My husband and I have been here many times before and have usually had good experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, this was the worst massage I've had here. The massage therapist used way too much pressure than was needed and was too aggressive. She also focused on techniques and areas I specifically mentioned I didn't want and did not focus on what I requested, which made the session uncomfortable. The head massage was also not what I expected. Instead of an actual massage, she mostly scratched my scalp the entire time. When she worked on my neck, the pressure was extremely intense and she squeezed so hard that it honestly made me feel worried something might get injured. Another issue was that when the massage oil dried up, very little was reapplied, so there was a lot of uncomfortable friction during parts of the massage. Unfortunately, I left feeling more sore and in more pain than before, which was really disappointing since I was hoping to feel relaxed and relieved afterward. * FYI - The massage therapist I had on 3/7/26 had black, kind of frizzy hair, and wore a light grey sweatshirt and sweatpants with black sandals. The masseur, Helen, had wonderfully strong hands and the hour was a needed gift to my body and back and neck. The addition of hot rocks was amazing! I thought she would leave rocks passively but she slid them over the spots I with large muscles and it felt amazing! My husband like his massage so much he fell asleep haha. Interesting experience - 3rd time visiting - opted for one of their package 1hr massage with free hot stones and 1hr European facial. Price is not listed upon booking but found out it was $160. Booked it last minute and came upon arrival a few minutes early but no one was there at the front desk, waited a few moments and then back in and still waited The spa attendant came mid way with a plate of food and stopped upon seeing me. Didn't ask who I was, didn't do an intake form, just asked if I been to the spa before. She hurriedly prep the room and asked about pressure and left without me responding. The MT I had - not the same person I booked the facial with only asked once about pressure and that was a few minutes into the massage. Did not ask about any focus points or pressure for the entire hour. Did basically a full body massage and did not use the hot stones. Had more firm pressure and did use much lotion to create the smooth sweeping motions consistently. Overall massage was nice but behind my calves felt a bit off. The Est. Came in toward the end of the massage to set up which was distracting because lights came on and additional noise in the room. She did not explain anything that was happening during the entire facial and I even indicated it was my first time having this type of facial. Facial was conducted and more of a face massage and quick scalp massage that occurred. Face did feel smoother after the service. I still return to the day spa for my monthly treat to self - I think the overall experience starting off to how it ended during the transaction caused for a lesser star otherwise massage and facial did its job. Enjoyed my first visit to Glow! Online booking was easy and they had a lot of specials to choose from. I opted for the "Day Off - Relax Time" package - a steal at 2 hours for $195. The package included a 1 hour body massage, 30 minute mini facial, 30 min scalp massage, and a hand & foot scrub. I had booked with Bella, but my time was ultimately split - I think the person I had in the beginning was a sub, and then the rest was with Tiffani. Tiffani was great - she definitely went over time and gave me a longer facial, but I was a little bummed to not have had a full scalp massage - neither of them focused much on that area. When we first walked in the receptionist greeted us and asked what service we were here for I had a coupes gift card and let her know we had made an appointment. I had to remind her 3 times what we were there for and even showed her the gift certificate that stated what it was, she didn't look at it or take it till the 3rd time. From my understanding (based on seeing the photos and reviews) you get champagne and small chocolate with the package that we had. Well we didn't get anything until we were on our way out and the reception briefly mentioned if we wanted a glass of champagne (which was included in our package) so obviously we took it but made us drink it in the lobby as we were on our way out. She didn't ask us if we wanted more but definitely did not feel like what I've read/seen. Over all the experience was average. One of the massage therapist was more experienced than the other. So my partner and I had very different experiences. One of us got everything the package stated while the other got a fast sweep of it. I came in for a nice relaxing massage with my boyfriend and I was stressed the entire time. My masseuse named Joy kept hitting me in my head and was rushing; she also smelled like she just ate and i feel like i smell like her food. I didn't feel relax and just wanted it over. when i addressed my issues to the receptionist; the manager was there and only offered 10$ off of a 210$ bill. a nice gesture but it could have been a better discount for what I experienced. I had a 90 minute massage today with hot stones. It was my third time here and with Bella. It was a beautiful massage and I was feeling so relaxed and content. When I was done, Bella thanked me and I thanked her. While I was still under the sheet, she leaned down and whispered in my ear 'can I ask you a question?' 