First of all, our service was spot on! Cassii was hustling back and forth and never missed a thing and constantly checked on us, even though the place was very busy. We split a bowl of crab soup, pork belly rueben, crab balls, and basket of fries. Plenty for 2 people. The soup was super thick with some chunks of crab. It was cold (20-30 degrees), so this was a perfect dish for the weather. Not sure if I would get this on a 90-100 degree day though! The reuben had nice and crispy chicharron pork belly pieces. Would order again. The fries were crispy and plentiful (we chose Old Bay seasoning). Totally satisfied. The Crab Balls were good, but not necessarily something I'll likely crave. They came with a cocktail jelly (not sauce) and some tartar sauce. I would've preferred an aioli instead for them. The sauces were just unusual to me and let me down just a bit. Maybe it wasn't meant to be a jelly? Dunno. Ordered the sweet tea. No half & half options FWIW. Definitely a fountain tea like Brisk (not a fan). So, a solid 4 stars for this place. I had a decent first experience with this innovative restaurant. The parking area is miserable because it's attached to a Dunkin' so be careful in the lot! Clean & attractive inside. Love the build your own grilled cheese feature. I had a great & gooey pepper jack rye bread grilled cheese, piping hot (a little on the greasy side) for about $6. I chose no sides. Next time I'd love to try the crab cake of the dogs. It took longer than I expected to grill and the primary greaater talked a little too much for my tastes. As this was my first time I needed a moment to review the menu. The Grilled Cheese and Crabcake Company has a robust menu that is beyond just a regular grilled cheese. Taking a few moments to take the menu in, I decided to order the Guy Fieri creation. "THE TRIPLE D MELT" BUILT BY GUY FIERI | ($15.25) Smoked gouda, smoked brat, onion rings, fried egg, pepper jack, jalapeños, and sriracha Omgggggggggggggg. When I say Amazingggggggg. This creation is top tier and provides a level of flavor pleasing joy that I never expected. The Smoked Gouda is super melty and brings the salt to the sandwich. The Smoked Brat brings a meat source smokiness enhancement that brings out the robust flavor of the Gouda and adds a stacked layer of ummmmm. The Onion Rings bring another layer of crunch that pairs well with the toasted bread. The Pepper Jack and Jalapeños combined add a spice that is more flavor based than beat based. I don't even like Pepper Jack much but it is amazing on this sandwich. The Sirracha tops it off with a seasoned sauce blend that enhances the sandwich as a whole. The Triple D Melt is absolutely amazing and I have fallen in love. LoL Great food. Great service. Great experience. All around greatness. So Oh My Greatness, had originally wanted another restaurant but counter find a parking spot so I stumbled onto this. I had a great reception from Cassey and K-pee- owner. The place is small but the atmosphere was great, simple themes and a BIG Diners, Drive ins, and Dives sign on the side wall which set the overall feeling. There were many choices for food for both the simple palate and seafood lover, and a Cuban in between. This placed was packed for such a small restaurant, it has 5 - 4 seat tables, 2 - 2 seat tables with 3 bar top chairs just in case. I ordered the Supreme Crab Cake with smoked Gouda cheese and a side of Fries. It was very delicious and filling, huge sandwich and a ton of crispy French fries. Now it was a bit hectic this evening, the normal cook was not there due to illness and the staff was short handed. Some folks were a bit testy but I think it was an excellent meal regardless. I am humbled that they give an awesome military discount so I am always honored by that great gesture. Great job y'all read more

The flavor is there but it should be fried harder for the crunch factor. The tartar sauce jazzed it up a bit. I didn't like the fries they were very bland. What a great little place! It's super casual but make no mistake - the food here is FANTASTIC! We had a standard grilled cheese sandwich that was grilled to perfection and the cheese (so much cheese!!) was hot and melty and did that long stretch thing when I took a bite. The sandwich was not greasy at all either. My dining partner had a crab cake sandwich that also had cheese on it. OMG it was top notch. The generously large crab cake was very fresh and perfectly cooked. We also had a bowl of crab chowder, angry style (added pickled jalapeños and siracha sauce). It was positively killer. Last but not least the French fries - whoa, the French fries! I would come back for the fries alone, they were that good. Little golden brown potato planks dusted with salt, and served HOT.
