I LOVE this Maxx! It is the largest, most organized one I've been to. There are so many different options more than other stores. The highlight almost every time I go is the staff member who works the dressing room. I wish I knew her name. She is so positive and encourages you to stay positive so your fittings go well! Came by the other day and forgot to leave a review. I was able to find several things the other locations didn't have. One was slightly scuffed and they gave a discount on top. They have an amazing selection of bath soaps. They are massive and a bottle lasts for months. My only gripe is how long the register can be. Only one cashier was open and it went very slowly. bought a phone case yesterday from them and it did not end up fitting my phone so I went back to return it and they said they could t refund me my money even tho I had the receipt and said they could only give me store credit then when I tried to use the store credit the next day they said I wasn't able to do to that the Id the card it was made under didnt match my store card but I only used my identification so I don't recommend buying anything your really not sure of because they will give you attitude if you try and get a refund read more

I really liked this TJ Maxx, it is spacious, open, and new! Things aren't crazy cramped like you find at some locations. I found quite a few nice tops for summer and their active section looked pretty awesome. I didn't spend too much time there because then I end up spending too much money. The dressing rooms are pretty standard, but they have a ton of them so if it gets busy on the weekends you won't have to worry about waiting. The home section was nice but could have been an aisle or two larger. They didn't have any picture frames, which I thought was odd. The men's and kid's sections were larger than what you would normally see. This one is probably close to double the size of the one in Winston and its much brighter. The one in Winston is a bit old, always feels a bit dark. If you are on Wendover Ave it is worth a stop in. read more

The store is located in a large shopping center, conveniently next to a lot of restaurants in case you get hungry during your shopping extravaganza ;-) This specific store has an extensive variety of different products that they sell, with a good quantity of each individual item as well. Between the variety of clothes to the assortment of home decor, you're bound to walk out with at least something in your hand. It's extremely clean in here! There's absolutely no clutter and everything is in its place and very well organized. Kudos to the team that work at this location for maintaining a great shopping environment that keeps customers, like myself, happy and able to enjoy our shopping experience! This is a good location of TJ Maxx. The jewelry area is orderly & I love going to the home goods area with my friend, Chad. We have found many pieces of furniture & dog toys/treats for our pets. MAX and give them NO First of all: They give the luggage that I picked out and put it up at the register with my name to some other customer that wanted the luggage's size that I picked out... I'm always shop in there, if they tell me to check out first and then keep on shopping .. yes I will pay and take them to the car. I was just shopping near the makeup storage organizer section and an employee was also there unpacking new items I guess and she yells out loud something around " why can't people learn to put things where they belong DAMN" and then angrily pushes all the stuff to the back of the shelf which made a really loud sound which scared me. One of my favorite stores to shop at in Greensboro. Excellent deals, friendly employees, and a wide variety of things to shop for here. I try to stop in at least once a week and see what's new and can't help but always leave with something. I love T.J. Maxx on Wendover. Only negative is that they can't hold items overnight. This TJ maxx is really nice! Since the ceiling is so tall it seems pretty big but I think the one in winston still has it beat. It's always clean and tidy. You don't see a mess of items laying around anywhere. You can come in here and spend hours! read more

It's a sad day when the discount store has items more expensive than Target. I went in to get a wooden platter. They're at Target for $16.99 for full price. They're $24.99 at TJ Max. They not only didn't price match, they were rude about it. I should also mention the item was damaged and they seemed unconcerned. read more

I have been to this location several times, and I think every time I go, I find something that I like a lot. The dressing room lady is always very friendly. The lines are usually long, but they move quickly and the store always appears to be properly staffed. My only complaint: I'd already been waiting in line for a fairly long time, and when I go to check out the cashier seems.. Really frazzled. I don't really know another way to describe it. She gets tangled up in the tag on the clothing I'm purchasing and spends a period of time twirling around trying to get unwrapped. It's like this person was moving in slow motion. I know this is a strange description, but she was acting really off. The whole ordeal took way longer than necessary. I finally told her she could just cut the tags off, because she seriously could not get herself together. What an odd experience. read more

Another great bargain find. This store offers great deals on home decor and name brand clothing. They also have name brand bedding and towels in case your into that stuff. But the real reason I go here is usually for home items and the clothes. I can find great bargains on work clothes which can get pretty pricey somewhere else. Overall I think before you buy at another retail store this place deserves a good look first. read more

The worst place to work ever!!! The worst manager. Worked 2016. Belittles you in front of customers and snaps her fingers at you to come to her when she wants you to do something. Shows favoritism toward own race. She said she was a new manager and I believe it. I used to love shopping there and felt working there would be as good! Wrong!!!! I'm not a young person either. No respect for older workers. Hopefully it's different now! I don't shop there anymore as a result of my work experience sadly. This was in Burlington, NC. I frequently visit this T.J. Maxx. I like to buy my high-end skin care products here. However, the skin care and make-up isles are such a mess and there is obviously a high amount of shop-lifting at this store. I find so many empty boxes and products that have been opened and people have put their fingers in it. It's such a shame. I wish they would put the high-end products behind glass. These products are such a great deal at T.J. Maxx but I get so frustrated, I just turn around and leave. There should be something they can do to stop this. Maybe the isles should be moved to the front of the store with the isles open to the registers and add large signs that shoplifters will be prosecuted. read more
