While Dr. Sattam's exam and assessment was fairly thorough, it felt like she didn't really care about me as a patient. She arrived to the exam room sipping a beverage from the large insulated drink in her hand which she set down on the counter in the room before starting the exam. Next, she proceeded to identify a few significant concerns about my eyes and vision but offered no follow up. She vaguely mentioned several specialists who can run a number of additional tests but offered no referral or added information on how to pursue these services to find out more information. Finally at the end of my appointment she handed me a set of sample contacts to put on and just told me to see the front desk. She then went to the back of the office while I put on the sample contacts, packed up her belongings, and walked right past me once I reached the desk to leave for the day. I appreciate the fact that they offer appointments later in the day (I had a scheduled 4:45pm appointment for which I arrived exactly on time) however if leaving as soon as possible is the priority, I would recommend that they adjust their appointment schedule to their convenience.

Dr. Sattam was thorough during the examination and made sure that all my questions were answered before I left the office. I went during a weekday afternoon and although the parking lot was busy, I was still able to find a parking spot without too much trouble. Appointments are usually not fun but I enjoyed this experience. I will 100% be coming back for all of my eye care needs and would recommend them to anybody.

When they were ready she tried to charge me 500.00 bucks and I told her that wasn't gonna happen. I was walking out with no glasses and all my money. She changed her tune to 350 $ so I paid it. 3 months later one earpiece came off. Took them to her and next day she says they ready. When I put them on it fell back off. Next day she calls me back in and says she can't fix them and I just need to buy a new pair of frames... Needless to say she was told where to go and she lost my business. This optical shop has been unreasonably overcharging customers for many years. They collected…read morepayments from customers for services that should have been covered by insurance; however, to avoid the hassle of filing claims, they required customers to pay the full amount out of pocket. When customers requested that they file insurance claims--and even when the insurance company proactively contacted them with the same request--they flatly refused to cooperate. Furthermore, when customers asked for copies of their receipts or copies of their eye examination results, the staff repeatedly stalled and withheld the documents. When a customer discovered that they had been charged for unjustified fees on multiple occasions--and, worse yet, that the lenses provided had been manufactured with incorrect prescriptions--the shop owner became hostile, physically expelled the customer from the premises, and threatened to call the police. The owner is arrogant, rude, and refuses to issue any refunds. This establishment is a family-run business owned by a Vietnamese couple; they are malicious, greedy, and engage in deceptive practices against their customers. I urge everyone to avoid this shop--proceed with extreme caution!
