I've had pretty terrible luck w mechanics in my area. I searched for the best rated mechanic around, researched, and was very surprised to see that Todd's maintained a 5+review EVERYWHERE! I started going to him. The first time was an ok experience, other than them supposedly putting in full synthetic and charging $75 for my oil change without asking, but my other issue was fixed so I let it go. During that visit, they also rotated my tires. A few weeks later, I was having an issue w my tires so I took it to a different place just for a balance. The guy there told me that he could not get my L front tire off because whoever put it on last put it on too tight and he didn't want to break it. I called Todd's to have them ballance that one, since they put it on. They pulled my van in and I sat outside to wait. Few min later, the garage door opened and I heard the mechanic and Todd discussing my van so I went over , incase they needed any other info. Todd walks me over to his computer (right next to where the van was) and starts talking about me needing breaks (which are less than 7 mos old) . Then he told me there was a bolt that needed to be replaced (pointing to where my breaks were, tire was off) and it would cost $137 for this bolt...on top of breaks and whatever else. As we were talking, I saw something silver fall to the floor near my van. I told the mechanic "hey, I think you dropped a tool" he said thanks, picked it up and carried on. I told Todd I was going to wait to do breaks and whatever else he was trying to sell me because I knew I didn't need breaks and was going to get a second opinion. I told him as long as the tire got balanced, just throw it back on and I'd call to schedule if i was going to move forward, knowing i was going to go elsewhere. I paid $38 for that ONE tire to be balanced and left. I went to the bank, and as I was walking back to my van I noticed that I had a lug nut MISSING! W.T.H! I couldn't believe they let me leave like that, but now it was all starting to making sense! I have no idea how, at the time he was saying I need a $137 bolt, my brain didn't realize he was talking about the lug nut, or that the thing that fell on the floor WAS MY LUG NUT!!! They absolutely broke it, this time, or from last visit when they put it on too tight (was definitely there when i brought it in) and they OBVIOUSLY knew because Todd was trying to make me buy another, and the other guy picked it up off the damn floor! When I realized all this, i called and they did end up replacing it at no cost. As they should've. However, they still tried to charge me for their screw up! And pretty much lied to my face. They may be good at what they do, although tires are pretty simple, but they are definitely NOT honest. To me that's the most important quality in a "good" mechanic!

Service almost killed myself, my S/O, and our unborn baby. Do NOT go here!!…read more My significant other had work completed on her car completed 6/13/25, in which they replaced the rear calipers. Her mother brought it in and told them she wanted them to fix any issues as she is pregnant with our child and wanted to ensure the vehicles safety. On 7/27/25, while we were driving we heard what sounded like rock hitting the bottom of the car over and over as we drove up a hill. When going down the back side of the hill, we hit the brakes to slow down only to have the car not slow at all. Luckily, we were on a slower road at this time and were able to roll to a stop on a hill and put the vehicle in park. Upon inspecting the car, we saw that the rear passenger caliper was dangling down and that the piston had shot out. I am grateful that we are alive as we had just gotten off of the freeway a few minutes before this happened. We had to tie up the caliper to be towed, and are currently having pep boys fix our car and replacing the caliper and brake pads, which had just been replaced a month ago. Do not go to this location.

I was told it's a tough job and no one could help us for at least 5-6 days out. I then called Extreme and the lady that answered the phone couldn't have been any nicer She got us in the very next morning with assurances that they could get the job done. We brought the car in and the owner Sean took us in and told us they'd have the vehicle done ASAP and call when it was ready. Then while waiting to leave an elderly gentleman came in to get service and was a bit stressed about getting the car done so he could take his wife to an appointment....Sean the owner gave the gentleman assurance that his car would be ready with plenty of time to make his appointment. This is a very large repair shop and appears to be well set up. A few hours later Stacy called that our car was ready. We got there to pick our car and was blown away by the very Extremely reasonable cost. I even questioned it! I couldn't be any happier with the both service and cost. This had to be one of the best experiences dealing with auto repairs. We highly recommend Extreme Truck and Auto for your vehicle service needs and we will now use them for our auto needs.
