First of all the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My fiancée and I went in looking for a motorcycle, we don't have the best of credit but Chris with finance and our salesman Tye really took the time and effort and a little bit of magic and got us rockin & rollin on the bike we wanted! We could not be happier and will for sure be coming back for our next motorcycle and also for my fiancée to buy more merch LOL. Fantastic staff, fantastic prices, fantastic dealership to work with!

Full service department and sales of parts, new Harley models, and apparel. It's fun to stop by and meet up with your friends and take a trip on the backroads to explore North Carolina. Friendly staff make coming here a fun experience. I highly recommend.

Took my Road King in for ABS brake flush and decided to get the pugs done vs me doing it. The bike had fingerprints all over the tank and windshield. In addition, the fuel gauge wires were not put back in the harness, so they were dangling under the tank when I got home. I also found a nick and very small scratches on the dash insert. I know they were not there before, and I don't have kids etc. Proving they did it is impossible. Since I had locks on the sissy bar and my guess is they dropped the key chain on the tank with those keys on it. I did take it back and they fixed the wires which lasted until I got home. I posted a review on Google and the owner said he would talk to the shop but no call, apology. or attempt to make it right. Caveat emptor is the moral. If service is indicative of sales, I am so glad I bought it at Charleston SC Harley.

I brought my bike in for cams and dyno tuning and left with a bike that run poorly and died when stopped. Up until this time the bike ran flawlessly. I took the bike back to the dealership and after a few days they told me the Power Commander 5 was broken and I needed a new one. They sold me a flash tune from a Power Vision and charged me for the dyno session again. The Power Commander 5 has visible gash marks and a cracked side with a chip missing from the case. It appears it was preyed out, possibly with a screw driver. When I called the service manager, Nick Morris, and explained the issue he became agitated and insisted his techs didn't do anything wrong and the Power Commander 5 was installed under the seat which he claims is a wrong location (Power Commander's website shows the unit under the seat and is been under my seat without issue for approximately 5 years). I asked for a discount and was refused. This feels like the classic case of "we broke this so charge the customer for a new one." I'm very disappointed with this experience and will be taking my business to Ray Price Harley Davidson. If you use Tobacco Road for service make sure your pre-inspect your bike because they will not always do the right thing.

My 2017 Ultra Limited had a faulty breather assembly. Took them 2 weeks to diagnose it. I had them do a Stage IV, and it had never-ending problems afterwards. The waits for repairs were long and aggravating, and the continual problems were infuriating. Not to mention the fact that when I was dealing with the sales team (back when it was Ray Price H-D, they treated me like they were doing me a favor by selling me a bike. Left a bad impression. I don't own that bike anymore. Traded it in on something much better elsewhere. I will not work with this dealership again.

Bought my current bike a 2012 Electra-Glide Ultra from them, I wasn't planning on buying, rather I had come to schedule service on my extremely problematic 2015 StreetGlide. Saw they had a used ultra with apes in black, all chromed up. Perfect price. Fair money in my trade in. Hands down best dealership in the triangle.

Checking in! This Tuesday will be great!

On 12 April 2025, I took my Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled to Garcia Moto in Raleigh for its major…read moreDesmo service. Because the valves needed to be check/adjusted, I trailered the motorcycle to/from so the engine would be cool and I could get it done same day. To check and adjust the valves, the fuel tank had to be removed from the bike. Took it out for a ride first thing Sunday morning. At around 7:30 a.m., shortly into my ride, my legs started to feel wet. I looked down and noted gas spraying from under the fuel tank all around my left leg (spraying because these scramblers have a high pressure fuel pump). I looked up to figure out how to safely get off the state route and immediately felt my legs getting really warm. Looked back down, and flames were shooting out around both my legs. I killed the engine, stopped quickly with the front brake, and jumped from the motorcycle. To be sure I was driving normal highway speeds, on my own, in Eastern NC. No twists and turns or anything aggressive. Called Garcia Moto from the site and left them a voicemail. Also emailed them this video. Having not heard from them by Tuesday at noon, I took what was left to them to see what could be done. The service manager told me that he had received my messages but had been directed by the owner to not contact me--that Garrett Garcia just wanted to wait and see how things would play out. Garrett refused to take any responsibility, ultimately saying I would just have to deal with it. He and his Ducati tech insisted the valve service (which required removing and reinstalling the fuel tank) was super simple and that there's NO WAY they could possibly be at fault. If you know anything about bikes, you know this is not true. There are all sorts of things that could go wrong when servicing a motorcycle, which is why the service cost me over $1660! Even Ducati North America investigated the bike and told me there were no manufacturing defects in the bike. Incidentally, the service required them to also check all fuel lines and fittings, so even if they didn't damage them and the components were faulty, that is LITERALLY THE POINT of the service. Pretty gutted. I'm 39 years old and this was the first vehicle I ever purchased brand new. Took exceptional care of it and wound up with nothing the very first time I let Garcia Moto take care of my motorcycle.

DONT EVER LET THEIR TECH TOUCH YOUR BIKE They are not going to stand by their work. The owner told them not to respond to the person who it happened to. I mean, Boone just makes it way too easy to just casually buy a motorcycle while also taking care of your beard. It's also a cool hangout spot. I mean before you know it bikers are going to start growing beards because of this place and a world full of more beards is a better world. I really dig the repurposed motorcycle helmet that has a plant growing out of it. Most people would just trash that helmet but Boone is out here saving the planet by upcycling...I guess he does more than sell cycles. The outdoor area with the fire pit and benches is really nice to chill and have a cigar and share beard care tips with all the bros.
