I came here for a dip gel manicure. Everyone here was very nice and they give you water and a pretzel snack. I really wanted to like this place but my nails look horrible!! I'm shocked that the nail technician thought these looked good. I didn't say anything because I was so disappointed and don't feel like sitting there to have them corrected. Love the vibe of the nail salon between customers and technician looks like it's usually recurring customers that come in because everybody knows each other . This is where I come for a good pedicure. I call my fav, Dr. LeAnne because she's good at making my ingrowns go away. She is also very good at doing the dip nails. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. I wish I got the name of the worker but I didn't, she had a poor attitude and kept saying things under her breath and when I asked about it she acted like she said nothing. All I came in for was a color change and I had black nails but I was going back to my clear work nails. She filed most of the color off and was about to paint so I told her there was black on every nail still. She said the color would go over but I was getting clear nails so I asked her to fix it. I saw it after and told her it was still there so she took a small file to it and when I tried to look she just grabbed my hand. Every time I would try to look she would grab my hand and make comments under her breath. I can't say the whole place is bad but the worker and service I got was not good. I never used to really commit to a certain location whenever I got my nails done but after visiting professional nail & spa and Kaime's exceptional service, I make it a point to make an appointment and see her every time for powder nails on my natural nails or gelx. I had never been to this salon before but I needed a quick pedicure and I was in a rush. I asked them if they could take me right away before I drove over there. The owner said they could take me immediately but when I got there I had to wait 20 minutes. They charge $17 for gel polish which is overpriced so I told the owner I'll just do regular polish. He said either way we have to charge you $17 to take off the gel polish on your toes. He's obviously a scammer and takes advantage of his customers. I will never go to this salon again. read more

Went in yesterday for a mani & pedi. I had a good experience overall but I'm cut from the cuticle removal tools. I was in discomfort at times because the lady who helped me was rough. Really rough. I love that she cleaned my cuticles really well but she just needs to be gentler. I cleaned the cuts on my feet and pinky because they started to hurt a lot especially my fat toe. I think I now may have a ingrown or deep cut. read more

Everyone is so so nice and services are very affordable. Make an appointment or you will wait forever and a half as they are very busy. DO NOT GET CHROME! I paid $10 extra dollars for chrome and it chipped off same day twice! I went back 2 times! This last time I just gave up. It's just not worth my time anymore to keep going back and waiting for them to fix it. Idk if it's technique that's the issue or the actual product. They are not the most sanitary locations I have been to. I saw they use the same towels for multiple people, not sanitize tools, they don't use liners their pedi spas and I saw employees give a pedicure with their bare hands and tools them go over to another guest to work on them without sanitizing or at least wash their hands. I had an event schedule and would be out of town on 3/3/2023. I had time in the morning to do my nails, and I have been going to Professionally Nails and Spa for 13 years. Never had issues, David always attentive, his staff very nice towards me. But for some reason, I didn't receive the same customer services. There was one customer doing a pedi and no one for nails. I asked if I could be seen for a new set of nails, and one of their staff turned me away and didn't give me any available appts for that day. It was 9am when I went, so I went to another nail salon. Don't say you take walk ins if you don't. Came right at 10am today when the open for a Manicure and Pedicure and they told the girl that walked in in front of me they don't have enough people to take her. So I walked out that's horrible. I paid 27.00 for a pedicure. It included hot towels she only did it to one leg. She did not exfoliate, just applied the exfoliate scrub then rinsed. They then forgot about my acrylic overlay and had me waiting after hours to get them done. Def do not recommend and will not be returning. Terrible experience especially for the price. read more

Great hospitality by David. I went on a busy holiday weekend my first time and I was seated and worked on promptly. As a hispanic I need to add, I did not feel any type of racism at the this salon, they were welcoming. (I did see a previous post about that) My first set a lady worked on me, I had a certain nail design I wanted and she did great! My second visit David was my nail tech, he was honest and said he couldn't do the design I wanted, but asked if he could freestyle a fall design. I liked the out come, my nails were cute fall ready. I received so many compliments on them. However for my pedicure my toes were chipping by the second day. I was upset about that, a lady did them but I can't remember her name. These guys saved me on New Year's Eve. I was frantically calling every where trying to get an appointment for a gel fill that morning and everyone was booked and not taking any more reservations. Then I stumbled across this shop that was near my parents house, where I was staying that weekend, and to my relief they agreed to see me if I was there within 30 min. No problem for me since i was just a couple miles from them. When I arrived the salon was busy, obviously, it was NYE! I signed in and waited no more than 5-7 min and was seated at Jenny's station. Jenny did an amazing job. She had her work cut out because the salon I got my full set at a couple weeks before didn't live up to my expectations. I was looking for a professionail. Get it? Moving on, Jenny was fast, efficient, gentle, and precise. She wasn't much for conversation, but I understand. By the time I was seated there were 5 other ladies waiting to be seen as well. I took away one star because they didn't have much of a selection on gel colors. I like to express myself thru my nails. So for this set I was looking for 3 very specific colors. I didn't find what I was looking for exactly, but I am definitely pleased with how they came out. I will definitely stop in here again if I am in the area, live in San Diego. read more
