Sandy I have been coming here for years well any way I decided to take my 2 year old son with me and he could just watch Micky mouse club house on my phone. So I am in the chair and he is talking to everyone saying feet dirty for the customers getting pedicures and points to his feet saying the same thing. I went at 5pm and they closed at 6. So I'm guessing this was just a bit of a rush? Wish I could say I was satisfied with my manicure but I'm not entirely happy. Also I asked for square and they gave me square circle. I told the lady I had already filed my nails to the shape that I wanted but she kept filing them. On the other hand, my pedicure was great! The guy was really nice and attentive. I told him I had recently had knee surgery so he was gentle when I had to move my leg. I have recently gone to another place in riverside and they butchered my nails so they were pretty much super short. But he was really careful not to hurt me. It's a hit or miss maybe. I wanted to love this place. I went for a pedicure on Christmas Eve and the following day one of my toes was hurting really really bad. It was red and swollen. I noticed the tech lady cut off too much skin on side of the nail. Man it got infected! Luckily I treated really good and kept my toe clean and luckily the swollen part of the skin went away. It's still a little red, but it's decreasing slowly. It was a painful experience. My suggestion to the owner: if your employees whom are doing pedicures need glasses and still need to get close to see carefully, then, DONT HAVE THEM DO PEDICURES. they can really hurt someone by cutting too much skin on side of nails.
