Instead of releasing, the fabric began to rip. Purely rotten fabric!!!

Black Friday is a liquidation store with items ranging from cosmetics, toys, clothing, small…read morehousewares and more. I believe most of the stuff comes from Target. There are rows of bins and you have to dig deeper in some than others. There are also items lining the walls that are separately priced than whatever "dollar day" amount is advertised. I've been on $10, $4 $3 and $1 days. (Where everything in the bins in that price) I have found the best stuff for the best deal on $1 days. Mostly kids items and cosmetics. My only real complaint is they allow shopping carts. The aisles are tight, the place isn't very big and the carts take up the aisles and I've been many times where I can't get down any aisle due to the amount of people using carts. They have baskets which is great and I wish more people utilized those instead of carts. Overall it's worth checking out on various dollar days to see what deals you can get.

I have been here several times in the past week and have gotten pieces of such great quality. My first item was a 4 chair dining room chair set for $135, which was perfect with my dining table thrift find and for my home. Even my cats love sitting in the chairs. My second item was a nightstand set where I had to put everything together (this is where I met LaKita). I had questions about the measurements and went above and beyond to allow me to open the box to take the exact measurements I needed. My third item was a dresser that fit my coastal theme with seashell handles I have my eyes on. She definitely remembered me, followed up with how the nightstands were going, and was glad to see me back there. The combination of the quality in these items I have bought and LaKita's customer service is the perfect reason to keep returning to this store for my future needs, whether it's furniture pieces or simple DYI materials.

A lot of the furniture has cosmetic damage and/or is just terrible looking. Some of the couches look like it could have came from the 1970s. Not saying you can't find a hidden gem, but I would not drive a long distance to search. I did find a nice looking fire pit with Adirondack chairs that I would have purchased, but it was black only. Unless you have it under some shade, black chairs in the South means burning your ass in the summer. Most of it is junk nobody wanted to buy online, returns or has minor cosmetic damage. I am from another town and I decided to visit the store at Bridford Parkway in Greensboro NC. It was a good sized store and looked well stocked. I am a paper crafter and noticed they still had vinyl and metal plaques clearanced as 4/1.00. I selected 9.00 worth and 4 additional items for regular price. The lines were very long and since I was not in a hurry, I let a young woman who was late for a birthday party in front of me. The cashier was slow and the young lady left money with the cashier and ran out without her change. This seemed to confuse the cashier so I told her the yong lady was in a hurry and could not wait. The cashier made change and decided to put in under the counter for someone in need. I had placed the .25 items on the belt first to help with checkout. When the cashier almost got to the regular priced items I noticed the total was almost 11.00. I mentioned to her that she probably scanned something twice. The cashier became very defensive and started denying it. I told her we did not need to start over, it was okay. The cashier started to put things in the bag without scanning and loudly denying. The manager came over and asked what I had purchased. I explained I got 9.00 worth of 4/1.00 items. The manager started talking in a very loud voice that the items were .25. In the meantime she was fixing the total in the register. I explained that .25 was 4/1.00, as the signage indicated. I explained, it was okay and expressed my concern about delayin the long lines. The manager continued to talk in a loud voice and fix simething in the register. She finally rung up a total, grabbed my receipt and went to a counte. At the counter, she loudly counted the items so everyon could hear and thrust the receipt at me. I took the receipt and told her, it was okay. I will not be back, even though it is a well stocked store. I am not the shinest penny, however it was not hard to see she fixed the total and went out of her way to both embarrash me...to make an eaxample? Despite the fact that she was correcting the error while questioning me. I don't get a lot of choices in this world but where I spend my money is one of them. Love Dollar Tree, just not this one.

If you have never been to a Hamrick's, the main feature is economy pricing on clothing. They have a large ladies department, with a fairly good sized men's department as well. There are also departments for home decor, kitchen, and "as seen on tv" gadgets. I found a few things, such as men's undershirts that were at a good discount. Check out employees were prompt, polite, and professional. Another nice feature is a seating area for tired shoppers (or husbands that got dragged into the store!)

And even if you go not looking for anything, you're bound to find something. They have such a huge array of items, from home decor, to bedding, to kitchen items (like pots and pans, plate, glasses, utensils, and so on), art, food/snacks, furniture, and so much more. Pricing is hit or miss, some items, are well priced, others are bit high in my opinion. I guess it's all in what you're willing to pay. We didn't have any luck finding the rug, but found a few other small items . The only interaction we had with staff was at the register, and it was fine. They were friendly, got us checked out and we were on our way.

Im in love with the print since I do love anything that resemble Western/Native. The art work is so unique! Is an embroidery art work! It was Soo pretty and honestly want I wanted for the office wall. I will for sure we back, when it's time to redo the kitchen!
