The most unprofessional workers. Owner David charged me for 3 hours for a 2 hour job. His movers moved like 4 boxes at a time on a dolly when it could've been moved faster on a flatbed provided at the storage unit. When I asked one of the movers if he can add some more items on his way down. He told me not to talk to him. I called the corporate office and they referred me back to the mover/owner, David who then said we are moving it and never said anything to his staff. This has been unprofessional and mentally draining. I would NOT recommend this company. Also, David the owner told his movers to stop moving things off the truck to my new location until the cash app is completed. I showed him the picture it was paid from the app and the confirmation from my bank that it was processed. He literally stood in my driveway and told the movers to wait til it cleared his phone which took 5 or so minutes. So everyone is just waiting outside. Update: Let's add Thieves to the review. Thought it was just the food they went through the day is the move. Didn't think I noticed? I've completed unloading and the box that I packed my Nikon camera in. The camera was stolen. Oh and their only refund for this catastrophe is $119. Haven't received yet. This company is a scam. Quoted $519 ended up being $1500. These guys were sick, taken breaks. Come to find out only 2 are regular workers and had already completed a days work before arriving. They milked they clock, Then milked some more. This is way unreasonable for the job. 13 hrs for 3 bedrooms. Like I said before, I tried to contact the owner, and even asked why it was taking so long. I know people who used Charlie's angels Movfor a 7000 sq ft home in half the time and half the cost. Taking advantage of single women here. Honestly, Wow. These movers were outstanding. They truly surpassed my expectations of movers. They were prompt, polite, and arrived ready to get the Job done. There was complete transparency with the cost/estimate, which was reviewed prior to the start via email and paper copy. They accept cash or money order, no credit cards. Prior to the move, I made my appointment with them about 1 month in advance. They called the day before to confirm, which was great! I would whole heartedly recommend and use these movers again. I feel this company is a scam. The movers took almost 6 hours to move a studio condo. The gave me a quote of around $250. The total ended up being $654. They would not even give me a receipt. I had to take a picture of the bill. Also, they would not use my credit card for payment, which is how I booked the movers. They would only take cash or a check. They did not take good care of my items. I could hear boxes falling and crashing down from when they were putting my items in the storage unit. After the move was finished, I spoke with the customer service rep "Angela" and stated my frustrations. What a team! After over a month searching for movers. I settled on Toda Moving Storage. I can't believe the three young men that were sent . Kingsley and the crew met every request. They helped with the arrangement of my items eagerly to oblige. Not only were they great at what they did but all of their communications ended with the word "ma'am. I had a great experience with this company. I picked them because they were the most affordable option I could find for a small move that included a piano (not everyone will move those). They showed up on time, were quick and very helpful to arrange furniture when we arrived at the destination. A lot of the furniture was antique furniture that was all handled respectfully and transferred without a scratch. The owner helped with the move and actually found a box that was filled with coins - he brought them immediately to my attention. Though it cost more than I was quoted. I was quoted 420 dollars. I wanted to use professional movers because my husband had hip surgery and the doctor told him not to lift more than 10 lbs for 6 moths - a year after surgery. I didn't want to get U Haul and have my husband back in the hospital for at least a few months then to a nursing home for rehabilitation for another few months or worse paralyzed from helping move stuff from our old apartment to our new apartment. They were professional and worked hard.if the worst I can say is it cost more than a quote and my mom probably won't call me for a year or two or for the rest of her life then it was worth it. read more

The second time because I refused to pay for 3 movers (I only needed 2 movers) because I have less than a full bedroom set. It does not take 3 men to move 5 pieces of furniture! Are you kidding???? I asked if they had availability on a certain date to do my move and she immediately and flatly replied "no, we don't" and then hung up. Buyer beware. The owner, David, was part of the 4 men crew but the last 3 hrs, all he did was fold blankets used for moving, leaving 3 guys to do the unloading. I was quoted on a 4 bedroom with living room, family room and dinning room. Gave them all inventory. I decided to move the living room, family room and dinning room and majority of boxes myself to cut cost, all he had to do is move 4 bedrooms. I even disassembled everything! I hired them to move me on 2/6/2018. Make sure you never use this company, they are by far the worst moving company I have dealt with in 20 years. The estimate was half of the actual final cost, hours before the move they called to say there would be only 2 movers not the 3 they quoted. The move took 6 hours, not the three that was quoted. The truck they showed up in was not large enough to move everything, and had to find a way to move a storage closet full of things myself after the fact. Despite having all boxes labeled with what room they belonged in, and even signs upon the doors of all rooms, less than half of things were actually put in the correct rooms. Many of the boxes arrived crushed and upside down. They cracked the support back of my couch and the arm broke loose, and they refused to file a claim and reimburse me, so that is another $800 I am out on top of the several hundred just to get them to move me. They left wads of tape and tape rolls everywhere at both the old and new place. read more

I was pleased with the moving crew. They wrapped our furniture before moving and took care of the fragile items. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move. They were not able to fit all of furniture in the truck. They wanted to load all the boxes first then the funiture. I wished that they had calculated how many boxes to load so that all of the furniture would fit, because we could have moved some of the boxes in our vehicles. We now have to rent a truck to move the rest of our funiture. read more

