As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help and I showed my piece of flooring. The very nice gentleman immediately brought me to a flooring that was a near perfect match. He grabbed me a sample to see if it would click in and helped me figure out how we would use this since it didn't quite go together correctly should I purchase it. I took the sample and ran to another flooring store to just make sure there wasn't a better match and ended up going right back to lumber liquidators for this flooring. He made sure I had the right glue depending on how we were going to try to match the floor and had me rung up in no time. He even carried it out to my truck for me! My salesman told me the job would take 3-4 hours. It took over 12 hours, they started at 9:00 am and didn't finish until 10:40 PM. That's not a small miss; that's an entire day I wasn't prepared for. The salesman disappeared when problems came up.** During the install, a subfloor issue surfaced and I called and texted him for help. He never answered, never called back, and never responded to a single message. Once the sale was closed, the communication stopped completely. He didn't clearly explain how to prep either. That also took time. A two-hour delay with no accountability. Midway through, the manager missed my calls and the installer sat idle for two hours, pushing the job even later. When I raised this with the manager afterward, he offered no resolution, no apology, no credit, nothing. The conversation became unprofessional. To their credit, the installer who did the actual work stayed until the job was done and was professional about it. But the sales process and management response were poor. For a job of this size, I expected honesty about timing and basic customer service when things went wrong. I would not recommend 50 Floor based on this experience.
