The next time I called them, it took three visits and several workers to compete the tasks. While they did locate a replacement part that I needed, it all turned out to be much more expensive than I expected. Next, they came out for free to inquire about a question I had and caught a different issue in the process, which they took care of that day. So it seems a mixed bag with unknown outcomes, but they can usually come over quickly and get the job done.

They are not friendly and frankly I felt they just wanted me out of the store. One example, I was given advice on a faucet from them and when it was determined it was not going to available for 3-4 months, I asked for something similar. The front desk person just sifted through a delta catalog to see what faucet was available, not one that fits our design preferences, etc. (Note: I was able to find the faucet at Lowes and delivered within 3 weeks). I get that they might not keep stock on hand but I should not be shuffled through each faucet in a catalog to give me what delta has in stock at that time. It was rude and I felt demeaned because this is now how I wanted to get my room designed. A second example was for the 2nd bathroom for a quote for shower doors (European style). In the initial quote, we got a quote for regular shower doors. When I figured out that this was for regular doors, I asked for a requote. So, I set up an appointment for them to come out a 2nd time. However, a few hours later, another person from the store left a message on my phone with a quote that was over double. Needless to say, they didn't even do the order correctly the first time, they were inconveniencing me with their person to come out again but then also giving me a quote without even getting the order right in the first place. It seemed to me their back office and front office don't even talk. It had nothing to do with the money but I lost complete trust that they even care to do a good, quality job. So, I cancelled the appointment and will not be calling them again. We want to fully support small business but not Longs after giving numerous chances. Who knows?

I used the project quote function on Yelp to snag some pricing and info from local plumbers. In chatting with Al over yelp, he had me send some pictures and gave me a general idea of pricing. Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. Some of the larger companies in the area were a week or more out before even willing to come give me an estimate. Can't say enough positive things about Breyer's. From start to finish it was a friendly, professional, and well done project. If i need a plumber in the future, they'll be my first call.

I want to tell you that every time I have needed them, they have responded. They "move with purpose". I never forgot that about them because heating and cooling is an essential amenity. The first time we called Pete's we had bought a house that had no furnace, central air or duct work. A huge project, expensive all by itself. We had a new baby and had to be ready to move from our apartment into the house within weeks. The level of coordination and care that Pete's has is unheard of! Even when there are other contractors involved such as electricians, they all work together with such professionalism, respect and synchronization that you literally cannot tell that they all do not work for the same company. This is no small thing if you have ever had any large projects done on your home that involved several subcontractors. It can be a nightmare, cause delays and eat up your money and sanity.