*****Blatantly Honesty***** I used this company for a very short move, 5 days to be exact; when the owner came to my old residence everything was set to go and it literally took him an hour to complete the task I was charged the full 3 hours plus the service call fee and full month storage fee for the entire service! I called back to speak with the office staff and told them about it and they were rude; asked them for a move out and they tried to refund my money on my credit card and told me upon delivery that I would have to provide the previous paid amount plus 436.00 for the move out from the storage WHICH THEY DON'T OWN THEY RENT FROM A STORAGE COMPANY THEMSELVES, had me sign a waiver that I had authorized my credit card then upon arrival with my delivery CASH would need to be paid; the movers were very professional, and it took them literally 20 minutes to bring my items into my home and i was still charged the 3 hour minimum rate! I would never ever ever use this company again nor should you! The price gouging with this company is REAL so beware! Not worth a rating! read more

RUN RUN RUN!!! should have never even gave this company my card information. I was promised a free night with overnight storage due to moving in my new home a day later. They were very nice initially until they got my card info! I called one day prior to my move to confirm everything and they said they would have never told me I would have got a free night, plus there is more costs associated with the move! They said they would call back to see what they could do for the free night of storage. Didn't hear anything by the end of that day. The next morning I'm calling multiple times... no answer.. left voicemails. They didn't call me back until 1 hour before I moved. By that time I had to get a uhaul because I didn't get a call back, and I didn't have the money for all the extra fees. It took me and my wife 12 hours to move our things due to no help. I told them not to come because it was too late and they charged my card $240 ! I've called and left voicemails for the manager to call me, no returned phone calls. Very unprofessional! This company is a bunch of fraudsters. Hopefully this message reaches at least 1 person considering doing business with them. Please believe the low reviews, they must have their family and friends posting the 5 star reviews! UPDATE 8/6/2019 in response: This says something about this company, they respond on Yelp to help their image but would not return my voice message. Very unprofessional. Do not believe the sales people over the phone as you can see from their response. They will offer you all kinds of discounts over the phone, but once they have your card information, they are clueless to what was offered to you, and the extra fees will be hundreds of dollars. I worked in customer service for years, and I would have never treated any of my clients like this. Own up to your mistakes, apologize for the inconvenience, and don't take peoples money do to your error and your business will have better reviews. read more

DO NOT USE THEM! They ruined my bedroom set and my walls at both my former and current residences and so I filed a 41 page claim and waited six weeks without a response from them. I emailed them twice and they finally responded with this generic response "After reviewing your claim we have determined that our crew is not responsible for the mentioned damages. Based on the information provided and a discussion with our Foreman the damages were pre-existing." So, naturally I am beyond outraged with this company because they are taking the word of a 21 year old and blatantly denying my entire claim because they do not want to pay for the damages. I watched these movers try to wedge my horizontal dresser down my narrow stairs and they were just shoving the dresser to get it down. It took them 20 minutes with three of their guys to get finally get the dresser from the second floor to the first floor. I have never seen anyone disrespect someone else's property like these three kids did. Sadly, we went picked a company that was priced right in the middle instead of going with a more expensive company. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a more reputable company. I have reached out to the claims department and the company asking for the owner or someone from the claims department to call me, but they are just ignoring me hoping that I will go away. That is certainly not going to happen! I am going to rate them on every site that I can find that they are listed on, contact the BBB and take legal action as they damaged approximately $2k worth of furniture. read more

I used this moving company when I moved in August, BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE. This company made my moving a horrible experience. Here are 'some' of the complaints: -They charge on the hour. $119 each hour and they will make sure to stretch the move as long as they could. A move that should't take more than 6-7 hours (ground floor to first floor 6 steps up, they estimated 8 hours) took CLOSE TO 12 HOURS!! I had to quietly bribe the movers with a $20 bill to speed up the work otherwise they never finish... for the last 2 hours I shoved up my sleeves and physically helped them to unload the truck otherwise they would never finish... -Movers give you a terrible attitude. 1 hour into packing the crew manager tells me he needs 30 egg boxes now (to wrap up the glasstops), I told him I don't have, they didn't tell me in advance. He says OK, I will wait till you go out and buy them. I had to go to the store, buy the 30 boxes and they ended up using ONLY 12!! wasted money and time for nothing. -Damaged alot of stuff. they messed up and damaged the crown on my China closet and this dumb guy screwed a phillips screw in the $20,000 worth furniture. Also my table glasstops was chipped. -They did a terrible job with reassembling the furniture, I had to send them away before finishing reassemble everything because I couldn't pay more for another 2 hours. I ended up doing it myself. -They did NOT leave a receipt for me, crew manager said that he lost it..... I couldn't even claim the insurance. -And they are NOT fully insured. They only insure you a few cents per pound. If you want full coverage you need to pay extra. Plus many many more flaws that are completely ridiculous (they used my tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture, now some tools are missing) and I'm not going to waste any more time to list them. I have used him to move my home goods locally, and he gave me an estimate for the job, he didn't deliver all the stuff for a few days, after promising me every day that he will deliver it, and wont charge me more for the delay in his delivery, he finally agreed to deliver the rest only after I pay him a ridicules amount of money that was never agreed . He didn't even put together the stuff at the new location. I had to hire someone else to complete the move. After everything he still kept some of my belongings on his truck. I had to get the police involved in order to get the rest of my stuff. Stay away from this moving company, make sure you ask at least 5 people that have used him in the past for references . read more
