It was my very first time service with Jindai. My 2015 town and country had a knock sound from the engine due to bad lifter and rocker. My local mechanic wanted my just drive the car until the engine completely broke down. Luckily i found Jindal who know how to fix this kind of issue. It literally saved my minivan from graveyard just after 100k mils. The owner/Manager Sanjay really provided the excellent customer service with great communication so I would know exactly the progress of the repair. And the cost of the rebuilding engine was a fraction compare to what the dealer might be charging. With further recommendations to the van, i feel that i just had a brand new car after the shop. Okay a quick update so I put my car in the shop for a brake booster and the had it for 4 months miss up my power steering try to make me pay to get it fix when they miss it up . So they call me told me the car was fix and they paid for the power steering then told me I need to take the view down now or I will have to pay for the power steering. Worst car service ever! Took my car here because it was making a noise when I pressed the gas pedal. They kept my car for a week and paid $1200 to drive off the lot and immediately have the same issue. Misdiagnosed my car. Dropped it back off for another to pay another $1600 and now I'm having even more problems that I didn't even have from the beginning. Basically paid $3,000 for absolutely nothing. Sadly now I need to take it somewhere else to be fixed. Will never go here again. read more

Initially I wasn't too impressed for a couple of reasons, however as soon as they found out about the issues, they reached out to me to make it right and since their establishment was the closest to my home and most convenient, I decided to give them another shot. Sanjay worked with me throughout the duration of both of my two insurance claims to make sure that no corners were cut and that everything that needed to be repaired/replaced was done properly. He also kept in constant communication to make sure I remained abreast throughout the entire time. He also made a small minor repair at no cost. He also made sure to address each of my concerns individually. One of which was the fact that there was very little signage and that it was difficult to identify the facility. The day that I picked up my vehicle, he showed me that he company had since made multiple signs so that it would be easier for customers/clients to identify the establishment, where to park, etc. Although we got off to a rocky start, in the end, they made it crystal clear why hey had so many high reviews. After having some sticker shock experiences at my Toyota dealership (every time I went in they would find $3000 worth of work to do) and coming up on needing a rear brake job - I decided to give these guys a try after hearing how fantastic they were from a coworker. Needless to say I won't be going to my dealership again. I dropped the car off early and they tore down and diagnosed the brakes in an expected amount of time. The parts didn't come as fast as Shawn wanted - he kept calling and updating me and was concerned the car would not be done before the end of the day due to the rotors taking some time to get there. He even was offering to stay late and get it done if they did show up. We worked it out and I told him I could be by the following morning. (I get it - things happen and you can't control how quickly parts show up with NAPA and CarQuest etc). Shawn was incredibly friendly and kind - and for my troubles gave me a discount. Could not have been easier. We talked briefly about doing some body work in the near future - which I will be doing with them for sure. They're knowledgable, friendly, honest and fairly priced. The breaks in our car were making a terrible sound and we knew it was time to do something about it. After reading some Yelp reviews on Yelp for local mechanics we settled on this spot. The person I spoke with about bringing the car in was nice. When they evaluated the issues they let us choose what we wanted to fix that day and didn't push back, which was was a welcome change from some other mechanics that always up-sell. Our car was fixed same day and the breaks sound great now. Unfortunately I had to take a star off because for some reason when we got the car back all of the compartments were left open and rummaged through, and everything in our trunk was also rummaged through and left a mess. I don't know what it was they needed to find or access but we thought that was an unprofessional way to hand the car back. Other than that we were happy with the outcome. read more

I wish there was a 6 star rating! Quality work for great value! My car is about 17 years old with only 138K miles, but has required some heavy duty maintenance just due to normal wear and tear. Over the course of 7 years, (in addition to regular oil changes) this shop has replaced my headlights, a/c compressor, alternator, struts, spark plugs, motor mounts, and a left ball joint. I've never had any issues with the quality of the work (it's excellent) and it's always done in a timely manner. They even allow me to shop for parts for competitive pricing if I'm not pleased with what they find! Unlike other places, the labor costs are more than reasonable and I never feel cheated or like I'm being pressured to do more work than what's needed. They also take the time to explain why certain work is advised or can wait, so I know a lot more about my car and how it functions. It's day 3 and I feel like I have a brand new car. I'm so appreciative of Jindal Andre Automotive. I'm a college student from Louisiana and a lot of auto shops we're trying to get a lot of money from me. I received estimates for 3000+. A lot of men see young women and try to take advantage but it wasn't like this at all here. The work that needed to be done was a serpentine belt replacement, Tensioner pulley replacement and a oil leak due to a crack in the timing belt. Terrible customer service, inattentive, rude, long wait, and run down shop. Only positive is it's cheap, but you're getting what you pay for. It seems their main clients are taxi drivers so you're really getting bottom barrel service. Took 1.5 hours for rotate and balance tires (cost $40) and then an oil change (5quarts of full synthetic was $79). After my car was done, the manager was rude and was on the phone chatting and yelling back and forth with mechanics. He wanted my full address, cell, email, and all sorts of info for their profile and said it was required... I said heck no I'm not giving you all the personal info. So watch out for that, actually just avoid this place. read more

Good: I was looking for a new BMW mechanic in D.C. and Jindal-Andre did a good job trouble shooting and replacing the alternator and starter. They were honest and tried to work with me to find more affordable parts. Bad: It appears most people don't get their cars back within the promised timeline. Several days in my case instead of a day. I took my 2011 Prius in for body work where I had scraped and dented the side (grazing a pole in the parking garage) and to replace the backing on my driver's side view mirror. After getting a quote of $1,700 from the Toyota dealer, I wanted to see if a smaller shop could do the work more cheaply. The quote Sanjay, the owner, gave me was literally $1,000 less. He even had one of his guys fix some scratches on our bumper (for free) while he did the estimate. Sanjay estimated two days to do the work but finished it in one day and promptly called me when it was done. It looks like there was never a scratch on it and the paint matched perfectly. The car looks amazing. And there were no surprises when it came time to pay - he charged exactly what he said he would. I could not be happier with the service and price I got at Jindal-Andre! I'll get it out of the way and say that I am suspicious of auto repair places. The number of times that I think I'm going in for a standard procedure only to be quoted random numbers that seem crazy are not isolated. I've looked and looked for a good auto place and this one fits the bill. First, they are honest. They explained to me what it would cost up front. There was a slight discrepancy come bill time that I offhandedly mentioned (I was 100% ok with paying the slight extra) and they immediately honored the earlier price (it was a VERY slight discrepancy so I was surprised). When I ordered rotors + pads they said they would keep the rotors and not charge me if they did not need to be changed. Second, they give you options. I was in for brake replacement and they gave me options for budget or premium. They did not pressure me into one or another. I asked them for quotes for pads and pads + rotors and they accommodated Third, they are well priced. My quote from them came in at 50% less than the shop that said they needed to be changed. It was an easy choice. Overall I would not hesitate to bring my car back in (and plan to do so). Part of me wants to keep them to myself so that they don't get too busy! read more
