My allergy doctors office recommended him and what a nice doctor that listened to my issues it a first time visit. The ladies at the front desk all very professional and friendly . Very clean and nice office. He gave me the exam with a scope on my nose and did a testing for my jaw and cheeks. Prescribed antibiotics as I've had this over 2 months and come back in 3 weeks to see if any changes. Glad to find a new Ear Nose Throat Doctor.. I would recommend him. read more

This office is a TOTAL scam and the doctor is not a nice person. The first time I went in, he pushed that I have sinus surgery...I didn't feel good about jumping into surgery so I got a second and third opinion, which both ENTs said surgery is not at all necessary. Fast forward a few years later, I had lost my voice completely for weeks and needed help. This office is the only office I found with availability that was not booked months out (shocker). I went and was told I need to pay upfront for a "full exam" with a camera (in addition to my copay). I paid, no problem. Dr. Miller literally put a camera in my nose for no more than 10 seconds and said I need Flonase and prescribed an antibiotic. He was looking at the computer the whole time, I don't even think he looked at me and did not give me any info on why my voice was gone or what to do. I asked him why this happened and what can I do to prevent it and he said, "this stuff happens and you can come back if you have more issues" and walked out... WTF? A few months later, I was receiving bills and calls that I owe more money, I let the billing lady that I have 2 insurances and they need to collect from both insurances. She said okay, I'll reach out to your second insurances. A year later, calls and letters started that I owe money. I called back and the lady I spoke to said "the insurance didn't pay us so we need to collect from you". Umm I don't think so, I already paid $170+ in office and was told i paid all that I need to and now because you don't know how to collect money from BOTH my insurances, you come back to me? I don't think so. Terrible service, terrible staff, a bunch of money hungry crooks. Today I received a call, years later, asking for the money and the lady didn't even know the story and started arguing with me-I'm not paying another dime to you all for the terrible care and unpredictable bills coming from nowhere. Loser's! Do not go to this loser doctor-he is useless and uncaring, rude and a waste of your precious time. read more

10/11/24 UPDATE: Got my insurance claim today and this office over charge me on my deductible by $45. Had an appointment to see Dr Miller himself to check my ear for earwax build up. Unfortunately, i was seen by his PA. Thoughts on this is you make an appointment expecting to see the Dr but i didnt. The appointment only lasted less than 10 mins and i got hit by a frist time office visit of $130. I do believe that i have issues with my ear but it felt like the PA rushed the diagnosis. The staff who took my vitals is super friendly, but the front desk girl needs more friendly pill. After that the PA offered me to see an audiologist to test my hearing so thats another deductible that they will charge me. I wish the PA did more testing on me because i feel like they rushed the appointment because its closed to quitting time. So i guess i will have to search another way to get my ear check. read more

The office personnel left us feeling like our pain did not matter, and that other patients were more important. After many calls to try to get the referral re-approved and always being told by the office person there that they have many patients and that we had to wait until she was available to get to us; my daughter finally got her ct scan. at the ct scan office we were told that they would send the results to the Dr office and that they would call us. We waited and waited for their call to let us know the results or at least a call to schedule a follow up appointment which never came. We called and the same person told us that we should have called them and rudely said that they have many patients to take the time to call us. Once the explanation of benefits comes in, if one dollar more was paid that expected, I will be filing a complaint. No doctor's office should be doing this and according to my insurance, they have access to the same information they do. Todd Miller has often made me feel rushed and invaluable to his time. I had came here after months of discomfort and pain just for him to say I should just wait it out and take Tylenol and Motrin 24/7. I finally got him to schedule a tube being put in my ear after tests showed negative pressure. He preformed the whole procedure without me signing any documents. He did not tell me anything ahead of time to prepare me for the procedure. When I came in for the sinoplasty he did the whole procedure again while i was still going over the documents to sign. (most of the documents had the wrong information on them). He made me feel like he was in a hurry and never made me feel comfortable. Thank goodness for his office staff and nurse practitioner (i think). They are welcoming and supportive. read more

UPDATE: I went to LA to see a reputable ENT/Plastic Surgeon and he recommended a dramatically different course of action than Dr. Miller. The reason I saw 1000 red flags with Dr. Miller is he acted angrily and said fine, I will surgically cut that out of your jaw and it will be a huge recovery, etc. Compared to the Beverly Hills Cedar's doctor who ordered a cat scan with contrast, and based on the science, we are going to do an in patient procedure that will take less than an hour and doesn't touch the area Dr. Miller was saying he would remove. ***Dr. Miller took over a previous doctor's practice and now he's just Scary*** Dr. Miller flew in and stood uncomfortably close to me (I was sitting). He gave me 5 minutes and made sure I was so uncomfortable I didn't ask for more. I've had some great surgeons in my life and this isn't normal. read more

