It was nice that they took me very quickly as a walk in, but everything else was a poor experience. They rushed a whole set in about 20 minutes, did not shape them at all, uneven thickness and length. I have more acrylic on the sides of my nails than on top of them and I had to pick it off. The polish dried with bubbles under it because it was so rushed. And lastly, absolutely no ambiance whatsoever, no music, decor, seemed like I was in someone's house. read more

I found this nail salon a little less than a year ago, they had just reopened with new owners at that time. I decided to get a full set, even though I only go to the same last for the past ten years, I decided to give them a try because they were so close to my home. Normally I only use the same lady because I never have any luck with artificial nails staying on and not lifting. Now one year later, this is now the only place I go to get my nails done! Everyone here is great! The prices can't be beat! Usually I never have to wait, unless I come at a busy time and even then I don't have to wait very long. I have never had a problem with my nails not only staying in, but now my nails last almost a month between fills! They also offer other services here such as eyebrow waxing & tinting, eyelash application, nail art, facial waxing & permanent makeup! They always have some special going on, so cost is never a problem. Also, there pedicures are heavenly! I recently started getting my eyebrows tinted here, instead of just putting hair color in my eyebrows myself. There eyebrow tinting looks so natural and afterwards my eyes look great! So if you're in the area this nail salon is absolutely a must go see! They are also very conveniently located at Hillsboro Boulevard and military Trail in the same shopping plaza as Latinos market. Come in and I promise you'll never go anywhere else! They are under new ownership for the past year and I guess the previous owners ruined the business. They are an okay nail salon. One lady who does my pedicures she's awesome. I enjoy going to her but it looks like everyone has the same idea as me. She's always busy. The others in the salon are not so great they don't take their time and they leave you with acrylic all over your nail shaped any type of way and your cuticles uncut. They finish a 30-40 minute job in 10-15 minutes where as the lady takes her time. If you can see the lady that sits in the first chair don't bother unless you go see Susan for a pedicure she's amazing. read more

And they don't force upgrades down your throat . It's Very chill-spot. I went to this salon and my full set came out horribly. The woman that did my nails gripped my fingers so tight that you can see the yellow in her fingertips. They were shaped so unevenly and some of my nails were crooked literally leaning to the side. She left so much acrylic on my fingers that I had to scrape them off and try my best to file the nails to look at least OK. I kept looking at them and was so bothered so, I called to ask if I could get a refund. The woman that did my nails answered the phone and replied "what's wrong with them they look nice, ask your friends and they will tell you they look nice." I responded, "I did and they agreed that they didn't." I told her I've had nails that had a way better presentation than these and I would like a refund. She said I can come back and she will fix them for me but I'm not going to give you a refund. Why would I go back when you didn't do the job I needed you to do in the first place. The amount of times I had to tell her to clean up the polish around my cuticles, to file evenly, etc. She told me "I've been doing nails for over 20 years", ma'am it does not show! I found this salon while I was travelling to the area for vacation, and while I wanted to like it (most of the reviews are excellent and the staff were all super friendly) - I left being really unimpressed and disappointed. I asked for a gel manicure with tips and left with nails which were all very inconsistent in shape and length. The lady who did my nails rushed through pretty much every step. I was also there during a time when they were extremely busy but rather than give the people waiting an accurate estimated waiting time, they told everyone to just "wait one minute." This is one of my biggest pet peeves with nail salons and after 45+ minutes passed, multiple people waiting started to get frustrated and leave. I completely understand wanting the business but honesty will always earn more customer loyalty. I would not recommend. read more

Went in for a pedicure and a dip manicure. I had a previous dip on my nails prior to this appointment, and I actually wanted to keep the length of my natural nails since they were grown out and I have been growing them out that length for a while. The nightmare began when he started breaking my natural nails with the drill. Next I had to keep asking him to fix it. He continued to get my nails and just file where it was broken. Next he was about to steal my nails, and they were completely uneven and the breakage was clear. When I asked him to fix it he started filing my nails to the point that they were all uneven and I couldn't even call it a shape. The girl working next to him started to see my frustration as he didn't speak English and only communicated by using sounds and pointing. After I told her what was going on I just wanted a square shaped nail and my nails were becoming a disaster what I'm assuming is the owner or manager steps in and says he'll fix it. Next he starts re-dipping the corners of my fingers to repair the shape, and end result was filing off almost all of my nails. I had to stop the process and get up and leave. Now I am on my way to another salon to repair all the damage that they just caused. I would say it's a clear sign not to enter a salon that is extremely slow. I get my eyebrows done here by Tammy. She does them so meticulously, first trimming, then waxing, and even tweezing to remove a few tiny hairs. The salon is very hygienic, and I like that Vietnamese people don't bother me with inane chitchat, they just do good work. read more

Tammy does the best eyebrows and only charges $7. She has been doing my eyebrows since 2003!!!!!!!!!! I won't let anyone else touch them! They do great nails BUT sometimes the clientele is a bit "rough". They own Nail Depot down the street, so if the clientele isn't your cup of tea, go there.
