This is the easiest oil change location ever. You just pull up and never even have to get out of your car. I've been here several times and the process is always smooth and quick. They'll also let you know if things like your air filters need to be replaced and can handle that right there on the spot. The service is affordable and super convenient, especially if you don't have time to wait around at a busy mechanic shop. If you're coming, I recommend approaching from the Pennsylvania Ave side of Silver Hill Road so you don't have to deal with making a U-turn. Also have to mention the music was on point. Even though the service was quick, I caught "I Want You Around" by Snoh Aalegra and "Girls Need Love Too" by Summer Walker playing while I was there. Quick service with a good soundtrack. i got my oil changed and the oil filter changed on the 2nd of January. i noticed that an older man there had "checked" my brake lights but didn't do that to any other car there. I assumed it was because I'm a young female I felt like he was trying to get over on me. he said that 2 lights were out in the back of my car and that it was $15 a piece. I declined. I later checked after I left and noticed everything was fine. Fast forward it is the 5th of January and my car locked up on me and I all of a sudden have no brake fluid. When the worker finally came over to my truck, after a significant amount of time, he started to ask questions but someone pulled up in a car after me and next to me and called his name. I always go to this location for my routine oil changes for my car. Everybody is really friendly overall, but beware o certain male associates. Some are a little bit too friendly and it comes off as unprofessional. When I mean by that is, if I'm going to get my car serviced, that's all I expect. I don't want to be "hollered" at or "asked out" to go to happy hour. It makes me uncomfortable in my honest opinion. Luckily the service is excellent in terms of my car getting serviced and the speed it takes to get serviced. But the one on one, interpersonal conversations with random customers (females mostly I'm sure), some of the male staff members needs to chill on that and do one thing at this location: their job, and their job ONLY. It's not a location to search for your next sugar mama or woman to lay in bed with. I had a really good experience here. They're located approximately 10min from our house. I called around and a bunch of other mechanics either changed too much or couldn't do a same day oil change. I called this location and they were reasonably priced and said they could get me in and out in minutes. they certainly delivered AND were honest about the things I *needed* to do vs. the things we could hold off on. The short: beware of the up sell of unnecessary services. Other than that their customer service is great. If you need an oil change and are press for time..go to this Jiffy Lube. I got an oil change and it took 15minutes tops! They got two stars for speed. My only grip is they are up selling additional unnecessary services. Once I got my car into the shop bay one of the techs brought me in to show me the results of their inspection. He recommended that I get a radiator flush at $89 and change my air filter at $19.99. He even showed me the air filter he pulled out of the car. This is a good thing right? Well no it's not because I had just gotten my radiator replaced 2 days before. And knew that their was nothing to warrant the recommended radiator flush. Lastly, I had personally changed my air filter a week ago. The air filter he pulled out showed no signs of discoloration or needing to be replaced. I declined the extra services and just got the oil change. I didn't have the heart to tell him that my Dad was a Master Mechanic and I was well educated on cars :) read more

AMAZING SERVICE! This was my first visit to a Jiffy Lube so I didn't know what to expect. I will say that after reading a few of the reviews on this place, I was not sure if I wanted to bring my car here. However I was completely proven otherwise. I was greeted as I got out of my car! Asked why I was here, told how much it would cost, how long it would take, and then escorted inside. About 5 minutes later one of the techs brought me out to the garage to talk about my service. Obviously they are going to try and upsell you more items at this point, it is their job. They went through their routine and I declined everything except the wiper blades because I needed new ones and they are competitively price with autozone and other auto stores. I was never pressured into buying anything extra. Went back inside and about 10-15 minutes later it was all done. Kuddos to this shop and their performance from all the workers! I called this Jiffy Lube after getting lousy service at an Alexandria Va. location yesterday; To my great delight, the service I received today was the opposite of yesterday's experience! I called the Forestville Md. location, (which was only about 15 minutes from Capitol Hill (Ahem, Yelp! Didn't show up as near Capitol Hill...) And asked if they had the correct fluid for a particular service my car needed, beyond the usual oil change. Not only did they have the fluid, unlike the lousy Jiffy Lube in Alexandria on Four Mile Dr., but when I asked about a dashboard error light the manager told me he would be happy to look at it for me, though he couldn't guarantee it was something they could fix, which I completely understand; they do maintenance, not repair. So I drove out there, waited maybe a minute in line, then the manager appeared, shook my hand, and promptly re-appeared with the code-reader that that connects to your car and reports the error code so you can figure out what is wrong- He wrote down the code for me, then showed me to the waiting area. They did the work I needed done efficiently, rang me up, and I was out the door. I've now used probably 5 different Jiffy Lube locations, but this was the best one near Capitol Hill, definitely returning there in 5000 miles for my next oil change! read more

I was putting off getting an oil change because of the pandemic. Sure enough the day I get my oil changed, I felt like I was in a cesspool. All of the service workers were nice but wore were their mask below their chin except one. Murphy's Law... I didn't get him. They also expected me to keep my window open! That was the worst oil change experience ever because they made me feel so uncomfortable. Common sense, people in any direct service industry should wear masks to show that they care. This weekend and 9800 miles ago during my last oil change, I received terrible service at this Jiffy Lube. I guess it was so bad the first time that I forgot to go back, and clearly my return was even worse than I remembered. I was "greeted" with a grunt and it only got worse. No one asked me why I was in for service or what I needed help with. Seriously, I had to ask a second employee if I should leave my keys and if it was okay for me to sit in the waiting area before talking to the first guy about my car. During the one-on-one the mechanic loudly yelled, "WHY isn't your car in the system? WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU BROUGHT IT HERE?! Shocked I could only reply I don't know but there is a jiffy lube sticker you can find on my window. He proceeded to find the sticker and track down all the information he needed in the system. There were 8 cars that arrived after me that were serviced ahead of mine. After I left I noticed my car had not been vacuumed or the windows washed. If I come back to the review then I will post the photo of the bird poop spot they left. In fact, the only reason this gets one star is because during checkout the employee went through the service list as I was paying. But I overpaid since the items they promised were not all complete. This week I intend to take my car to another Jiffy Lube to ask them to do a QC on the oil change since I cannot even trust that the service team completed it correctly.