She is very knowledgeable has a pleasant demeanor and treats me in a kind and efficient manner during my appointments. March 2024. I have a painful "MASS" on my throat that scares me. I have already had MRI & CT Scan work done, ready for an ENT! My PMD referred me to Greater Long Beach ENT/Doctor Miller. Because my primary insurance is Medicare HMO I had also CONFIRMED (on the Medicare website) that Dr Miller "accepts" Medicare. When I called Dianna, she was very positive, and I could get an appointment THE NEXT DAY (seemingly). Because of this I didn't make an appt. with another ENT, because at that time that was a 2 week wait. After waiting thru the weekend to get a CT scan report (I have the CD), I got a call from Dianna (along with Amy). NOW Everything CHANGED: Because of my SECONDARY Anthem & Optum insurance (not being "acceptable"), I would NOW NOT be accepted! Both said to go back to my PMD for a referral elsewhere. When I called the other ENT, I now had to wait THREE WEEKS for an appointment. In my experience this is 'standard practice' with too many doctors' staff (et al), and I found it's true with Dr. Miller's. You're ('cheerily') led to believe you're ACCEPTED. Then while they have you 'hooked', only then do they determine your ACTUAL eligibility. I had been somewhat troubled that they didn't initially ASK me for ALL my medical coverage. Now, directly because of THEIR procedures, I lost the opportunity to see another ENT at least a week sooner. IF this helps someone else in avoiding this "SUPRISE", then this review is worthwhile. read more

I saw doctor Miller about a week ago and my experience was pretty poor. He came in and looked up my nose for a quick second on both nostrils and said I need septum surgery to help me breathe at night. The whole appointment as about twenty minutes; this included the wait in the waiting room and the exam room. I saw the doctor for about five minutes. I went to another ENT doctor and the experience was so much better. They did a CT scan and scoped my nose. Then she explained in good detail what the cause of my difficulty breathing. I'm now scheduled to have a couple of procedures done that don't involve surgery of the septum that Dr. Miller proposed. This doctor was not very confident that his surgery would be successful. That is incredibly disconcerting. Go elsewhere!! read more

It only took one day to get in, and when we arrived today, everyone was professional and friendy from start to finish. The office and exam room were impeccably clean and organized. I had a very negative experience with Dr. Miller's office over deceitful billing practices. I was pressured into a laryngoscopy in the middle of TWO separate appointments, unaware that there was any cost associated with this procedure because he made it sound routine both times. I was then hit with a large bill a couple weeks later that I must pay since the procedures were already filed with my insurance. I went in here because I thought I had an ear infection. the physicians assistant looked at my ear thoroughly. She also cleaned my ear and offered me an ear test a hearing test. She explained everything in detail. although I did not have an ear infection, she still offered to order some drops. I was so happy I came here. my husband always wanted me to have a hearing test. I ended up having it and it turned out. I have no hearing problem at all! I thought this staff was very friendly and professional. I did not have to wait long either. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing the type of care they offer. read more

Dr Todd Miller scoped me on multiple occasions and no one in the office warned me of the extra costs. I sat in the chair as he prepared a camera, told me it he just was going to "take a look" at what was going on in my throat. Seconds before the scope went up my nose I was handed a clip board with a consent form that I assumed was for medical procedure only ... at no time did ANYONE tell me the cost, or that it would be a covered procedure or even that it would be considered a "procedure" because he told me he was just "looking". He did this on 2 appointments and months later o get a 300$ bill from his office. The medical biller and office manager refused to help me. I am reporting Dr Miller to Anthems fraud claims and the medical board. I would have never agreed to some stupid camera to be shoved up my nose for this cost if I had been warned. My credit is now taken a hit. NEVER see this doctor. I didn't even mention how cold and rude he is. read more

Looked for an ENT in the area and came here based on the reviews. Unfortunately, these reviews do not support my experience at all. I booked to see the Doctor and at the time of the appointment was offered a PA and specifically asked not to see the PA but rather the Doctor instead and was told my appointment time was scheduled accordingly. Went to my appointment and found out towards the end it was a PA and not the Doctor seeing me. Made a comment about that and she had the Doctor come in who was visibly annoyed that he had to come in and deal with me at that point. I left with a less than great experience for sure. I ended up calling the office to cancel my appointment and notify them of why. Meanwhile one of the office "supervisors" when I asked for a Manager was rude and condescending when I asked. Canceled my appointments, let the Manager know why and will not be back. 10/10 Do Not Recommend this facility. read more
