I've been a Geico customer for over 15 years (nearly every year since I got my driver's license) &…read moreI had no issues until now. I took my vehicle to a shop for repairs in 2021 (almost 5 years ago) & unfortunately, that shop did a poor/faulty job and welded metals that don't provide a good seal, which resulted in a major oil leak from my front differential now (nearly 5 years later). I'm grateful to have Geico, since they have lifetime warranty coverage for faulty work. I am not happy about the many difficulties involved in the claim process for this. I initially spoke with 2 reps who seemed to be going above & beyond to help with this claim, but they didn't actually do anything they said they were doing. I provided lots of information that didn't get entered into my account, which delayed my repairs a whole extra week! I also haven't been getting returned calls as promised from my adjuster or her supervisor, & they put the warranty work under the original claim #, which means I don't get the benefit of having a rental vehicle (which is included in my policy) since I maxed out my rental coverage for the original claim back in 2021. How ridiculous! I've been a loyal customer for over a decade (nearly my entire adult life) & I'm expected to suffer for something I didn't cause. How hard would it be to create a new claim # with the original claim attached, or to just revise the original claim to include another round of rental coverage to make up for the unexpected & unnecessary impact of the original faulty work? I am looking at 2+ weeks before my vehicle is repaired. I don't even know yet whether there is more damage caused by this. Thanks Geico, for ALL of the additional stress that resulted in your customer service downfalls & rapatious policy when it comes to rental vehicles. I'll be shopping around to see how other insurance agencies are handling their customers' needs. Y'all can do better, Geico...I witnessed it for years!

Let me start off by saying that I've used Geico for several years now. Up until this recent…read moreexperience I've been extremely happy with the support, prices, and customer service they, as a company, have provided. This "review" is expressly directed at one small branch of Geico. The Auto Damage Adjuster and her Supervisor in Killeen, Texas are the worst I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. Latwonna Childress and her Supervisor George Miller are both nearly worthless. My truck was involved in an accident. Latwonna had it towed to Caliber Collision in Killeen on the following day from the Tow Yard it was at. For the first 10 days Latwonna sent me a couple of messages with updates, as did Caliber Collision. Then Latwonna completely disappeared for two weeks. Neither I nor Caliber Collision were able to reach her. She ignored several phone calls, several voice mails, and several text messages from me requesting a simple update. Likewise, Caliber Collision submitted their supplemental costs for review and approval, Latwonna ignored these as well and Caliber Collision was unable to get in touch with her. After two weeks of this I called Geico Customer Service, spending over an hour on hold, before speaking to a representative. Ironically, the Geico Rep was able to reach Latwonna within 10 seconds. Once we started speaking, she acted like I was annoying her by bringing up her being MIA for 2-weeks. Then claimed she "Just got the supplemental request" yesterday..... it had been 2-weeks... This was the most unprofessional behavior I've ever seen. No apology, no excuses, just straight up indignant that I was bothering her. I called her Supervisor, George Miller, the following day. I explained the entire thing to him. I explained that the rental Geico provided (that is part of the coverage I pay for) was due to expire in 2-days' time, and because Latwonna had been MIA for 2-weeks, the repairs on my truck were now 2-weeks behind schedule. He made so many excuses for her behavior, tried to quantify her ignoring my attempts to contact her, and then informed me that "Geico Policy" would not allow him to extend the rental. I asked him if it was "Geico Policy" to leave the repairs of a customer's vehicle in limbo for two weeks? He had no legitimate answer. So now I am without a vehicle, the Geico's Killeen Branch is free and clear and doesn't have a care in the world.... So if you're in Killeen, I would caution you to steer clear of Geico, especially the two agents dealing with the Auto Damage.
