Had them clean my carpets and they turned out great. Noticed that along the border of the carpet where it met the wood floor the floor was scratched in several places. Called and informed them, they said it couldn't of been their equipment but would come take a look. Asked when they were coming out and they were available that same day but I informed them I couldn't be there because of work, they said they would call next day and haven't heard from them since. read more

The name on the flyer in the mail is Today's Carpet Cleaning and the invoice read Today's Carpet Care, the flyer is orange and black with a phone of 209-402-3834. I cut the coupon from a flyer in the mail as the prices enticed me. I called and specifically told the guy I needed our office cleaned. He did not want to come by and give me a quote, instead he said "it will be $85 to clean the paths in the office. That sounded reasonable so I made an appt. When he arrived the price had changed with some lame excuse that "I did not tell him it was an office and that all office cleaning is automatic $100,00." I showed him my notes of our conversation which did not matter to him. And, he added "the coupons do not apply to offices" which he did not tell me over the phone. ONLY because I had everything picked up and sitting outside the office did I allow him to go ahead otherwise I would have told him "see ya later!" As the wet carpet dries the spots are returning. It was a wasted $100.00. This business is whack and I would NOT recommend him to anyone! He gets one star because he was on time to take my money! read more

If I had read these reviews before having them clean my carpet, they would never have entered my home. I had used them in the past with no problem, so called them again and I am sorry I did. First, they called asking me if they could come about 2 hours earlier then scheduled - they then arrived about 10 minutes later. They were here for a very short time. My carpet is not clean. This carpet is only 2 years old. It is a high quality carpet, and has never been cleaned. First, the technician told me that "carpet fibers break down really fast and then don't come clean." I called my flooring company, the one who sold me my stain resistant carpet, and they laughed at that comment. I let the technicians leave, and left my house thinking it would be better after it dried. Not the case When I called the owner late this afternoon, he accused me of being rude to him in our conversation. The truth is, I became angry with him when he said to me "I'm going to ask you one question, and I guarantee that you will lie to me". He asked if I had ever used a home cleaner on my carpet. I have not, but there would be no way of convincing him of that, because he "guaranteed" that I would lie to him. Unbelievable. He did offer to have other technicians come to look at the carpet (in four days) and told me that if I was rude to them the way I was to him, he would instruct them to just walk out my door. On top of this, when I visited his website to find email information, I saw that there is a coupon there for less than 1/2 what I paid for my 13x18 ft. carpet to be cleaned.. It would have been nice of him to let me know of that option when I called initially Based on those things, I will NEVER recommend him or this company to anyone. read more

I had heard a few good things about this carpet cleaner from friends then saw their ad in the Stockton Pennysaver "20 years of Satisfied Customers" so I decided to give them a shot. I called them at 10 a.m. in the morning for a 330 same day appointment. They told me they could do it but asked if I could make it 3 p.m. due to a work schedule I could not. So the owner (guy who answered the phone) said no problem. When 330 came a went I called again asking where they were, he told me they had a 1 hour time window to get there. WTF? Who ever heard of such a thing, but I let it go. When 430 came and went I called again. He told me he would call the driver and find out where he was and call me back. It was the driver who called me back not the owner, telling me it was going to be another half hour or "so" before he go there. "However long it takes me to get to you" is what he told me then asked me for my address. Why don't you have it? I told him I was scheduled to have a walk out that evening at 8 p.m. and if he didn't get there I was going to have to pay additional days rent, he didn't care and arrived at 520 pm nearly 2 hours after my original appointment time. I tried for nearly a hour to get a hold of the owner with no luck. Because I am not a shady person I paid the man his fee but I will be fighting this and decided to post this here. Do not use them, I don't even know yet how the carpet came out because I was so behind schedule by the time they were done. I am praying tomorrow they don't have weird streaks like some people said their carpets did. read more

Zero stars I would NEVER use today's Carpet Care! They spent all of 20 min. to do 3 bedroom, hallway and large living room. I politely said your done already? That was fast! The man got all defensive and told me to go look for myself if I doubt him, I said I was surprised that he got it all done and the spots out so quickly, good for him. He again got defensive and insisted that I just go look for myself if I doubt him. We went back and forth a bit. I told him there was no reason to be rude and that made it even worse. I just locked the door and left him there as he kept on telling me I shouldn't doubt him, this is his business ... I really wasn't doubting him, I was impressed at how fast he was???? Later I went to look at the carpet and there were big spots in 3 rooms and pink spots in 2 rooms. So I would say NEVER EVER to to Today's Carpet Care in Stockton NEVER EVER! read more

