I called Tom when we were…read moreis the process of buying a house and asked him for an estimate on installing a radon mitigation system. He was very responsive right from the start and we chose Prime to do the work once we the house purchase closed. He and his team did a professional job. Their communication was great. They sent emails to confirm each appointment and even sent texts with an ETA when they were on the way to the property. Our house has two basement levels, so the installation was a bit complicated. We were informed of exactly where the floor penetration points would be located and where the exhaust pipes would run. Lead time for the install was short - a week. Since there was no attic access in the garage where the piping would run, we had them install an access door with a drop-down ladder. This extended the install to a two-day process. However, on the second day, we had tree work being done and that interfered with having the Prime work trailer in the driveway. Tom quickly rearranged the second visit to another day that was convenient for us. The job was performed very professionally. They cleaned up everything and explained all of the work. The final result looks good, too!

It had an old oil boiler hot water and heating system that needed to be replaced but I was told it was in working condition and met standards, outdated electrical, dishwasher not hooked up and working and garage door opener missing parts and not working but passed the house anyways. The boiler disintegrated two days after moving in costing me 6500.00, the dishwasher was never hooked up and run to check, the garage door opener serves no purpose and the electrical was not addressed.
