Dr. Nick was my family dentist for over 20 years. Naturally, when Dr. Nick explained he was taking time to focus on his family, I continued, briefly, to patronize the practice with a new dentist! HUGE MISTAKE. Dr. Orza performed a root canal on my mother, my husband, and myself. WE ALL NEED TO HAVE THEM REDONE!! We are all experiencing pain. The worst part, after working on my tooth for 2 hours, Dr. Orza kept holding whatever goes into my mouth, in front of my eyes-very scary for squeamish patients like myself. Nope, I wont be returning. The entire staff, from the hygienist to Dr H, all very professional. I went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago and very pleased with the service they talked me through each step although I've been through routine cleanings for years. I was pleased since I relocated. I had the most amazing visit today. One of my caps popped off my tooth on Saturday and since it was a front tooth, I needed it fixed ASAP! I texted my hygienist and she told me she's alert the office. I called also and left a message. First thing Monday morning I got a call and they were able to fit me in. I got there early and they took me right away. I was in and out in half an hour. Everyone was absolutely amazing. Polite, professional, courteous. This practice began degrading in the consistent quality of service since Dr. Nick left. As of today, I am a former patient after more than 15 years of loyalty to this practice. I was told, by yet a new hygenist, that if I did not subject myself to a complete set of painful x-rays that were unnecessary since they were done last appointment, I would be dismissed as a patient. Unfortunately, due to the inconsistent staff and hygienists, I have had to deal with painful x-rays constantly, and I have to prepare myself mentally and physically before the appointment. I was told that I would not need a complete set at my next appointment and that I should only have to do full x-rays once a year, not every visit. But the practice now only sees patients as dollar signs, and I am no longer willing to accept substandard service out of loyalty. Today's Dentist is wonderful. Dr. Orza is an excellent dentist. The staff is so kind and welcoming. I never have to wait to be seen for my scheduled appointment. Kathy is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with billing, insurance and payment. All the dental hygienist are amazing, especially Amy. I have tremendous anxiety when it comes to dental visits. Today's Dentist eased my mind. Kathy, in the front office, was so kind and reassuring when scheduling. My appointment suppose be today at 9 AM. I called them at 8 AM notified them I already left my home at 7:45 but there are Heavy traffic and 3 accidents on my way, and GPS said ETA around 9:20 AM, so I told them I don't want to waste my trip , is it OK to be late around 20 minutes or cancel and reschedule. they said we will check and we will call you back, then after 5 min called they said that's fine, we put you at 9:20 AM. then after more than an hour and half of the rush driving and when I almost be there , they called me again at 9:20 and I told them I'm so close and needs less than 10 min to be there, she put me on hold for few minutes then simply she said we canceled your appointment and you have to reschedule!! My previous appointment, they let me wait at there office for more than 45 before can see the doctor and I never complained, and they canceled today after my long way driving. Unprofessional, Untrustworthy and very disappointing. I will never return back there. read more

Ah where to start? Every single time I come here (and it's been a lot lately) the whole staff is so upbeat and seem genuinely happy to be there. They are so friendly and helpful, and they all do such great work, from office to hygienists to dentists! It's clean, very COVID-safe, and they're very understanding of financial trouble and willing to work with the patient about it. Dr. Orza is a tooth wizard- I had some serious cosmetic issues with all of my front teeth and today they look literally brand new (and that's only the beginning of all the work I've had done here). I can't recommend this practice enough- they are so caring and good at what they do. Even after I leave GA I'll probably still come back in 6 months for a cleaning, haha. read more

Recently, Dr. Orza replaced a crown on my front tooth and he did it all in one visit and it was excellent. The crown matched perfectly. I highly recommend this Dental Practice. I agree with John C's statement 100%!!! The office manager is HORRIBLE to deal with. She is the worst!!!!! My claims are not filed correctly and they owe me money from a previous procedure that was 9 months ago, and they will not refund our money. It's only $39, but it's the principle of the matter. They never notified us of a credit or refund in that entire 9 months until I did some digging around. The office manager says it's the insurance companies fault, but from the research I have done, it points to her dropping the ball and not filing the claim correctly in the first place. Dr. Nick has worked on our families teeth for 7 years now. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there on our dental work, and we are leaving the practice b/c of the office manager. I don't know how long she has been there b/c I don't rememeber her from the last time I was there, but boy I won't forget her now. She refuses to put us in touch with the owners of the practice. I am disgusted by the way I have been treated by the office manager, whose name is Emily. I guess in this economy they must be able to afford to lose patients? I wish that I could get in touch with the owners of the practice so that they can know what is going on in there office! read more