Had my carpet cleaned for Christmas. The young men arrived on time for my appointment, and we're very nice. I have a very large home, 5 bedrooms, family room, dining room and living room, I was getting the entire house done. After the job was done everything seemed good. I was told the carpet would dry in 4 to 5 hours. As the carpet began to dry the smell was HORRIBLE! I called and was told someone would come and take a look, no one came. By day 2 the carpet was STILL wet and smelly, still no one came. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Everything my seem Ok but it's not. I had to REDO my carpet to get the smell out! Wish I would have look on Yelp before I called for my carpet cleaning. read more

I had this company come clean my carpets last week and they came out awesome!! My carpets were in real bad shape and i was considering replacing them but a friend of mine recommended them to me and i gave them a call and came the next day. The technicians were very nice and polite and explained to me what needed to be done. They finished pretty quickly and carpets dried in around 4 hours. The carpets honestly came out better than i had ever expected since they were so bad! I will recommend them to my family and friends. read more

Seeing a coupon in a flyer, I gave them a call to clean 3 rooms. The man I spoke to quoted me at $75. The job was incredibly simple for them since we had moved out and the rooms were totally empty and I vacuumed before they came. Upon arrival, the man (Junior) informed me I didn't even have to vacuum because they have incredibly powerful machines (though turns out they weren't so amazing). We then discussed the price. I was surprised because he asked me what I had been quoted! How had they not come knowing I'd already confirmed a quote for the job?! Super unprofessional and questionable. After I told him, he called some other boss/person who said it was impossible for me to have that quote and the littlest he could charge was $80. Junior just shook his head and said he was just the "worker" so I could call back his coworker and fight over the price. I didn't have time to fight over $5 but was so disappointed with the lack of ethics and basic lying of the company. He then proceeded to try and sell me on a deodorizer. After declining the additional $15 for a carpet spray, he said he'd just throw it in. In less than 20 minutes they'd arrived, set up, cleaned and started payment. It seemed weirdly fast to totally clean my carpets. I was ready to pay with a credit card and he said the office was closed and he'd have to call someone else and could I pay with cash. Eventually I was able to pay with my card but I was very nervous about sharing that information then. Leaving, he said for any other jobs to call him and he'd hook me up with a good price (which according to him 20 min before he couldn't do anything about the price). When they left, I went to clean a window and laid the paper towel on the ground. It soaked up very dirty brown water from the carpets. Very disappointed in their price switch, the "talk to the boss" attitude, cash preference and questionable payment system and poor job, I will never use them again and wouldn't recommend them. read more

I have a three bedroom home with tile everywhere and my grout really needed a cleaning. On Monday, a friend of mine referred me to Johnny at Today's Carpet so I gave them a call and the guys showed up Tuesday morning and started to clean right away. I sat outside in my backyard and watched the guys clean the grout on the whole house. This morning I woke up and I was amazed that my grout looked the way it did when I first had my tile installed. Compared to other carpet cleaners Today;s Carpet really gave me a fair deal and I ended up getting 50% off the entire service. The guys that did the job were great, very professional, they respected me and my family, and did a wonderful job cleaning. Just had Today's Carpet Care out to clean the downstairs carpets before Christmas, which have taken a beating with two little kids in the house. The advertised rate in the Yellow Pages is $29.90 for two rooms. My wife called and confirmed that this was the case. No hidden charges, yada yada. When the guys got here they pointed to the small box above the rate in the Yellow Pages ad stating the $12 per room charge for "pre-cleaning". Turns out the published rate is only for steaming the carpets, actually putting detergent down to get them clean costs extra. So suddenly the $29.90 deal jumps by $24.00. Add another $10 for Scotch Guard and we're looking at $64.00 to clean two rooms. If we hadn't already moved the furniture they would have been going home empty-handed. So is the carpet clean? Yes. Do I feel like I've been had? Yes. Will they be back? No. read more