'Sure' , I replied- then she inquired as to how much I tipped her last time? I knew it was $20, which is approximately 20% of the $120 cost. I told her that I had tipped her $20 and we were both quiet. Then she said 'my clients usually tip me $40 or $50. Hmm... okay. That kind of ruined my vibe. I don't ever in any way want to be cheap or unappreciative of the service that I receive, but a tip is a show of gratitude and now I've been told that mine was inadequate. I felt bad and I let her squeeze me for the $40 that she requested but also was paying her severance, because she clearly doesn't appreciate my loyalty which going forward, will be shown to a new studio & a new masseuse. The reception and waiting area was great, we were greeted warmly and were quickly offered some champagne and to their yummy treats, they had cupcakes, macarons, fruit and chocolate. We were then showed to room where it was a bit chilly since they had a fan on, the floor was very sandy which later we figured it was from scrums they were doing that day and was very frustrated because I tried to wipe my feet as best as possible but got some on the massage table, the massage was just okay, the masseuse was very inconsistent with how much time she would massage each side, I had the hot stones and were used very little on me, whenever she did massage my leg and feet (which were hardly) she would forget to cover my back up which made me get really cold. Super impressed by this day spa! My boyfriend purchased a 2 hour deep tissue couples massage for my birthday, and this place exceeded my expectations. Upon arriving, you fill out a form that indicates areas you would like them to focus on. We were placed in the room a few minutes after arriving but had to wait 15 minutes for our masseuses to come in. As a result, they provided free hot stones throughout the massage I've never received a massage longer than 1 hour before, and was so impressed my the strength and grip of the masseuses. Spent my Mother's Day at Glow Day Spa this morning and had a 90 minute massage with hot stones, 30 minute scalp massage plus a body scrub that was INCREDIBLE! After the scrub I proceeded to their shower area complete with spa towels and a robe. Finished my session off with mimosas and sweet treats! Juana (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was incredible! When she entered the room she wished me a Happy Mother's Day and asked me how I was doing. I jokingly responded that I was have a hot flash (due to age ) and she immediately, uncovered my feet and began a type of pressure massage. She explained that while it would not stop the hot flashes it would lessen the intensity from her working on certain pressure points. I was completely shocked when they started to subside! She knew her stuff!!! My husband and I are regular customers and we always have great service. The staff is always kind, accommodating and professional! I've never taken the time to write a review (which I should have) but today's treatment was icing on the cake! Thank you Glow Day Spa for making today's experience so special! Terrible! Worst massage I ever had. I can't even fully explain how bad it was but I was gifted a 2 hour massage by my husband for my birthday and was so excited. First thing, I laid down on the massage bed and I could feel the metal on the face rest on my cheeks and forehead. Super uncomfortable. Then the massage, not only was it terrible, the masseuse was loudly yawning the whole time. She wasn't using enough oil so it wasn't a smooth massage. I felt bruised for a few days after. The whole thing got so irritating that I finally decided to just ask to end the massage early. I told the receptionist about my bad experience and she told me a manager would call to see how they could rectify the situation. It has been two week and no one has even reached out to me. Please go somewhere else !! Let me start by saying that I tried to work this out with the spa before posting this review. I booked a bridal party of 8 for massages and facials this last weekend. I was told that the spa would provide decorations (which they did not) and Nancy advised that we would have private rooms - as is customary. We did not ask for a couples massages. They put me in a private room first, and then randomly paired up my guests and stuck them in SHARED COUPLES rooms. 100% unacceptable and appalling. I believe they put me in my room first so I didn't see what was happening. I paid the $1200 plus tips before my guests told me what had happened. In addition, by that evening, most of my guests (me included) were complaining of bruising and one guest that had clearly advised of a shoulder injury was further injured when the masseuse pulled her arm without warning. They admitted that they forgot to tell her about the injury. The spa admitted that they didn't tell me about the shared rooms because they didn't want to lose the booking - apparently they don't have 8 private rooms anyway. I asked for a partial refund of $600 given that I did not receive what was agreed to and paid for. They refused to make it right, offering a $150 refund and a free service. There are other places to go. I disregarded the bad reviews - please don't make the same mistake. Update to Owners comment: Helen - I'd love to understand what 'lies' you are referring to. This spa assisted in helping us plan a wonderful experience, they let us decorate the waiting room the day before, stored the wine for us and let us have a snack and wine before our services! I really enjoyed my facial and message, both ladies were wonderful and attentive. The receptionist during the week really assisted us in decorating on Friday and a separate receptionist who works on the weekend really helped put Saturday together for us. Disappointed about the facial I got here. I called about needing extractions for some closed comedones i have and i was scheduled with Nikki. she did not even attempt to do any extractions. it was a relaxing facial but I did not get the treatment i called in for. she also left some face mask still on my face. receptionist was nice though and said she would have someone more qualified to do extractions next time at a discount. read more