Dr. Nick is the best dentist ever! Cannot say enough about his service and staff. Just went in to have a chipped tooth filled and was in and out in 15 minutes. He has also done two root canals and he makes the crowns while you are in the chair. Very gentle and walks you through the whole process. This guy is amazing! Dr Nick is very honest and professional. He is very meticulous and does excellent work. He doesn't try to up sell you on "changing all your silver fillings" or "make sure you use all of your benefits" pitch that some dentist try to push on you. And, the office manager that someone wrote about...I agree, but she has left and the lady that replaced her is very nice. read more

I went to this dentist office because I'd broken off a crown. I was quite worried I'd need a costly implant so I changed to a better insurance and waited until my tax return came in. When that was done (2 months later) I scheduled the appointment with Today's Dentist and they recommended I get there about 10 minutes early to do the paperwork. Within 2 minutes of finishing the paperwork I was taken back and they were diagnosing me. Dr. Nick looked me over and told me my options. I could go for an implant but or he could clean off the decay, repost the tooth and recrown it. He said had I come right away they probably could have even used the original crown. I asked him if it was him what he would do and he said he'd keep the tooth, that I could get another 10 maybe even 15 years out of it and then an implant after that was always an option. I asked him if he could get started today. He not only said yes, he had the crown making machine right there and they could do the whole procedure if I had an hour and a half more. It was refreshing to hear someone worried about my time. I said yes and they did the work and I am relieved and happier today. My biggest mistake was not coming to Today's Dentistry sooner. I have talked to my wife and we intend for our whole family to move to this practice. Everyone was very courteous and warm and Dr. Nick is a real professional. I have had a lot of dentists over the years (I'm 50) and he's a keeper. I can't recommend this practice more. read more

Dr. Nick Manocchio & Dr. Leslie Scalafini Patrick are awesome if you can stomach the office manager. My wife, youngest son and I have been patients at this office since 2007, having delivered thousands of dollars of insurance and co-pay revenue. Last week, when I explained my COBRA was over and wanted to continue as a cash patient, the office manager flatly refused to offer any discount whatsoever off the scheduled price - the inflated price insurance companies never pay. In this case it amounted to a $25 discount off the scheduled price for a cleaning. $25. Not $250. Not $2500. $25. In vain, I reasoned that I'd gladly pay the same as the insurance company in cash so they are not getting less for the service, that this will eliminate paperwork to submit, that it will save employee time/money and accelerate cash flow by eliminating the delay in payment. I never asked her to take less than what the insurance company would pay. Statements of logic, customer service and/or retention and business case reasoning bounced off her impervious bureaucratic mentality like pebbles against a tank: This is their policy and she did not have to give me a reason, only that she will not give a discount. WOW. Beware. A medical practice is more than the doctors who work there. The staff can make or break it. Now I know what a patient/customer is worth to her and others should know the same. read more

I've been living in Georgia since 1988 and have seen many dentists.I thought it was imperative to inform the public and anyone who is considering using Today's Dentist that Dr. Nick is by far the BEST dentist I have ever been to. He is a perfectionist (which is definitely what you want) and you can tell he thoroughly enjoys making his patients happy. His first assignment was to do a root canal. I was hesitant because the last dentist who gave me an injection made me cry. Ouch! I did not even feel the injection with Dr. Nick. Amazing!!! On Sunday, I cracked my front tooth veneer while eating a peach, which is never fun, and the office saw me the following day. Dr. Nick suggested a crown and that he can do the crown right in the office because he had the equipment so I wouldn't have to have a temporary and wait until it got back from the lab. Woohoo! Again, I did not feel the injection and this was my front tooth. My tooth absolutely looks gorgeous and better than it looked before and now I don't have to worry about cracking any more veneers. I could not be happier with Dr. Nick and Dr. Nick's assistant, Lana, she is the sweetest!!!!! There is no price one can put on the trust, confidence and security that is felt when I walk in Today's dentist and know the level of care and workmanship that will be performed.
