Well upgrading to our house continues! We were in need of new screens for our home so to Yelp I go. I called a few places for quotes and got them, then I ran across TM ScreenShop. The first thing I noticed was that Paul (the owner) actually puts his prices on his website which I loved, so often contractors know exactly how much things are, yet want to keep it a big secret or whatever to get you to call. Although they are posted I called him to ask "so is the price on the website like the real price" thinking the answer he'd give would be "well, yes and no, there's like a charge for this or for that" etc, but to my surprise he said "yes, it's what the price is, parts, installation tax, no ups no extras." How awesome is that!! Paul's prices were actually much cheaper than the prices I got for the exact same swinging screen door from other companies. I ordered and he said "just pay when I'm done" which was a shocker as well. He placed the order for my screen door and set up a date to install. The day he came to my house he was right on time. I talked to him the whole time he was installing, and he gave me prices etc for my sliders and gave me tips on which ones to get, and even suggested just getting the less expensive ones and explained why. One thing I can assure you, Paul is a very honest decent person, he's not out to make a ton of money off you with the old bait and switch or anything like that. His prices are what they are. Our screen looks excellent, it's a very much better quality than the big box store screens. We had to get custom due to our door being 42" wide rather than 36". He walked around and looked at our sliders and window screens and said that they are all going to be price stated on his website, and that he does them all while he's here, meaning no ordering necessary, he builds them as needed right then and there. All in all we loved his product, his attitude, his honesty and we are for sure having Paul come back to finish all our other screens. read more
