Since then, I have received countless texts & calls asking me to call back. I have blocked a handful of different numbers. Last week I received a letter in the mail, thanking me for choosing them. I did not. I have specifically not chosen this office. They texted me a few days ago and I wrote back asking them to never contact me again. Today, I received two text messages asking me to return some sleep device that I have never even heard of. I have no interest in interacting with this office ever again. I know they're going to write a response to this review apologizing and asking for more feedback so that they can improve. I don't care. This, and any other negative reviews I choose to write will be the only feedback you get from me. I have given you plenty of feedback, plenty of indications of how you can treat me so that I feel respected. It's clear that your office's desire for business is greater than your desire to respect me. If you're a trauma survivor, run from this office. I was upfront, asked them for help, told them how they could support me, and their response was telling me they "know how to handle people like me" and then the dentist continued to use a pick on my teeth and gums, all while literally telling me "I'm not doing anything. I don't know why you're upset" Gaslighting. Update: they're still reaching out. This office doesn't know when to stop.

I felt like choosing a new dentist was just a crapshoot and my first visit did not do much relieve my anxiety much. I hated the initial set up and especially where I was forced to take a picture of myself with this device I could hardly handle. I wasn't warned that I would have to have a picture taken and it really irritated me. However, although Dr. Nimini's office staff was not initially that welcoming (I put it down to youth and lack of training), the doctor herself is very kind. What I like about Dr. Nimini is her willingness to explain fully anything I don't understand. Also, when I expressed dismay about needing crowns on two of my molars, she kindly explained my options and how my teeth were cracking and I needed these to save my teeth. I'm still not happy about it (the pain, the grinding down of my teeth to nubs or the expense), yet I see that there were not many better options. Lastly, I appreciate that this dentist office set up a credit account for this procedure since I don't have dental insurance. I am completely bummed out that after years of perfect teeth, things are going wrong. But, what I like about this dentist is her patience and understanding.

After the doctor looked at my teeth, I was presented with an outline of services for over $300 and was told to sign it so they could proceed. I asked for clarification because I was told at Delta it would be much cheaper. She looked at me blankly and said I agreed to the charges when made the appointment. I said no, that's why I have insurance. I pay portion & you bill them. She still said nothing, so I said Let me call, because there is a disconnect.... to which she said "call who ever you want" I did and again Delta said you only pay the contracted amount & asked to talk to the worker. I attempted to give her the phone so thos could be straightened out, but she told me "I don't have to talk to anyone. You need to pay this bill." Needless to say, I left and my insurance provider found me another office ( Brident Dental in Euless, TX on Main st) and they fixed the tooth for the correct price. I would also like to say, when I was in the office and elderly lady came in asking why she was getting bills from their office when her Medicaid should cover everything....I think there is fraud going on here & hope it is investigated.​

After my tooth was removed she didn't push the gauze in right away. She left for like 5 mins to go assist with something else and when she came back my mouth was all bloody due to no gauze. When she saw it bleeding she then vacuumed out all the blood with the sucky thingy and then applied the gauze. Other than that the place was clean and the people were nice. They even had drinks in the waiting area and toys for the kids to play with while waiting and toys for them to take home after their whatever service they got. I highly recommend this place.

Checking in, they called me by name, despite never having seen me before, and filling out all the "new patient" forms was all done electronically, via tablet. None of that balancing a clipboard on your knee while trying to get that cheap, corporate promo pen to work... Dr. Macalik came out to the waiting room personally and walked me back to the exam. All the processes and procedures were performed smoothly and professionally, but they never lost any of the "human" touch. Everyone involved spoke "to me" and not "at me", making me feel welcome and comfortable during a somewhat painful episode. I would recommend Dr. Macalik to anyone who is seeking a consummate professional who has built a practice around a core of staff that really does seem to care about providing quality health care...emphasis on the "care".
