I just wanna say, there's something about their Yakitori that is BOMB delicious. The sweet carrots are to die for they're so good. Portion size is awesome, and their steak is amazing! Had Yelp delivery, chicken hibachi and extra veggies and mushrooms were delish. Generous proportion and quick delivery.

So I finally tried this restaurant since I was passing by and it was close to where I live. Everything was easy to get like ordering off the menu and letting the front counter attendant take it. I choose my own table and they bring my drinks and entree to my table. Great. Great. So I'm happy with the price of what I paid for and the amount you get. But oh geez... that's where I stop. The sweet carrots they had was too sweet and the broccoli was too salty. The hibachi rice was okay, just a bit mushy. And the meat I choose was overly salted. my whole eating time was so bad. Out of all the fast Japanese food I've eaten at, this is by far the worst tasting food and had a whole lot left on my plate! Ugh! I'll never return here again! read more

This place has the best hibachi chicken I've ever eaten. It's actually better (and quicker) than the fancy hibachi and sushi places. I love their rice, which has bits of carrots and peas in it, and the quality of their chicken is excellent. My only complaint is with this one surly employee they have. This guy looks like he's 16, and he's always screwing things up and not apologizing for it. I picked up for DoorDash here today for the first time and I was treated rudely by the lady behind the counter. She was very angry that I left my insulated bag in the car, as I don't bring it into restaurants with me because it's easier to place my orders in the bags once I get back into my car. She then very rudely demanded that I pay attention the the names on the bags and that if I mix them up she will have me banned from doordashing for them in the future. Even though I have never mixed up bags in the past nor messed up an order from them. I did not get a hello when I walked in and I did not get a have a nice day when I walked out. She was just extremely rude the entire time. I pride my self on being as nice to everyone as possible, from the merchant to the customer. It's not asking to much to get the same. read more

This place is one of our "go-to" places when take out is on the menu. They serve generous portions and we are always pleased with the food we get there. My hubby got the steak for the first time and it was perfectly cooked. I always get the chicken, and it's always moist and flavorful. The menu here seems to have been made to look more confusing than necessary. It's hard to explain, you'll just have to trust me. Basically the meat comes with rice & two veggie choices. They will suggest the two veggies that come with your entree- but it's your choice. For those of you that bathe in the shrimp sauce, they charge extra for additional cups of it. read more

I'm wrapping up a quick phone conversation with my wife as I walk in the door, so I pull my phone aside and very deliberately request 'hibachi chicken for here' with squinty eyes, brows elevated, and the customarily supplicative affect borne by those Southerners like me who for whatever reason need to convey an almost apologetic connotation when they ask strangers for things. Instead of leading the transaction in, say, a New York kinda fashion, i.e. '7 bucks for da foist one u'yuhs who can bring me a hot plate, capisce?' - we Southerners often feel compelled to rouse a collective understanding that we are somehow inconveniencing a salesperson or service provider by agreeing to pay them to work, i.e. 'Welp, ma'am, I'd be much obliged if y'all might find the time to make up a dinner plate right fayst if it ain't gon be no trouble far ye.' Why do we have this tendency within us?? Why am I posing this question in a Yelp review of a Japanese takeout joint?? Anyhoo, my phone call with my wife ended 5 minutes and 32 seconds after I entered the front door. You know how I know this? Cause I had to hang up and eat my big ol' plate of Asian Ambrosia that had been DELIVERED TO MY TABLE IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. That is wicked fast, friends. That's faster than most of my McDonalds drive thru trips! On top of the speedy service, the food was EXCELLENT. Better than any other 'average' fast Japanese place I've ever been. They disclose that they prepare everything fresh, nothing frozen, and it truly comes to light on the taste buds, people. I still enjoy bathing my hibachi in shrimp sauce as much as the average American, but the actual meal elements themselves are truly delicious. Ain't no shame in the portion sizes, either... I'll knock it down to 4 stars because it's still a bit shy of life-altering AND it's a little bit pricy for a quick lunch in North Greer Walmart strip mall, imho. We went for the first time on a busy Saturday night. I was very impressed with how friendly and cheerful the staff was. We ate in, and even though there was a long carry-out line, the wait was not unreasonable. The small plates are good, enough food for seniors. There was plenty of chicken and steak, but only 5 small pieces of broccoli and onion. One reviewer said that the regular and small plates are the same size. This is not true. The table next to us had regular size and it was more than double what we had. We had chicken and steak, both good, and the veggies were fresh and al dente. I will say it was pretty bland, so if you are expecting spicy, you'll be disappointed. There is soy sauce on the table and they give plenty of shrimp sauce. Looks like they have new management..... This used to be a place my wife and I really enjoyed until today. First, we were told to just seat ourselves and we chose a comfortable spot in the back, problem with that was apparently they don't check in the back. My wife and I were sitting so long that we already knew what we wanted to eat and drink and had time to talk before a waiter came over to talk to us. Then, the food took at least 30 minutes to come out even though we got the "Fast entrees". When the waiter brought out our food, he spilled some of my food on the tray he was serving off of and made nothing of it. But the thing the waiter did have to say for some reason was how big my plate of food was and it came off very rude. We didn't have our drinks refilled literally until we were about to pay, we were not checked on until we were about to pay. My meal came with the choice of a salad or a soup and I got the miso soup.... you better remind them of what you ordered when they bring it out or else you might not get something. I had to ask for my soup to go once we were finally checked on. Also, the food was not nearly as good as it used to be; the rice was dry and the vegetables were hard. I can't believe the bill either, once we went to pay for it they got the prices confused. The meal I got came with a soup and they were about to charge me for an extra soup, I reminded the waiter that my meal included a soup and he adjusted it..... and somehow the price went up $5... Very unhappy with this place and my wife and I will not be coming back! read more

We sat in the rear booth and were able to view part of the kitchen. A worker entered the kitchen with cart and began placing floor mats on the cart. Here is the issue. The cart was parked next to the grill where the cook was actively cooking someone's meal. Yet the worker continued to pile on the floor mats until the were up to his chest. He slammed the last mat down on the stack and dust/dirt went all over the grill. Sadly, the waitress arrived at this time and we left. We did inform the waitress who apologized. However, it was not her fault. Be careful eating here. The table we sat had a large amount of food on the floor. But the food did look great until the fresh coat of dust. read more
