She said you need to make an appointment, so I did but you can't do it on the phone. Waiting anxiously now to make an in person appointment. DO NOT GO TO THIS ENT. Dr. Miller is nice and professional, but both my wife and son had very bad experiences with him and his office staff. (My son) I took him to see Dr. Miller because his audiologist noticed he had redness and moisture in his ear. Dr. Miller said it was nothing to worry about. However, 1-2 weeks later, my son developed a very severe ear infection. (My wife) She saw Dr. Miller for an ear infection. Dr. Miller charged her an additional $80 for "removal of impacted ear wax". This additional fee was as a big surprise because we've gone to other ENTs (over the past 5 years) for the same service and never been charged this fee. To top it off, his staff were very defensive and unprofessional. When I called on June 8th (@ 1 pm), the girl said it wasn't their fault and it was my responsibility .. period. When I told her I would write a bad review on Yelp and never return - she simply said "that's fine ... and don't call back because you're not the patient." At a minimum, Dr. Miller should train his staff to be more understanding and professional. read more

Dr. Miller is every bit of amazing. He is a wonderful doctor, comprehensive ,thorough and very caring. You don't see that much these days. Dr. Miller also has an amazing staff that will go above and beyond to accommodate you. Although the receptionist Luz wasn't so pleasant (everyone is entitled to having a bad day), once you make it through those doors Danielle and Alexis will greet you with a warm smile and the office atmosphere will become calming. These two ladies were kind, courteous and authentic. This was a pleasant experience. It's nice to see a business that cares and hasn't become numb to the patients. Excellent Dr. Miller. Highly recommended! Ps the office was immaculate. There was no wait time. I was actually seen 20 minutes prior of my appointed time. I was able to get a same day appointment. read more

Dr. Miller & his Physician Asst. Stacey Lora were incredibly caring & thorough w/ me. Renee, Maria & Jennifer are apart of this wonderful medical professionals that were so helpful. As soon as I entered the office, I was treated kindly when I was checked in. I used to see Dr. Fishman. He retired & he definitely left his practice in good hands. Carrying on the tradition of excellent care. I was grateful because when you're such & your own GP won't help you, I knew I would be cared for here at this office. I was stunned that they fit me in. He, as an ENT doctor, was great for me previously. His office staff on the other hand is what gets the 1 star (because I can't give less) review. At his Newport office, I saw him back in 2015. The first bill showed up 18 months later... yes, a year and a half later... I attempted to pay twice over the phone by credit card, both times they never ended up charging the card, and gave me the run around, but kept sending me bills. They kept giving excuses about changing billing companies, nobody getting billed for a year and half, etc etc... Anyway, fast forward to last week... My primary care doc recommended I see and ENT for an issue. Having seen Dr Miller before, he was great. I saw his office is now in Los Alimotos. I figured as bad as billing dept was at his now closed Newport location, I liked him as a doc enough to make the far drive and give it a second chance. Made an appointment, drove all the way up there, got there early, filled out paper work, and they had me in a room within 5 mins of my appt time. Then someone came in, and read through every page that I just filled out, while typing it into the computer in front of me. They said he'd be in shortly. 50 mins later... nothing. No update, no doc. I leave the room and walk out to the counter and tell them it's been 50 mins, I can't wait any longer and have to leave. They all (about 5-6 of them) now suddenly are interested. One of them says oooohh.... well, we have two more in front of you, so it won't be much longer (Already 50 mins after my appt time with two more in front of me). I said, uh, no, i'm leaving. Another one jumps in and says, WHAT IF WE CAN GET YOU NEXT? I say, nah, i'm done. I just want my co-pay back and i'm done. Then they ask, well, did you see the doctor at all??? No, I didn't see him at all, I just want my co-pay back, and I want to leave. Would you like to reschedule? There won't be a co-pay if you do. I said, no thank you, I want my co-pay back, I'm done. So then I ask if they validate (It's only $3 to park, but now i'm over the whole thing) and they say yeah, and give me card for $1 off so it's only $2. (and then I give them the "really?" face. Another office staff came over and said hold on.. and gives me another one so parking was covered. Then when they are refunding my co-pay, another staff member said, well you have to book the first appt after lunch, then this doesn't happen.... I just stare at her... Meanwhile, earlier they said they get back from lunch at 1 or 130 depending on the day from overhearing them on the phone during check in, and my appt was 145. They ask me to come back the following day, I said no, I'm done. It's a 35-40 min drive each way, I've wasted a total of 2hrs+ already, and that ship has sailed. Had the doctor had an emergency come up, something running late, etc, I would have understood if there was any communication. Had I had an update that he's running about 30-45 mins behind, that would have been more understandable. But it seemed very, very, normal to all of the staff that after 50 mins, having two more people in front of me, seemed like a completely regular and acceptable thing. Honestly, I really liked him as an ENT when I saw him 4 years ago. He was great. But his billing staff in Newport couldn't get it together at all, and now his Los Alimotos staff is even worse. I was looking for a good ENT for years, I found one, and unfortunately his staff will keep me away from ever going back. read more

If I could rate MINUS 10 stars I would. Dr. Miller is cold and unfriendly. He removed ear wax from my ears which took less than 5 minutes. Then he looked up my nose, in my mouth and felt my throat, all in less than one additional minute. I asked him about a sore on my ear and he never even looked at it. I was there for a maximum of 6 minutes and he charged me $153. Unbelievable. read more

VERY DANGEROUS DOCTOR! First let me say that when I arrived for an already diagnosed by two prior doctors ear infection, this doctor first thing asked me to remove my jewelry?? WHY?? I removed my jewelry and he them looked in my severely infected ear and tell me he can't see the infection??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME. All the while distracting me only to forget my jewelry in the office. He refused to treat my ear infection and then the staff refused to answer the phone to me the several times I called to get my jewelry back . I left several messages with the service DURING BUSINESS HOURS and they never called me back . this office never answers the phoine during business hours and I have driven down there twice during business hours to get my jewelry back and they refuse to open the door. I have even had the huntington beach office call ver to find out why they refuse to answer and they could not get ahold of them. My wife was experiencing ear pain and went to the Hoag clinic in Huntington Beach on Monday 10/26/2020. The P.A. at Hoag clinic told her she had an ear infection and prescribed Amoxicillin. The next day Tuesday 10/27/2020 she made an appointment with and saw Dr. Todd Miller. She told Dr. Miller that she was having extreme pain in her ear. He was very dismissive of what she was telling him and minimized her symptoms. He told her that she barely had an infection and that she didn't need the Amoxicillin. He prescribed some drops for the ear, gave her a brochure on TMJ and sent her home. On Monday 11/9/2020 she was admitted to Hoag hospital in extreme pain and eventually diagnosed with an ear infection that had spread to the mastoid bone and caused her to become septic. She is now home with a pick line in .her arm and receiving antibiotics for 6 weeks to get rid of the infection. If Dr.Miller had done a thorough exam and not told her to stop the antibiotic she was taking, the pain and suffering she endured could have been avoided. read more

I am a new patient who was given a choice of several appt times when I made the appointment, so I wasn't being squeezed in. Apparently he doesn't respect his patients' time.
