This is our go to spot if I am missing some Asian food and if we don't feel like driving all the way towards Dallas. We have tried a lot of different things here and we normally order the Tokyo Express pho and some rolls. My favorite rolls are the sexy lady and the NCT rolls. Service has always been nice and friendly, sometimes slow if they are really busy. Had a couple of times, where they forgot to bring part of an order so I took 1 star away. Service here used to be the absolute top shelf, food was the best, came back here after a year of not being around waiting to eat at one of my favorite hometown places and i was extremely disappointed in how the place ended up. Service took forever, (there was 2 other customers there.) Once i got my food my rice was so stale that i couldve packed it in a muzzle loader and shot a mule deer with it. Steak was over cooked to the point it tasted like tile grout, my sushi tasted like it was bought from a HEB and sat in the car with the heater running for 48 hours. Absolutely horrible. read more

This place was amazing, I will be coming back. I traveled 45 miles just to get to this place on a Tuesday since a few locations around me are closed on Tuesday. This location is by I30 in Greenville. I got the Thai iced tea and it was the best I've ever tried i give it a 9/10. The sushi was really good, this place falls in my top 3 locations in sushi. The deep fried cowboy sushi was good, 9/10. The other was covered with cucumber and it was fresh, 8/10. The steak and sushi was good, it came with fried rice and vegetables in the same plate giving it a 8.5/10. Service was great! Food, okay. Teriyaki Steak Tips with rice, broccoli and sweet carrots. $12.95 Steak tips were tender, good flavor; broccoli also good flavor and still a bit crunchy, which I like. Carrots were too sweet for me, but I'm not a fan of sweet carrots. Crab pillows (crab cream cheese in spring roll form were tasty. $5.95 Fast casual atmosphere. They do offer a variety of sushi, but I wasn't sure I wanted to try it, so I opted for teriyaki. They also have hibachi choices. Overall, quick, decent, price isn't bad. read more

The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was clean, but the food lacked. The sushi was covered in sauce to the point you couldn't tell it was sushi. I have had sushi all the way from the Virginia coastline, to Nashville, to California. Usually I enjoy a well made dynamite roll from this restaurant but this last time I got it... it was drowned in what they call their signature "lava sauce". The smell alone turned me off from this roll. When I called, the woman who answered defended this grotesque sushi. I had high hopes after eating here the second time but i spoke too soon because I went through the drive thru for the first time to try their hibachi chicken and it is a disappointment. First, there was a fruit fly in my to go container. Second, the chicken is extremely dry and has no flavor. Third, the side vegetables are sliced carrots that taste like they've been sitting in a bowl of sugar. This place needs to practice consistency and higher standards. Great addition to Commerce restaurant options. While it is not the best Asian food I've had, it is by far the best and only Japanese food in Commerce. For a Chinese/sushi/hibachi restaurant in commerce it's a pretty good place BUT if you have been to other places you know this place is lacking. I order the teriyaki chicken with vegetable melody and the chicken was very very dry. The vegetables that were fresh were absolutely delicious and the best part of my meal but the vegetables that came from a can (carrots) were mushy and very very sweet. I also ordered the fried dumplings and they were very good. My friend ordered the squid and shrimp with vegetables melody and he had the same issue. The shrimp was definitely frozen and the squid was very fishy smelling and did not taste like squid at all. All and all for a place in commerce it's decent I might come back but I'm not sure yet. read more
