    Vendor set up

I love going to Todd Farm! They have the best vintage finds at reasonable prices, most vendors are willing to negotiate prices. We wake up at 5:00am to get there by 6:00am so we get the best finds every Sunday. Most people close at 11:00, so it's great to do before brunch.

I love coming here. It's a miniature Brimfield! I always find a treasure or two. Great way to spend a Sunday morning.

I arrived at 10:30am and it was bustling but some vendors were already packing up. There were many treasures and since many vendors were ready to leave soon they were willing to negotiate and slash prices quite a bit. Everyone I encountered was nice. I got some tintype photos and a funny little framed advertisement for a dry cleaner that's also a thermometer. My dad got a bunch of old cowboy and Indian figurines. We were there until about noon and everyone was starting to pack up, some vendors were long gone. This place is huge so next time I'll definitely arrive earlier.

This is a fun flea market for those of us who love the thrill of the hunt for collectibles. The size of the place is manageable; much different say than Brimfield where to see everything you need days not hours. Here a full morning or afternoon will do the trick. You'll find everything from antique jewelry to furniture, childhood memorabilia, vintage clothing, classic china, glassware and the like. The dealers are of course looking to sell and as long as you're polite will usually entertain some price negotiation. It's part of the flea market ritual. On our trip yesterday, I found two vintage brooches that I just had to have; one for me and one for a friend. I also scored two antique brass candlesticks in the shape of anchors which appealed to our nautical sensibilities. But perhaps the score of the day was a gorgeous 10 gallon heavy copper lidded pot which according to the stamped markings on it is from the 1880s. We'll use it in our family room to store kindling next to the fireplace. There is free parking right on site although it tends to be crowded and cars get tightly wedged in. We therefore always opt to park just as conveniently across the street in a private field that charges a very reasonable $5.00. We prefer the larger space so we don't worry about someone denting our car when they open their doors. There are bathrooms somewhere; I haven't had to use them so haven't checked those out yet and a couple of snack bars. i advise bringing your own bottle of water and eating elsewhere. The market will be open until the last Sunday in November. Then it closes until early spring. People tend to get here very early in the morning hoping to score the best deals. I do get the wisdom of that but it's also worth considering going later in the day too...there may be less inventory at that point but dealers are looking to make steeper price cuts to move their merchandise. Either way, Todd Farm makes for a fun day.

bought a weed whacker from Bobby, which is for sure not his real name. I spent lots of $ fixing it but still broken. For shame.

Been going here since I was a small child with my grandmother. Fabulous vendors and property owners. Still enjoy this even now as an adult.

More packed here than any of those other places. I was (and still am) a bit confused... I guess the whole building is known as "Tilton & Cook Market Place" but each floor is a different owner.. or rather it's a business that rents out space to vintage/thrift stores. On the first floor I was told there were 5 different owners, but it's really hard to figure out whose stuff is whose and if you're entering another "store". Just remember where you got stuff. There is also a place to eat and relax on the first floor which is pretty cute, but I didn't look at the menu cause I wasn't hungry. People there were pretty nice. You really have to go digging around here (or in some areas). I was only able to get to the second floor... I think I was there for about 2hrs... there is just so much stuff! (I didn't even finish the second floor). From my understanding, each floor is its own "shop" (except for the first floor). But no one seems to have their own name... just "Tilton & Cook Market Place" or "Tilton & Cook Corp". Make sure to bring lots of cash... no one in the building can take credit/debit. And at last, the days and hours for these shops are all the same. I could be wrong on a few things here, but this is all what I gathered and understood. Im definitely gonna have to return. Such a great find!
