We've used Mobile Screen Service before, and once again they did an absolutely amazing job. But I especially want to recognize Saul, because employees like him are the reason customers come back to a company years later. Mobile Screen Service originally installed our heavy-duty, pet-resistant screen about five or six years ago. About a year and a half ago, our Golden Retriever service dog tried to run through it. That tells you something about the quality of the screen -- he couldn't actually get through it! He did, however, manage to bend the frame. I really didn't want to replace the entire screen because prices have gone up considerably. Saul came to our home, looked at it, and instead of trying to sell us a brand-new screen, told us they could repair the one we already had. They completely restored it for about half the cost of replacing it, and it looks and works beautifully. The best part? Saul was the same person who came to our home about six years ago! He was just as wonderful this time as I remembered. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, funny, and genuinely seems to care about doing the job correctly and taking care of the customer. He explained everything, was on time, and followed through on exactly what he said they would do. We had our screen back within two days -- especially appreciated during this hot weather when we want the doors open without inviting every mosquito in Orange County into the house! Another thing people should know is that Mobile Screen Service really is MOBILE. They come directly to your home, which makes the entire process incredibly convenient. They also do much more than just one type of screen. They offer screening options for doors, windows, pet-resistant applications, and other areas throughout your home. They even have window-screen options that are so clean and unobtrusive that once installed, you can barely tell there is a screen there. Our repaired screen looks fantastic, the quality is excellent, and it works like a charm. I also really appreciate that Saul helped us repair what we already owned rather than simply trying to sell us something new. That kind of honesty and customer service means a lot. Mobile Screen Service is lucky to have Saul representing their company. After having him take care of us six years ago and again today, I can say that he is an outstanding employee and a tremendous reflection of the company. Scheduling was easy, and the screen repair itself turned out great--no complaints there. The product is solid and works perfectly. Unfortunately, the customer experience didn't quite keep up. The original turnaround didn't fit my schedule, and I was completely fine waiting a few weeks. The technician, however, insisted on "squeezing me in" the very next day--presented very much as a favor. Once that was confirmed, he let me know there would be no arrival window, which I understood. I just asked for a quick heads-up before he arrived since I wouldn't be home (a sitter would be). Fast forward to delivery day: no heads-up, just a call expressing irritation that no one answered the door. That part felt... avoidable. The tone of the interaction came across as condescending, as if I had somehow inconvenienced him by accepting the favor I didn't ask for in the first place. To put it simply: great screen, great customer service with scheduling but questionable tech customer service. If the initial quote had come with that same attitude, I would have gone in a different direction. Quality work, but I'd think twice before signing up for the full experience again. 5 star for quality (from what I can tell so far), 2 for customer service. read more

I needed a standard size patio door screen that just needed new mesh plus two other windows which needed entirely new screens built. One of those windows was a very tall custom size window, not a standard size. I called Mobile Screen Service on Friday, spoke to Valentine who was pleasant, professional. He explained the option of having someone come to my home (which involves fee for coming out of $229, but which would be waived, if the job cost that amount or more). He also explained the other option which, if I was sure of my own measurements, was for me bring my screen frame needing new mesh to their factory in Santa Ana, get them made in a couple hours, avoiding the 'mobile' fee plus receiving a 25% discount on the cost of the work. I opted to have someone come to my home. I called on Friday and scheduled a mobile visit for the following Wednesday. I received a confirmation call on Tuesday. Technician Saul arrived right on time Wednesday, pleasant, efficient and quick. He quickly took measurements and after hearing how stray neighborhood cats damaged the patio slider, suggested a heavier mesh specific for pets for our patio slider. Saul confirmed the total price, took his measurements and the frame to be remeshed and was in & out in less than 45 mins. He came back 2 days later, again calling the day prior to confirm appt, and showed up right on time with our new screens. They fit and look great! The heavier mesh on the patio door doesn't diminish the view at all and the new wheels installed on the frame glide like butter. Thank you Valentine and Saul!
