This guy is a pro. He diagnosed a bad vacuum canister and he had replacement part delivered for repair. I highly recommend.

I brought my car here after the temperature gauge started running higher than normal during my…read morecommute. I initially thought it might just be an aging coolant issue, but I didn't want to keep driving it and risk turning a cooling-system problem into an engine problem. Their technicians inspected the heating and coolant system rather than simply topping off the reservoir and sending me home. They found that the coolant level was low and traced the issue to a leak that needed attention. They also checked the hoses and other components of the cooling system and explained what they found before doing the repair. I appreciated that because I wanted to understand why the temperature had been fluctuating instead of just being handed a repair bill. While they had the vehicle, they also checked the heater operation because I'd noticed that the cabin heat wasn't getting as warm as it normally did. The technician explained how the coolant system affects both engine temperature and the vehicle's heating system, which helped everything make much more sense. After the repair and coolant service, the temperature gauge stayed exactly where it should during both stop-and-go D.C. traffic and longer drives. The heater also returned to normal operation. I love that they didn't immediately recommend replacing expensive parts. They inspected the system, identified the actual problem, explained the repair, and then verified that everything was operating properly afterward. That's exactly the kind of approach I want from an auto repair shop. Plus, everyone was professional throughout the visit, and the technicians clearly knew what they were doing - very reassuring!

Honest estimates, great service. Very efficient and always professional. This place is a gem.read more

I had gotten my a/c fixed here and my tire pressure sensor so I trusted them to replace the oil…read morepressure sensor even tho I was still having issues with my tire pressure sensor I knew they warrantied it and Andy was a nice guy so I had trust. I shouldn't have. I drop my car off in October. Oil pressure sensor, manifold was replaced. I pick up the vehicle drive 8 miles home and it stops working. Starts making a loud noise. I call Andy he's responsive tows the Jeep back to him. Calls days later I need new lifters. I'm confused cause I just replaced them. I call the dealer. Send the tech my video. They inform me they only did the one side but said "any smart mechanic knows you need oils to lubricate the lifters". I'm confused which will be worked out later but call Andy approve the work. He calls back "we can't stop your engine from knocking you're going to need a engine Jeep engines are just crap". I'm FLOORED cause that engine was not giving me any problems. He calls back with prices that are way more then every other estimate I got but the dealer. Then tells me the engine is on back order but he can get it and will discount the $1800 I've already paid but that still put me into a $6500-$7500 price range for an engine. Additionally because they had to get a used engine they wouldn't warranty their work. WHAT! I lose trust plus I'm buying a house all my money is tied up and my credit cards so I have my car towed from the shop. We're now in November. Andy goes through a holiday and explains to me how during dinner conversations his family is telling him how he shouldn't give me a discount for the engine and he's so nice. Well at the gives me a full refund when I pick up my car and now I know why he was so willing. When they replaced my oil pressure sensor and manifold and gave me my cat Brandon didn't do the oil change. My vehicle was bone dry no oil. When I picked up the vehicle Brandon was a bit distracted with his conversation to his peer about a date and "what women brought to the table" I lie to you not cause I was a bit uncomfortable in the waiting area able to hear this but I wanted my car. When I drove the 8 miles home I blew the lifters because NO OIL like the dealer cryptically said "any mechanic knows oil lubricates the lifters". I didn't get it. A repair estimated around $700 ended up costing me $6000 due to negligence not on my part. I'm disappointed cause I thought I was really going to like this shop. He's the first person to touch my Jeep that wasn't the dealer. I had new lifters and new transmission and their negligence cost me way more than what I paid for the engine. I had to rent a car for over a month. I'm almost out $10k due to their error and all they said was sorry heres your money back.

Also I didn't know much about the oil, thinking they are the experts , give me what I got last time you have the information right on your screen. Then was told 15-20minutes that turned into 30minutes before I was told I needed an air filter and then change brake fluid. I just had my brakes replaced. Something about that wasn't right. I just came for an oil change. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know. Well of course I let them do the recommended repairs ($500) and left 1 hr later. Upset broke and late for church . Im done with this Jiffy Lube they act like they were doing me a favor and they weren't nice about it.

I pull up I tell the gentleman I just want an oil change. Only an oil change. I leave my vehicle, they call me to go over the invoice. The young lady working shows me my filters and says something about changing them. I say no, I'm fine I just want the oil change. She says are you sure, this is the air you breathe. I say yes I'm sure I can change that myself pretty easy, just the oil. Then she mentions brakes and another worker comes and mentions my windshield wiper, which has been working fine just used them the other day but to all of this I say no thank you, just the oil. She then asked about the filters again, to which I gave the same response. She says ok, this is the air you're going to have to breathe makes a face and starts laughing as she takes them back to my vehicle. Which I personally think is a little unprofessional. My car gets finished. I go in to pay, I pass her the money she gives me the change I say thank you, she says mmhm. I turn around she says "do you want your keys" I say something like oh they aren't in the car? When I get into my vehicle I pull off when I look to my passenger side all of the papers that were in my glove compartment are on the seat and floor so I turn around to go back. I spoke with a different person and just asked why they'd be out of the glove compartment, I should have got his name because he was professional, he says oh they went into the glove box to get the cabin filter but the items should have been put back to where they came from and I informed him of the interaction. This review is a combination from all of the slightly off-putting things that happened after declining extra services that seemed like micro-aggressions stacked on top of each other. What I think should have been a pretty basic and normal thing suddenly felt petty. I usually don't go to this location and probably won't again, no hard feelings to the staff that was uninvolved more so writing this review to educate how one tiny little micro-aggression or gesture can make or break the level of service and make even small mistakes seem intentional.

I needed some major braking repairs done, so I started looking for a new mechanic shop. I found a lot of body shops online that I planned on visiting. Autocare Services, was the first body shop I planned on visiting. Needless to say that after visiting Autocare Services, I came away very impressed and did not visit any other mechanic shops. The mechanic Steve at Autocare Services goes out of his way for the customers. In a matter of minutes Steve was able to tell me what I needed repaired and let me know that my old body shop did not go a good job on my previous repairs. Additionally, Steve made sure that I was getting the best parts at reasonable price ( on a college student budget). The mechanic steve was a able to repair my disc break rotor (rear), disc break caliper (front) and suspension struts. The end result was an impeccably done repair. Job well done!!! (he even fixed a minor trunk problem in my car I presented to him later on at no cost). They fixed my car quickly and with quality. I would absolutely recommend, and this is where I will go from now on for my car's repairs. Great service and quality all the way through.
